Precautions

Precautions for Use

  • Do not operate the unit while driving by local laws and vehicle safety considerations.
  • Before use, please set the time and date correctly.
  • During use, it is normal when the unit gets hot.
  • To extend the service life, do not leave the unit in a high-temperature environment.
  • The shooting range is limited. Please confirm the recorded images before using this unit.
  • Improper use or operation of this unit may cause damage to this unit or its accessories which is not covered by the warranty.
  • The main body is equipped with a small capacity battery(the battery lasts about afew minutes), it basically needs a power supply environment. The power may turnoff immediately after unplugging the cable, but this is not a product malfunction.

Precautions for Installation

  • Install this unit near the rear-view mirror so that you can maximumrecord the wide-angle landscape.
  • Do not block the driver’s sight when installing the drive recorder.
  • Do not touch the lens with your fingers. The oil on your fingers will remain on thelens and cause unclear video/still images. Clean the lens regularly.
  • Do not pull strongly on the unit and cord when cleaning the front windowglass.

Precautions for Micro SD Card Use

  • This unit records images in front of or behind the vehicle and saves themon theTF(micro SD) card of this unit.
  • When using the driving recorder for the first time, be sure to insert the TF cardintothe recorder card slot. [Note] Please use a high-speed TF card (above Class6), the capacity is not less than8GB, and the TF card supports up to 64GB.
  • Please turn off the power before inserting or unplugging the TF card. If the cardis plugged and unplugged while the power is on, the TF card and data may be damaged.

Installation Guide

  1. Turn off the car engine.

  2. Insert the TF card into the recorder card slot.
    [Note] Please use a high-speed TF card (above Class6), the capacity is not less than8GB, and the TF card supports up to 64GB.

  3. Fix the recorder next to the built-in rearview mirror of the car, preferably in thecenter.

  4. Insert the car charger into the car cigarette lighter.

Installation

  1. Connect the USB port of the recorder and the car charger with a charging extension cable.
    [Note] When wiring, you can lay the charging extension cable along the edge of the windshield of the car (please install it according to your car, the figure is onlyan example of the cable wiring on the back).

  2. Adjust the position of the lens to ensure that the lens is level with the ground.

  3. Start the engine and check if the machine is installed correctly.
    [Note] When the machine is installed correctly, the system working indicator lights up; the machine starts to enter the recording state, and the video indicator flashes. Please pay attention to check whether the picture on the display is normal, if thepicture is inverted, please contact us in time.

Function Introduction

Use the Automatic Recording Function
Start the car engine, the recorder automatically starts and starts the recordingfunction, the charging indicator light is on, and the video indicator light flashes. Turn off the car engine, the recorder automatically saves the recorded content andshuts down. The recorded images are saved in sections on the TF card. When theTF card is full, the recorder will overwrite the earlier recorded images. Therecording time period can be set in the menu by itself, and the range is three levels of 1/3/5 minutes.

Use Manual Recording Function
Short press the recorder [power Key], the recorder will start and start automatic recording, the video indicator will light up and flash. If you need to shut down, press and hold the [Power Key] again for 3 seconds, and the recorder will automatically save the record and shut down.

  • Note: When the battery power is low, the video recorder will prompt that thebattery voltage is low, and then automatically shut down.

Date and Time Setting
In the standby mode, long press [M key] to enter the system setting menu, andshortly press [M key] again after entering the menu interface to enter the functionsetting interface, and press [△]/[▽] to move the cursor to the set date option. Press [OK] to enter, after entering, press [ △ ]/[ ▽ ] to add or subtract thecorresponding date/time, press [OK] to confirm, and short press [Mkey] to exit after setting.

  • In order to effectively record the date and time of obtaining evidence for drivingsafety accidents, please set the correct date and time before using this machine.
  • If you have not used this product for a long time, the date/time may be reset or changed. In this case, please reset it.

Language setting

  1. Press and hold [M key] for about 5 seconds to enter the main menu.
  2. Short press the M key again to enter the function setting interface.
  3. Press [△]/[▽] to select the desired language, and then press the OK button. 4. Press [M key] to exit the menu.

Camera Function
In the power-on state, short press the [M key] to enter the photo mode, the iconin the upper left corner of the display has been converted froma camera toacamera, and short press the [Enter key] to take a photo. If you need to switch backto the video mode, short press the [menu key] twice.

Playback of Shooting Files
In the state of starting video recording, first short press the [Enter key] to stoprecording (auto save), and then short press the [M key] twice to switch to theplayback mode. Short press【△】/【▽】, find the file to be played back, and short press【OK】to play it. Exit playback mode, and then short press【M】.

Collision Sensing Function
The machine has a built-in collision sensor (G-sensor). If a serious vehicle collisionoccurs, the recorder will lock the video at the time of the accident and save it as aspecial image. At the same time, the lock icon will be displayed on the upper left of the screen. The locked image will not be overwritten by the loop. *Gravity sensing supports sensitivity adjustment (Off/Low/Medium/High), and youcan change the settings in the settings menu according to actual needs.

One-key Lock Function
This machine has a one-key lock function, which can lock the images that needtobe retained without being overwritten by loops. In the video mode, short press the[menu key], the recorder will lock the image.

  • Note: When the video is played back, there will be a lock icon in the upper left corner of the successfully locked video. If there is no lock pattern, the lock is not successful.

One-key Mute Function
In the working state, short press [▽], and the microphone at the top of the screenwill change to a prohibited icon, indicating that the video recording function has been turned off. At this time, the recorder only records images but not sounds. Short press [▽] again when the microphone prohibition icon at the top of the screen disappears, indicating that the recording function is restored.

  • The settings will be automatically saved, and there is no need to set the mute function after the machine is turned on again.

Motion Detection Function
When the motion detection function is turned on, in the off state, if there is anobject moving in the camera range, the recorder will automatically turn ontorecord and lock it. At this time, if it is turned off, it will record for 15 seconds andthen turn off. If it is not turned off, it will automatically enter the normal loop recording after 15 seconds after locking the recording.

  • This function requires hardware support.

Troubleshooting

Under normal operating conditions, if there is a problem with the product, pleaserefer to the following methods to solve it:

  • Cannot take photos or videos
    Check if the TF card has enough space and if it is locked.

  • Turn on the power and start recording
    When parking mode is turned on, the power may be turned on and recording will start due to severe vibration. Please turn off the parking mode at this time.

  • The power is turned off immediately
    Although it is equipped with a battery, the capacity is small (the battery life is about a few minutes), so it basically needs a power supply environment. Thepower may turn off immediately after unplugging the cable, but this is not aproduct malfunction.

  • The captured image is foggy
    Please check the lens for dirt and fingerprints; before shooting, please wipe thelens with lens paper.

  • When shooting sky, water surface, etc. the image is very dark
    In high-contrast scenes, the camera’s automatic exposure function will be affected, which can be corrected by adjusting the “Exposure” value in the machine settings menu. Exposure values are -3, -2, -1,0, +1, +2, +3.

  • There are horizontal stripes in the image
    This is caused by the wrong “source frequency” setting. Please set it to “50Hz” or “60Hz” according to the local power frequency.
