Function Introduction & Buttons Appearance
Record/Save
To begin the recording, switch ON, the light will turn red and flashes for
twice. When you want to finish the record, simply switch OFF, the light will
flash red for one time,then a purple light will be flashing fast for several
times. This means that the recording files have been saved and recorder is
off. Headphone or data cable shall not be plugged in before or after turning
on recording function.
Note : There won’t be any light flashing while recording, please do not
connect to computer at this time otherwise it might lose the recording file.
Playback : MP3 music files/Recorded files
To play the MP3 music file in the device, you will need to connect the earphone through the transfer cable to the recorder, then swich ON and indicator light will be slowly flashing in blue. If you hope to playback the recorded files, simply press “+” and “-” buttons at the same time and hold for a sec to switch mode (when swiching mode indicator light will be flashing fast in purple), then it will switch to recorded file playing mode which indicator light flashes red slowly.
Note 1: Please fully insert the earphone inside the device while playing
the recording or music.
Note 2: Mind the direction of the cable while plugged in
Tip : If indicator light is flashing red & blue at playback mode, it
means there is no MP3 music file or recording file in the recorder.
Adjust Volume/Switch Song/File
- While playing music/recorded file, press and Hold “+”/”-” button (purple light flashes fast) to turn up/down volume.
- While playing music/recorded file, press “+” button to play next song/file, press “-” button to play last song/file.
Pause & Playing/Fast Forward/Backward
- Pause : While playing, press “+”/”-” can pause the playing (purple light flashes slowly while paused). Simply press ‘+’ again to resume playing.
- Fast forward/backward: This function need to be activated after switch ON, and the volume adjust function will not be able to use at this time. Press and Hold “+”/”-” button to begin playing in fast forward/backward mode(Blue light will be flashing). While playing, press and hold ‘+’ for fast forward, press “-” for fast backward.
- Notice : This mode need to be activated every time before playing if needed.
Voice Activation Mode
When switch ON the record, and the light turns red, press and Hold “-”
button to activate this mode. If the light is flashing fast in red, voice
activation function is started. In this mode, the device will automatically
record when there is sound. Same
Note : This mode could save memory storage. Voice activation mode is off
by default, and shall be manually started if needed each time.
Low-sensitivity Recording Mode
Low-sensitivity recording: Please minded that this mode can not insert
earphone and transfer cable. Press and hold “+” button and switch ON, until
light flashing fast in red to enter the low-sensitivity recording mode.
Note : This mode could save battery power. Low-sensitivity Recording mode
is off by default, and shall be manually started if needed each time
Delete Files
After deleting files, unplug headphone and restart the Unit for recording.
Note : While playing a recording file, only recording files can be
deleted; while playing MP3 music, only MP3 music files can be deleted.
Time Synchronization
When the device is off, connect it to the computer through USB cable. After opening the disk, double click “Time Synchronization Tool” to run it, click “OK” to finish time synchronization. If no further operation is needed, disconnect data cable and unplug the device.
- Note : this could not be done on some computer due to compatibility issue or anti-virus software in computer. Try to copy [Time Synchronization Tool] and [Hardware.dll] into the local disk of your computer, double click and run Time Synchronization Tool, if this also fails, try to turn off anti-virus software and run Time Synchronization Tool.
- Another solution: Find the [timeset] file in the disk and open it, delete the wrong time in it and press F5 to refresh. Remeber to save this file before closing and finish the time synchoronization.
Recording while charging
Connect the device to charger or computer through the cable, switch ON when
the light is flashing in red or a blue light on long. Then press and hold “+”
and “-” buttons at the same time until the light flashing in red, Wait for the
light flashes red again and then goes off, the device will start recording
while charging.
Check Recording Status
During recording, Press and hold “+” or “-” button, if light flashes in
red, it means the device is of normal recording mode. If light flashes in
blue, it means the device is of voice activation recording.
Connect to Computer
Due to different compatibilities of computer operation systems, before
connecting to computer, please connect the device through data cable first,
and then connect computer through USB plug.
Notice : Please do not disconnect the device with the computer while the
file is during transmit or files might be damaged.
Hint : If the transfer cable and earphone is plugged out during playback
mode, the device will pause automatically. If there’s not any operation in
5mins, it will shutdown automatically. Please switch to the OFF button then
switch ON to use again.
Return to factory settings
- Device cannot work properly / Need to wipe data
If the device is stalled or crashed for some reason, please connect the device to computer, and choose the disk of this recorder on computer. Select it and right-click, and choose to reset factory data. This can solve most of the problem.
Note : After resetting the factory Settings, the files in the device will be lost. You will need to backup before resetting and copy the files to the computer or other storage.
Charge
This device can be charged through cable while connect with PC and charging
adapter. During charging, the light will flashes slowly in red. when the
device is fully charged, there wll be a blue light on long. It’s suggested to
charge for another 1 hour after the blue light. If the device is charging at a
low voltage, the light might not turn to blue but the device can still be used
normally. If the device is of low battery, there will be not light show when
you switch ON and then you can tell it need to be charged.

Be sure to save the recording and turn it off before connecting to your computer, or the file you are recording will be lost. Due to the high sound quality of this product, multiple recordings will use more memory capacity, please backup the recording files to the computer in time.
