For proper wiring, contact an automotive electrical specialist who will wire the connector with proper insulation. The connector complies with the ISO1724 standard.
- When connecting the cables, make sure that the cables do not accidentally come into contact with each other and that a short circuit does not occur.
- Remove the waterproof cover for the cable inlet from the connection housing.
- Open the connector housing by unscrewing the screws and take out the inside of the connector.
- Insert the cable to be connected through the waterproof cover!
- Connect the cables according to the markings with the screws, then put them back in the device housing. When reinserting the socket, make sure that the screw of the middle socket faces upwards, so that the two halves of the device housing will fit together perfectly.
- After connection, check that you have correctly connected the cables to the sockets! A short circuit can cause serious material damage or even fire in the vehicle!
- Secure the cable with the clamp on the inside of the connector. This prevents the cable from being pulled out of the socket under tension. Assemble the connector housing and fix it using the two screws on the device housing.
- Place the watertight cap back on the end of the connection housing!
- Connect the plug to the car’s electrical system and test!
- Check the correct operation of the lights, only then take part in road traffic!
