Product Usage Instructions

Aerofresh 60

The Aerofresh 60 is a decentralised heat recovery unit that
provides continuous ventilation for a fresh and comfortable indoor
environment. To install, follow these steps:

  1. Choose the suitable external spacer box based on your wall
    thickness (190mm for walls 110mm to 240mm thick, or 60mm for walls
    240mm to 300mm thick).

  2. Mount the Aerofresh 60 units in synchronised pairs for balanced
    ventilation.

  3. Ensure proper installation of the regenerative ceramic core
    heat exchanger with high thermal efficiency.

  4. Use the Aerofresh 60 Remote Control for full control of the
    unit.

  5. Refer to page 14 of the user manual for technical
    information.

Aerofresh 180

The Aerofresh 180 is a compact, energy-efficient HRV unit
suitable for small apartments or units. To install, follow these
steps:

  1. Mount the Aerofresh 180 horizontally in the ceiling for
    in-ceiling installation.

  2. Ensure proper installation of the counter-flow heat exchanger
    with up to 80% efficiency.

  3. Change filters through the ceiling access panel, installed by
    the builder.

  4. Use the Aerofresh 180 Controller, a multi-function remote
    control panel with LCD display, for operation.

Aerofresh 280

The Aerofresh 280 is a compact, energy-efficient in-ceiling heat
recovery and cooling system suitable for medium-sized apartments
and houses. To install, follow these steps:

  1. Mount the Aerofresh 280 in the ceiling for in-ceiling
    installation.

  2. Ensure proper installation of the heat recovery and cooling

Q: What is the purpose of a heat recovery ventilation

A: Heat recovery ventilation systems recover thermal energy from

Heat recovery ventilation units recover thermal energy from the air inside your home and use this to pre-condition fresh filtered supply air drawn in from outside. In winter this increases the temperature of the supply air, while in summer this reduces the temperature of the supply air.

AEROFRESH 60
The Aerofresh 60 decentralised heat recovery unit provides continuous ventilation to ensure a home feels fresh and comfortable to live in. Home occupants can enjoy a healthier indoor environment as the Aerofresh will improve the air quality, while being energy efficient to run and very simple to operate. The Aerofresh 60 units are installed in synchronised pairs to provide balanced ventilation (non pressurised) and promote higher levels of air circulation.

· Alternating exhaust/supply air flow direction (“push-pull”) ensures efficient energy recovery and air circulation
· Sleek modern internal diffuser is easily removed for cleaning

AEROFRESH 60 HRV UNITS

Regenerative ceramic core heat exchanger with high thermal efficiency

Balanced energy recovery mode
Aerofresh 60 is installed as two synchronised units, providing the home with pre-conditioned fresh air.

How it works
· Aerofresh 60 units are installed in pairs in separate habitable rooms. Do not use in wet or odorous rooms (as this can circulate moisture and odour)
· Both units alternate their air flow direction every 70 seconds (approx.) and are synchronised with each other so while one unit is exhausting air the other is supplying air into the home
· The Aerofresh unit transfers the thermal energy from air inside the building to the incoming fresh air
· Helps maintain healthy indoor air as well as prevent condensation and mould growth
· 8 to 10mm door undercut allows air flow when doors are closed
· When installing in a bedroom, ensure to position away from bed heads

It provides a well-ventilated indoor space with simple and quiet operation while recovering thermal energy from wet rooms like kitchens and bathrooms that would otherwise be lost. This heat is transferred to the fresh, filtered supply air drawn in from outside. It is achieved by using a highly efficient counter-flow heat exchanger with up to 80% efficiency.
Filters are changed through a ceiling access panel and must be installed by the builder.

The Aerofresh 240 is a compact, energy-efficient HRV unit designed for medium- sized apartments or houses. It will be typically mounted upright in a cupboard.
It’s a highly efficient, simple-to-operate system that improves indoor air quality and comfort. During the exhaust air process, the Aerofresh 240 extracts heat energy that would otherwise be lost and transfers it to fresh, filtered supply air drawn in from outside. This is accomplished by using a highly efficient counter-flow heat exchanger with up to 80% efficiency.
Changing of filters is easily done by lifting off the front panel and removing push fit filter covers. No need to use a step ladder.

The Aerofresh 500 is the largest HRV unit in the range and is designed for medium to large sized homes with high energy efficiency. It is an upright, cupboard-mounted system.
It offers market-leading efficiency with up to 80% heat recovery, low noise generation, and reduced power consumption. Temperature sensors enable the unit to automatically adjust to changing conditions, ensuring low maintenance and trouble-free operation.
The Aerofresh 500 extracts the heat energy, which would have otherwise been lost through the normal exhaust processes, and transfers it to fresh, filtered supply air drawn from outside.
