Safety Precautions

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Do not allow anyone to climb, sit, stand or lean on the cover of the appliance to prevent personal injury and damage to the appliance.
• If the supply cord or any other part is damaged, please contact our customer service.
• When disconnecting the power plug, do not yank the power cord directly to prevent it from breaking. When repairing or cleaning the appliance, the power plug must be unplugged.
• Only drinking water can be used to make ice, otherwise it will cause personal injury and product damage.

⚠ Danger: Do not store or use inflammable articles, such as gas, paint, gasoline near the appliance, and do not put inflammable and explosive articles, such as alcohol, gasoline in the appliance to prevent explosions and fire hazards.
⚠ Danger: Do not place the appliance in a damp environment.
⚠ Warning: This appliance is only suitable for making and storing ice cubes.
It is not used for other purposes, such as storing blood and its products, medicines, biological products, chemicals.
⚠ Warning: It is not recommended to place and use electrical devices such as microwave ovens, electric pans, voltage stabilizers on the top of the appliance, nor to place heavy objects and containers with liquids on the top of the appliance, in order to prevent them from falling off and causing injury or liquid spillage that may lead to electric shock and fires.
⚠ Warning: If any flammable gas leaks indoors, the valve of the leak source should be closed first and try to disperse the gas. Do not unplug or operate the appliance to avoid fire.
⚠ Warning: Make sure that the ventilation openings of the appliance and its operating environment are free from obstructions to ensure good ventilation. Warning: Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.

Handling and Positioning

• Handing
  ⚠ Do not hold the cover to carry the appliance, but lift it by the handle or the bottom of the appliance.
  ⚠ Do not lift or turn it upside down.

• Positioning
  -The appliance must be used on a flat, stable surface to avoid danger to the user.
  -The appliance must be placed in a dry and ventilated place. To avoid overheating, to avoid compromising the effect of the appliance and to prevent dangers from arising, keep a space of at least 20cm around the ventilation openings and a space of at least 30cm on the top.
  -Do not cover or block the appliance’s ventilation openings, and keep away from curtains and other flammable materials. Avoid direct exposure to heat sources or direct sunlight.
  ⚠ Warning: When positioning the appliance, ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged. Do not locate multiple portable socket or portable power sources on the rear of the appliance.
  ⚠ Warning: Do not use the appliance in corridors

Electrical Connection

• Power supply: This appliance adopts AC power supply (refer to the product nameplate for specific power supply specifications), and the allowable voltage fluctuation range is ±10%.
• In order to ensure safe use, the socket and its connecting wires must be able to withstand more than 10A of current.
• Be sure to use a separate, three-conductor power outlet with safe ground wire.

Use

Preparation Before Use

• Remove all packaging components, including foam pads at the bottom, foam pads and tape (if any) for internal securing accessories.

• Check the accessories and the user manual.

• Place the appliance in the appropriate location by referring to the “Handling and Positioning” section.

• Follow the cleaning tips to clean the inside and outside of the appliance.
  Start to Use

• Insert the plug according to the “Electrical Connection” instructions and turn on the appliance.

• Fill with water following the instructions of “Water Filling and Drainage”.

• Refer to the instructions on the “Operation Panel and Functions” to set up and start up.
  ⚠ The appliance that has been moved should be stationary for 30 minutes before starting to make ice, otherwise the cooling effect will be affected, and the cooling system will be damaged in severe cases.
  ⚠ Make sure the plugs are firmly connected. Loose plugs can cause wires and sockets to heat up, break or even catch fire.
  ⚠ Please ensure that the ventilation openings of this appliance and its surroundings are free from obstacles to ensure its ventilation.

Operation Panel and Functions

• Standby Mode
  -Power on, the work indicator flashes, the appliance enters standby mode.
  -Under ice making mode, short press ice making button once, the work indicator flashes, the appliance enters standby mode.
• Ice Making Mode
  -Under other working modes except washing mode, short press the ice making button once, the working indicator will be always on, the appliance enters ice making mode.
• Washing Mode
  -Under standby mode, press and hold the ice making button for 3S, the work indicator, add water indicator and ice full indicator light up at the same time, the appliance enters washing mode.
  -After the washing process is finished, it automatically returns to standby mode.
  -Under the washing mode, short press the ice making button to exit the washing mode.
• Ice Full Reminding Mode
  -During the ice making process, when the ice cubes block the signal transmission of the photoelectric sensor, the ice full indicator lights up and there is a “beep” sound for about 3S, meanwhile the appliance automatically enters the ice full reminding mode.
  -When the ice cubes melt or are removed manually, the signal transmission of the photoelectric sensor is restored, it will automatically resume ice making.
  -If there is no ice cube or other foreign object blocking the signal transmission of photoelectric sensor, but the appliance still indicates ice full, it means the photoelectric sensor is in failure. At this time, if you want to make ice, you can press and hold the ice making button for 3S to force ice making. It will automatically enter ice-full reminding mode after working 10 rounds.
• Water Shortage Reminding Mode
  -Under the working process of ice making and washing mode, when the water volume of the water storage room is low or the water box is not filled with water, the add water indicator will light up, and there will be a “beep” sound for about 3S, then the appliance automatically enters water shortage reminding mode. -Under the water shortage reminding mode, add water and short press the ice making button to enter ice making mode.
• Ice Making Box Not Reset Reminding Mode
  -During the working process of ice making and washing mode, when the ice making box fails to reach the water filling or ice-shedding position within 2 minutes, add water indicator and ice full indicator will light up at the same time, and there will be a “beep” sound for about 3S, then the appliance automatically enters ice making box not reset reminding mode.
  -It will automatically enter ice making mode after 30 minutes.

Water Filling and Drainage

• Water filling
  -When the water volume in the water storage area is too low or there is a water shortage reminding, you need to fill water.
  -Manually fill drinking water into the water storage area.
  -The amount of water filling each time must not exceed the maximum water level mark. Warning: fill with potable water only.

• Water Drainage
  -Drainage is required when the water in the storage area is contaminated or when the inner walls of the storage area need to be cleaned.
  -Pull out the stopper before drainage.
  -Properly move the appliance and place a water storage container directly under the drain outlet.
  -Pull out the drain stopper and the water will flow out automatically.
  -After drainage is finished, the stopper should be plugged in. When filling or draining water, make sure that water does not get into the live parts of the appliance to avoid danger. When using the appliance again after drainage, please check whether there is water leakage at the drain outlet to ensure there is no leakage before continuing to use.
  Kindly Reminder

• Under ice making mode, avoid putting your hands into the ice making area to prevent danger.

• When using pure water or distilled water to make ice, there may be a false alarm of water shortage, just add a little salt to solve.

• To obtain larger ice cubes, in addition to lowering the room temperature, you can also use water of lower temperature to make ice. The ice making box not reset reminding mode is designed as a protective feature. In general
  -When there are ice cubes or foreign objects around the outer periphery of the ice making box that block the rotation of the ice making box, you only need to remove the ice cubes or foreign objects manually.
  -When the ice cubes on the ice making columns are too big that they affect the rotation of the ice making box, please wait until the ice cubes melt and fall out naturally. Do not remove them from the columns with force.

• To avoid contaminating ice cubes, follow these instructions:
  -Opening the cover for a long period of time can cause the temperature in the ice storage room to increase significantly.
  -Regularly clean surfaces that may come into contact with ice cubes and the accessible drainage system; if the appliance is not used for 48 hours, the water storage area needs to be cleaned; if the water in the water storage area is left inside for more than 5 days, the water circulation system connected to the water supply system needs to be washed.
  -If the appliance is left empty for a long period of time, please turn off, defrost, clean, dry, and keep the cover open to prevent mold from developing inside it.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Cleaning

• Precautions for storage room and external cleaning
  -Disconnect the plug before cleaning.
  -When cleaning, make sure that water does not get into the live parts.
  -Clean the inside and outside of the appliance with a soft towel dampened in warm water or a mild detergent.
  -Do not clean with cleaners that contain abrasives (such as toothpaste), acids, chemical solvents (such as alcohol), or polishes. -Do not flush with water.
• Inner cleaning
  -Fill the storage area with a 1:2 solution of water and vinegar following the instructions of “Water Filling”.
  -Start washing mode.
  -After the washing mode is finished, follow the instructions of “Water Drainage” to drain the solution away.
  -Circling the process of filling water-washing-drainage, repeat several times until clean water comes out when draining.

Maintenance

• Place the appliance in a dry and well-ventilated place, ensure that it is not near heat sources and is not exposed to direct sunlight.
• Water that is too hot should be cooled to room temperature before making ice.
• Minimize the opening time of the appliance cover.
• Regularly clean the ventilation openings. Other Attentions
• Turn off and stop using
  -If you need to turn it off, you can directly disconnect the power plug.

Analysis and Elimination of Non-fault Phenomena

• Fog condensation on the outside surface
  -When the air humidity is high, this phenomenon will occur, just wipe it dry.
• Obviously different sizes of ice cubes
  -Use again after deactivation, the refrigeration system did not run stably during the first few rounds of ice making.
  -The ambient temperature is too low.
• Ice cubes too small
  -Ambient temperature or ice making water temperature is high.
• Abnormal noise (“hissing”, “whirr”, “tick”, “whine”)
  -When the refrigeration system is working, the refrigerant will make a “hissing” sound as it flows through the lines.
  -When the refrigeration system is working, there will be a slight “whirr” sound when the fan rotates.
  -When the water box rotates to the ice-shedding position, there will be a “tick” sound of the solenoid valve opening/closing.
  -When the water is filled inside, there will be a “whine” sound of the pump pumping water.
  -The above conditions are normal phenomena when the appliance is working.
