Installation
- The Kaptur can be surface-mounted on a wall, and installed using a cord and cable with ceiling bracket. Please refer to the accessories for the bracket.
- The luminaire body is made of PS plastic, with a mounting plate in a white enameled steel sheet. The louvre opal diffuser is made of plastic, acrylic (PMMA, IK03), or polycarbonate (PC, IK08) with a stainless steel shade catch. The shade has internal, lengthway grooves.
Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Mounting
- Select a suitable location for the Kaptur luminaire.
- If surface-mounting, use the provided bracket to secure the luminaire to the wall.
- If using a cord and cable with a ceiling bracket, follow the provided instructions to install the bracket and connect the luminaire.
Step 2: Electrical Connection
- Ensure that the power supply is disconnected before making any electrical connections.
- If necessary, consult a qualified electrician to connect the luminaire to the power supply.
- Refer to the specifications for the rated supply voltage and power factor.
- Make sure to use the appropriate MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) based on the rated current (B10A, B16A, C10A, C16A).
- Ensure surge protection by using suitable DM and CM values for the luminaire.
Step 3: Light Adjustment
- After installation and electrical connection, switch on the power supply.
- Check the light distribution to ensure it is direct as specified.
- Adjust the luminaire if necessary to achieve the desired lighting effect.

- Connection Two cable-entry equipped with insertion holes ∅ 22 mm – one in each end cap. Snap-in terminal block 5 x 2.5 mm; option of through-wiring.
- Design Luminaire body of PS plastic. Mounting plate in white enameled steel sheet.
- Louvre Opal diffuser made of plastic, acrylic (PMMA, IK03), or polycarbonate (PC, 1K08) with stainless steel shade catch. The shade has internal, lengthway grooves.
- Light distribution Direct
- Dimming e-Sense Detect – Microwave sensors with lux threshold.
