  • B. Power indicator light
  • C. Thermostat knob
  • D. Power switch knob
  • E. Timer setting knob
  • F. Air outlet grille (Turbo mode)
  • G. Cable reel for the power cable

HOW TO INSTALL THE SUPPLIED WHEELS

In the packaging, the radiator does not have wheels, which must therefore be mounted before putting the appliance into operation. Do not operate the heater without the wheels assembled on the bottom of the unit, otherwise there may be a risk of fire. Before using the new radiator, the two metal plates and the wheels (included) must be fitted.

  1. Turn the radiator upside down and grip it firmly, place it on a flat and stable surface to avoid damaging the floor (Fig1).
  2. Then insert the U-bolt into the radiator by passing it through the heating elements (Fig.2-3).
  3. Place the wheels on the metal plate, and after positioning the “U” bolt in the radiator, insert the metal plate with the wheels, thus making the metal plate enter the protrusions of the “U” bolt (Fig.4) .
  4. Screw the two wing nuts firmly onto the protrusions of the “U” bolt, to allow the metal plate to be fixed to the wheels (Fig.5).
Once the wheel assembly operations have been completed, put the radiator back in the vertical position.

HOW TO USE THE RADIATOR

Choose a suitable place to position the radiator, considering the general safety warnings given in the first part of this manual. Only use this radiator in an upright position. Set all controls to 0 position, insert the plug into the electrical socket, ensuring that voltage is compliant with that specified on the product data plate.
After placing the power selector knob in position 0, turn it clockwise to select the desired heating mode and power in one of the following 5 settable levels/modes:

WARM BLACK TT 9

  • ECO (minimum power) 900W
  • COMFORT (medium power) 1100W
  • SUPER (maximum power) 2000W
  • TURBO (cold ventilation only) 400W
  • SUPER + FORCED VENTILATION (TURBO) 2400W (SUPER TURBO MODE)

WARM BLACK TT 11

  • ECO (minimum power) 1000W
  • COMFORT (medium power) 1500 W
  • SUPER (maximum power) 2500W
  • TURBO (cold ventilation only) 400W
  • SUPER + FORCED VENTILATION (TURBO) 2400W (SUPER TURBO MODE)
  • It is possible to activate the Turbo function, which allows the radiator to introduce hot air into the room through the grille on the front. To activate this function, turn the power selector knob and position it on:
  • Then turn the room thermostat knob to the maximum position. When the temperature in the room reaches the desired one, slowly turn the thermostat knob anticlockwise until the pilot light goes off. If the room temperature drops below the set temperature, the radiator will automatically reactivate to reach the set temperature, in this way the room temperature will remain constant with energy saving. If you want to change the set temperature, turn the thermostat clockwise to increase it, or counterclockwise to decrease it.
  • To switch off the radiator, turn the selector knob to 0, the light goes out and remove the plug if you do not plan to use the product.

TIMER SETTING
It is possible to set the on and off timer of the radiator, using the timer knob located on the side of the radiator:

  • The Timer knob is made up of 96 red segments (D), and each segment equals 15 minutes and allows the radiator to be switched on and operated over a 24-hour period.
  • First of all it is necessary to adjust the current time, then turn the knob (A) clockwise to the position of the arrow (B), which sets the current time.
  • Position the red button on ACTIVE TIMER to program the switching on and off of the radiator.
  • Position the outer ring of the clock (A) on the switch-on time: for example, to set the switch-on at 20.00, turn the outer ring of the timer clockwise until the arrow indicator is at number 20. Then , set the duration of operation by moving the red segments of the timer (D) outwards: considering that each segment is worth 15 minutes, to set 1 hour of operation move 4 segments between 8 and 9 pm. The appliance will switch off at end of the set time.
  • During the set time interval, the operation of the radiator will in any case also be regulated by the thermostat.
  • If the button is positioned on “I”, the radiator always works, regulated only by the thermostat. If the button is positioned on “0”, the unit does not work or stops working.
  • The timer setting does not reset after the unit is switched off, but each time the unit is unplugged the clock stops updating the current time, so the next time the heater is switched on the current time will have to be reset, using the arrow (B). If you want the radiator to work on the timer, leave the red button on Timer active .

PROTECTION SYSTEMS
This radiator has an overheating protection system which allows the product to be switched off when some parts become excessively hot. To turn off the radiator completely, return the power selector to the 0 position and then turn the thermostat knob anticlockwise until you hear a click of total shutdown. Then pull the cord out of the socket if the appliance is not to be used for a certain period of time.
This radiator has an anti-overturning protection system, which allows it to be switched off in the event of the product accidentally overturning, or if it is excessively tilted. Then put the radiator back in the vertical position, to resume normal operation.

HOW TO CLEAN THE RADIATOR

  • Always unplug and leave the radiator to cool before cleaning.
  • Use a damp cloth to clean the radiator exterior and remove dust. Leave the casing to dry before using the appliance again.
  • Do not immerse the radiator into the water.
  • Do not allow water to enter the radiator.
  • Do not use benzene, solvents or abrasive compounds to clean the radiator, as these may damage the casing.
  • Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the air inlet/outlet grilles.
  • Ensure that the radiator is dry before inserting the plug.
  • Do not use metal tools to clean the radiator. Any metal fragments that may detach may come into contact with the panel’s electrical components and cause a short-circuit.
  • In the event of malfunctions or damages, always contact an authorised service centre.

STORAGE OF RADIATOR

If the radiator is not used for prolonged periods, it must be stored together with this manual in its original packaging, in a cool and dry place. Never put the appliance away when still hot. Wind the power cord on the appropriate cable winder. Always wait for it to cool down.
