1. Installation

The Pleiad G4 205 can be installed by following these steps:

Choose a suitable location for recessed mounting in unventilated or ventilated suspended ceilings.
Ensure the separate driver and installation clip are included for easy and tool-free installation.
If mounting on soft tile ceilings, use an assembly plate (see accessories) for secure installation.

2. Design

The Pleiad G4 205 features a luminaire body made of cast aluminium. The visible reflector ring is made of white aluminium (RAL 9003). The reflector itself is made of matt metallised aluminium in either white (RAL 9003) or black (RAL 9005) finish. The lens is made of clear acrylic.

Introduction

Efficient downlight with excellent technical lighting properties. Choose between several luminous fluxes, reflector options and distribution angles. Also available with Tunable White, RB/W and integrated emergency lighting.

Connection Connection in separate driver box. Snap-in terminal block 3×1.5 mmm? (×2), onward connection possible. 5×1.5 mm? (x2) when dimming. Can also be supplied with chassis mounted snap-in connector in the ballast where a T-splitter or mains cable and plug are possible. The luminaire body and driver are interconnected with a snap-in connector.

The supplied driver must be connected to the protective earth. Luminaires with Tunable White (2700 – 6500 K) are equipped with driver DALI Device type 8. For loads in the suspended ceiling system, follow the selected suspended ceiling supplier’s recommendation. CLO (Constant Light Output) maintains the correct light from the luminaire for the duration of its rated life.
