INSTRUCTION

To get the best out of your new apparatus, please read this brochure carefully before using it for the first time. We also recommend that you keep the instructions for future reference, so that you can have a checklist of the functions of your apparatus.

BATTERY INSTRUCTIONS

The scale supports 2 power supply mode: 2XAAA batteries: DC 3.7V 240 mAh rechargeable battery (Only used for rechargeable battery scales)

  1. Remove the cover on the back of the scale, and insert two new AAA batteries (or USB charging cable) observing the correct polarity indicated in the battery compartment and close the lid.
  2. Leaking batteries must be replaced immediately, as these can damage the appliance.
  3. Used batteries should, if possible, be deposited in a special container for used batteries or at a recycling point.
  4. Remove the batteries if the appliance is not used for a prolonged period

CALIBRATION STEP

Calibration allows to settle the balance to obtain a faithful behavior during the recording or the reproduction of measures. (Please use a corresponding calibrate weights)

  1. Hold the “On/Off button to turn on the scale, and Continuous click the “UNIT” button four times before the LCD display “0” Do not put any weight on the tray.
  2. Click “On/Off” button to switch the corresponding weight.
  3. Click the “UNIT” button to select the calibration value refer to the capacity of scale and the calibration value blinking.
  4. Put the corresponding calibrate weight on the middle of the tray. The display will show “PASS”.
  5. Remove the weight from the tray and turn OFF the scale. Calibration is complete.

USE INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Place the appliance on a level surface (The sensors in the rubber feet only function properly when resting on a level surface)
  2. Switch the appliance on by pressing the “ON/OFF” button and the value “0” appears on the display.
  3. The display shows the measuring units used g/gn/tl/ml/lb/ct/oz/ozt/ kg to modify the measuring units press in sequence the “UNIT button.
  4. Place the object you wish to weigh on the weighing platform.
  5. Wait until the display is stable, and read the weight on the display.
  6. Use the tare function of the appliance to weigh several consecutive objects in the following manners:
    A) Place the object you wish to weigh on the weighing platform proceeding.
    B) Press the “ZERO” button once to reset the weight. The weight of the first object will now be displayed as zero, even though it remains on the weighing platform.
    C) Place the next object on the weighing platform (e.g. add the colour product into the bowl) and read the weight when the display is stable. The weight shown on the display is that of the product which has just been added following the use of the Tare function.
    D) Hold the “ZERO” button 3 seconds to turn off the scale.

ADJUST THE AUTO SHUT-OFF TIME

  1. Turn on the scale and when the LCD shows-1888888 Continuous click the UNIT button three times, then hold the UNIT button for the third time until display “180”. Click the ZERO button to adjust the auto shut-off time, “180” means it will turn off after 3 minute of non-use, “120” means it will turn off after 2 minute of non-use, “60” means it will turn off after 1 minute of non-use; “0” means manual shut-off.
  2. Then press the “UNIT” button to confirm it. The display will show “PASS” to indicate successful setting.

SAFETY MEASURES

  7. Remove the batteries if the appliance remains unused for a prolonged period.
  8. Do not attempt to weigh objects which exceed the appliances maximum capacity.
  9.  If the appliance has been damaged, it should be inspected and if necessary repairs or modifications to the appliance will invalidate the guarantee.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  1. If the symbol [LO】is shown on the display, or if you cannot switch on the appliance, or it does not
    work correctly, you should replace the batteries.

  2. If you try to weigh something heavier than the appliance capacity can bear, the display will show 【O_Ld】(Overload).

  3. Display [EEEE】is due to incorrect operation. The core component (like sensor) is damaged (eg: impact, drop, overload). Please try to re-calibrate.

  4. The display will be show “0” when turn on the scale, if not and show 【OOE2】 or 【OUF2】,please Check this issues: Verify it is operated on on a level surface and windless solid table; Whether the platform or protective film has not been removed and re-calibrate if necessary.

  5. Default display is “0”, “0.0”, “0.00” when power on.

  6. If you wish to move the appliance, you should turn it off before moving.

  7. Do not switch it on again until it is placed correctly on a level surface. The sensor only functions properly when resting on a level surface.

  8. Energy saving design: The electronic scale will be automatically power off after 120 seconds of inactivity.
