Product Usage Instructions
Definitions
The following definitions apply to the guarantee:
- Primagran: Primagran Sp. z o.o, a company based in Poland
- Garant: The guarantor of the product
Scope of the Guarantee
The guarantee applies to the following:
- Material scope: This guarantee refers to Products.
- Personal scope: The terms and conditions of this guarantee apply solely to the Products acquired by Consumers.
- Territorial scope: The guarantee applies only in the country in which a given Product was purchased directly from Primagran or its authorized distributor.
Representations of Primagran
The following representations are made by Primagran:
- Products comply with the European quality standards and were manufactured without any defects.
- We guarantee the correct operation of Products provided they are installed, used, and maintained according to Primagran’s instructions.
Period of Guarantee
The period of guarantee for different components is as follows:

DEFINITIONS
- Primagran, Guarantor – Primagran Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Poland: Żuławki 15C, 82-103 Stegna, KRS 0000367567, Region 221041203, NIP: 9571039974.
- Consumer – a natural person acquiring Products from Primagran without any connection to their economic or professional activity.
- Granite sinks – sinks of Primagran brand, made of conglomerate.
- Steel sinks – sinks made of stainless steel for which Primagran provides a guarantee as the Seller.
- Washbasins – washbasins of Primagran brand.
- Faucets – kitchen and washbasin faucets for which Primagran grants warranty as a seller.
- Dispensers – dispensers for which Primagran provides a guarantee as the Seller
- Accessories – siphon traps, dispensers, cutting boards, drainers, and other articles of kitchen equipment for which Primagran grants guarantee as a seller.
- Products – Sinks, washbasins, faucets, and Accessories together.
SCOPE OF THE GUARANTEE
- (The material scope of the guarantee): This guarantee refers to Products.
- (The personal scope of the guarantee): The terms and conditions of this guarantee apply solely to the Products acquired by Consumers.
- (Territorial scope of the guarantee): The guarantee applies only in the country in which a given Product was purchased directly from Primagran or its authorized distributor.
REPRESENTATIONS OF PRIMAGRAN
- Products comply with the European quality standards and were manufactured without any defects.
- We guarantee the correct operation of Products provided they are installed, used, and maintained under Primagran’s instructions.
PERIOD OF GUARANTEE
- The guarantee period:
- For granite sinks – 35 years;
- For granite sinks with a lifetime guarantee – an indefinite period for the body of the sink.
- For steel sinks – 10 years
- For washbasins:
- Ceramic – 5 years
- Ceramic ones with the Protect package purchased – 7 years
- Conglomerate – 5 years
- For faucets:
- Cast of the faucet body – 5 years,
- Head (provided that heads with filters are fitted) – 2 years,
- Chromium-plated surface – 2 years,
- Painted surface – 1 year,
- Other rubber seals, 2-function showerheads – 1 year;
- For accessories excluding dispensers – 2 years.
- For Dispensers
- INOX and copper – 2 years
- Chrome, gold, beige, black, and graphite – 1 year
- The guarantee period starts upon the date of handing the product over to the Consumer.
THE GUARANTOR’S RESPONSIBILITY
- The guarantee includes all factory defects of Products discovered in the guarantee period that the manufacturer is responsible for.
- The Guarantor’s responsibility for the granite Sinks includes all their structural material defects, i.e. decolorisations and internal cracks in the Sinks and deformations developed during the manufacturing process, provided that they do not constitute a defect or fault of the Sink and are not subject to this guarantee as a result of the technological process:
- warps and/or variations in thickness of up to 2.5 mm as warps that can be compensated for by a proper fitting of the Sink
- Warps and/or variations in thickness over 2.5 mm identified after fitting the Sink
- The Guarantor’s liability for the Washbasins covers their structural material defects, i.e. discoloration and cracks in the Washbasins.
- The Guarantor’s responsibility for the Accessories includes ensuring their completeness, structural material defects, in particular:
- for kitchen faucets – completeness of the set, tightness of the faucet body, efficiency of the head, durability of the coating, durability of hoses and seals,
- for siphon traps – completeness of the set, efficiency of the mechanism in automatic siphon traps, tightness of the system and seals,
- for dispensers – completeness of the set, efficiency of the mechanism, tightness of the system, durability of coating.
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
- The Guarantor is liable for the Product defects which occurred for reasons other than inherent in the Product upon its handover to the Consumer.
- The guarantee does not include maintenance activities that might be performed by the Consumer, described in the installation manual, for example, cleaning, decalcification, routine surface maintenance, and care for the Product.
- The Guarantor shall not be liable for defects caused as a result of:
- Wilful mechanical, thermal, or chemical damages,
- Incorrect installation or dismantling of the Product leads to its damaging, including inconsistency with the instructions or improper punching or drilling of holes, for example, knocking out or drilling holes after installing the granite sink.
- Adaptations and repairs completed not by Primagran’s instructions,
- Use of unoriginal parts upon installation, disassembly, or repair of the Product,
- Inappropriate maintenance and care, in particular use of incorrect cleaning agents,
- Other defects caused by the Consumer’s failure to apply due care,
- High contamination of water or installation leading to the Product’s damage,
- The use of Products or parts thereof, for instance, parts of a drainer or an accessory pocket in a way not by their purpose,
- The use of Products as the consequence of normal use.
- The incompleteness of the Product should be notified by the Consumer not later than 14 calendar days after the handover of the Product. Notification of the product’s incompleteness after this time excludes the Guarantor’s liability.
- The Guarantor shall not be liable for any damages to persons or property which might be caused by any of the reasons described in this paragraph.
- The warranty does not cover the defects of sinks which constitute the basis for qualifying a given sink as a category B Product and, as a result, reduce the selling price of a given sink.
- The warranty does not cover mechanical damage, damage caused by improper use, intentional or accidental damage, damage caused by negligence, damage resulting from normal wear and tear, or damage caused by abrasions or scratches, including those resulting from moving other kitchen accessories on the surface of the sink.
COMPLAINT PROCEDURE
- Submission of complaint
- Complaints are to be submitted immediately upon the discovery of the defect.
- The complaint notification should contain at least:
- Consumer’s details (name, surname, contact data),
- the name of the Product that the complaint refers to,
- proof of purchase (invoice), including confirmation of purchase of a lifetime guarantee – if applicable,
- a detailed description of the defect with supporting photo documentation,
- If any shortcomings are discovered in the complaint notification pursuant to par. 7.1.2, the Guarantor shall call the Consumer to supplement these within the time set by it, not shorter than 7 days. In such a situation the time for the Guarantor’s examination of the complaint shall extend respectively by the time of waiting for the supplementation.
- The Consumer should send the complaint notification to the Guarantor:
- by e-mail to the Guarantor’s e-mail: info@primagran.com or
- in writing to the address: Primagran sp. z o.o., Żuławki 15c, 82-103 Stegna, Poland.
- The Guarantor examines the complaint within 14 calendar days as of its receipt and sends the reply to the Consumer to their address with information about:
- acceptance of the complaint and the way of its handling, or
- refusal of the complaint with its grounds.
- Rights
- The guarantee rights include:
- repair of the Product or
- replacement of the defective Product with a new one – free from defects, or
- refund of a part of (discount) or the entire price paid by the Consumer.
- The Guarantor reserves the right to choose the way of defect removal from among the options specified above.
- If it is impossible to replace the defective Product with a Product free from defects the Consumer is entitled to the refund of the price paid.
- The Guarantor does not bear the costs of disassembly and reinstallation of the Product and is not responsible for any damage caused during these activities.
- The condition for the issuance of the new Product or refunding the price is a prior return to the Guarantor of the complete defective Product at the Guarantor’s cost. The returned Product should be properly secured. Returns should be made to Magazyn (Warehouse) Primagran, ul. Tczewska 24, 83-000 Pruszcz Gdański, Polska
- Accepted defects will be removed at the Guarantor’s cost within 14 working days of the date of complaint acceptance. If it is necessary to import spare parts the Guarantor reserves the right to extend the above-stated time upon prior notification of the Consumer thereof.
UNJUSTIFIED COSTS
All costs of unjustified complaints shall be borne by the Consumer under this
Guarantee.
CONSUMER’S OBLIGATIONS
Detailed rules of installation, maintenance, and operation are presented in
the Installation manual. The Consumer is obliged to read the terms of the
guarantee and installation manual and to observe these.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- The consumer may, for a fee, extend the guarantee on the body of the granite sink to the lifetime guarantee by purchasing the lifetime guarantee when purchasing the granite sink.
- The consumer may extend the warranty for the Ceramic Washbasin up to 7 years for a fee by purchasing the Protect package when purchasing a certain Ceramic Washbasin.
- If the complaint is accepted and the Product is replaced, the guarantee period starts anew. If the Guarantor replaces a part of the Product the guarantee period starts anew only for this replaced part of the Product.
- The guarantee period shall extend by the period for which in the result of the defect of the Product under guarantee the Consumer could not use it.
- This Guarantee for Products in no way excludes, limits, restricts, or suspends the Consumer’s rights resulting from the provisions on warranty for defects in sold goods or on the Seller’s liability for non-conformity of goods with the Agreement
