Control Panel Functions
The control panel consists of the following buttons and indicators:
- On/Off button

Pot Detection System
The hob is equipped with a pot detection system that recognizes pans with a magnetizable base suitable for use with induction hobs. If the pan is removed during operation, or if an unsuitable pan is used, the display shows the symbol.
Permanent Deactivation
To permanently deactivate the hob, follow these steps:
- Turn the hob on and make sure none of the cooking areas are active.
- Press and hold the On/Off button and the Power level / Timer control button together, then release.
- Press the On/Off button again.
Cooking Area Timer
The hob allows you to set a timer for each cooking area. The timer can be set as follows:
- Select the cooking area required.
- Press and hold the Power level / Timer control button and the Button to select cooking area together.
- Set the desired time using the + and – buttons.
- Do not touch anything for 10 seconds to start the countdown.

Pot detection
Each of the cooking areas is equipped with a system to detect the presence of a pan. The pan presence detection system recognises pans with a magnetisable base suitable for use with induction hobs. Functions
Boost function
The Boost function can be used to provide extra power in a cooking area for 5 minutes. This function is useful to boil up large amounts of water.
Activation:

This timer is a countdown to turn off a specific cooking area, and can be set to run for from 1 to 99 minutes. During this time the cooking area will work normally. The cooking areas are independent and can therefore be programmed individually. At the end of the set time a buzzer will sound, which can be silenced by pressing any of the buttons.
Activation:
With the hob on, a pan in position and the cooking area operating:
