Installation
The Pleiad G4 165 is designed for recessed mounting in both ventilated and unventilated suspended ceilings. The installation iseasy and tool-free, as the separate driver and installation clip are supplied as standard. However, when mounting on soft tile ceilings, an assembly plate must be used (accessories available). For detailed information, please refer to the installation instructions provided.

Design
The luminaire body of the Pleiad G4 165 is made of cast aluminium, providing durability and a sleek appearance. The visible reflector ring is made of white aluminum (RAL 9003). The reflector itself is made of matt metallised aluminium and is available in white (RAL 9003) or black (RAL 9005) finish. The lens is made of clear acrylic.

Connection

Connection in separate driver box. Snap-in terminal block 3×1.5 mmm? (x2), onward connection possible. 5×1.5 mm’ (x2) when dimming. Can also be suppliedwith chassis mounted snap-in connector in the driver where a T-splitter or mains cable and plug are possible. The luminaire body and driver are interconnected with a snap-in connector.

Miscellaneous

The luminaire is supplied with dust protection over the light opening. IP 64 is under a suspended ceiling, IP 20 is above a suspended ceiling. Luminaire body Class III. The supplied driver must be connected to the protective earth. Luminaires with Tunable White (2700 – 6500 K) are equipped with driver DALI Device type 8. Luminaires with RGB/W are equipped with driver DALI Device type 6(4 addresses/luminaire). Also available for DMX on request.

For loads in the suspended ceiling system, follow the selected suspended ceiling supplier’s recommendation. CLO (Constant Light Output) maintains the correct light from the luminaire for the duration of its rated life.
