Safety Instructions and Attentions

First of all, as the most basic principle: This product is a professional lighting set of equipment and should be used by professional lighting engineers or under the guidance of professionals. Basic safety attentions must always be followed during use, as follows: Before use, please read and understand these instructions and attention.

Professional lighting is prohibited for children. When children are near, parents or
accompanying persons must Supervise closely to prevent children from a personal injury due to collision with lamps or private use of lamps. This lighting product is not ordinary lighting product and cannot be used for general
lighting. Anyone who has suffered eye damage or has sensitive eyes should avoid using this product. When the lamp is on, it must be used with care. Do not tOuch high-temperature parts,
Such as LED lamp beads, to avoid burns. When the lamp is on, it is forbidden to look directly at the lamp beads under any
circumstances. Strong light should be used under the guidance of professional lighting engineers. Avoid prolonged exposure to strong light under any circumstances. If eye discomfort, please turn off the lamp in time, suspend use, and see a doctor immediately. If the lamp bead is damaged or deformed by heat, stop using this equipment, and
contact the manufacturer, service agent or qualified maintenance personnel to replace the lamp bead in time to avoid accidents. This product is only suitable for use in -T0C to 40C operating environments and
normal humidity environments. Do not use damaged equipment or accessories, and wait for professional maintenance
personnel to check and repair to confirm being normal before use. During use, if the casing of this product is broken due to being dropped, squeezed
or subjected to strong impact, please do not use it, so as to avoid electric shock injury due to contact with internal electronic components. If an extension cord is required, please use an extension cord with a current rating
greater than or equal to that of the equipment. If an extension cord is rated less than the equipment, overheating may result. Some products have long power cords, please place the power cords properly and
keep them in a sate place. Avoid contacting the power cord with overheating surfaces, avoid improper placement that could cause pulling damage, or trip on-site personnel. Please use the certified power cord from the original manufacturer. If the product is damaged by using a non-certified power cord, t will not be repaired by our factory.
Be sure to unplug equipment from the power outlet before cleaning and repairing it. When not in use, do not pull the power cord to unplug the equipment. For normal power-off, please hold both ends of the plug of the equipment with your hands and pull the plug out of the power outlet. This equipment needs to be connected to a grounded outlet.
This equipment is not waterproof, please keep it dry and do not immerse it in water or other liquids. The equipment should be installed ina dry and ventilated place, and avoid using it in rainy, humid, dusty or overheated environments. Do not place any objects on the lamp or let the liquid flow into the lamp to avoid accidents.
Do not disassemble the product without permission. If the product fails, it must be checked and repaired by author|zed maintenance personnel.
Before storing, make sure that the equipment has cooled down completely. For storage, unplug the power cord from the equipment. The equipment should be placed in the carrying case or in a ventilated dry place.
Do not place equipment near flammable and volatile solvents such as alcohol and gasoline.
Do not use accessories that are not recommended by our factory to avoid fire, electric shock or personal injury.
When cleaning, do not wipe it with a damp cloth, please use a dry cloth or a soft cloth to wipe the dirt of the equipment.
Please take off the protective cover before using it.
This product complies with ROHS, CE, and FCC certifications, please refer to the relevant national standards for use and operation.
The safety instructions are formulated according to the strict testing of the factory, and the design and specifications of the equipment are subject to change without prior notice. For latest product information, please check the GODOX website and view the latest electronic instructions.
Some products have built-in lithium batteries. Please use specified chargers, and use them within a proper range of the specified voltage and temperature according to the correct operating instructions.
Some products are battery-powered. Do not use any batteries, power sources or accessories not specified in the instructions for such products. Keep batteries and other accessories out of the reach of children and infants. In the instance that a child or infant swallows a battery or accessory, immediate emergency medical attention is required. If the battery leaks, becomes discolored, deformed, emits smoke, or emits an abnormal odor, remove it immediately. Be careful during removal to avoid burns. Continued use could result in fire, electric shock, or burns. Do not use any deformed or modified batteries. Do not disassemble or modify this product or battery. Do not heat or solder the battery. Keep the battery away Trom Tire or water. Do not incorrectly insert the positive and negative ends of batteries, or mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types together
One-year warranty period, accessories such as consumable batteries, adapters, power cords, etc. are not covered by this warranty.
If it is found that the equipment is repaired without authorization, the one-year warranty period will be cancelled and relevant fees will be charged for maintenance.
Machine failures caused by non-standard operation are not covered by the warranty.

Thank you for purchasing this Godox Product! These TL series RGB Lights are brand new multifunctional RGB lights with dual color temperature and high light brightness. Suitable for almost all shooting occasions e.g. streaming, portrait shooting, wedding, etc. It’s portable and easy to be operated with various control methods.

Warning

Always keep this product dry. Do not use in rain or in damp conditions.
Do not disassemble. should repairs become necessary, this product must be sent to an authorized maintenance center
Keep out of reach of children.
As this product do not have a waterproof function, please take measures of waterproof in rainy or damp environment.
Do not use the flash unit in the presence of flammable gases, chemicals, and other similar materials. In Certain cirCumstance, these materials may De sensitive to the strong light emitting trom this flash unit, and fire or electromagnetic interference may result.
As this product has a built-in lithium battery, do not disassemble, impact, squeeze or put it into fire. If a serious bulge occurs, please do not use. Do not use or store the product if the ambient temperature reads over 40°C. Please charge the product with the included adapter and correctly operate it within the defined voltage and working temperate according to the instruction manual.

Power Supply
The built-in lithium battery can offer portable operation once got fully charged. The light can also put into usage by connecting the adapter to a power source.
Charge
The charge grids indicator will be blinking in charging while displaying full grids once got fully charged.

Operation

Power Switch
Use the power switch to control the on or off of the RGB tube light. Then, the current information will be displayed on the LCD panel.

Mode Selection: Bi-color Mode/RGB Mode/Special Effects Mode

Bi-color Mode
Color temperature adjustment: press the “+”or”-“button to adjust the color temperature from 2700K to 6500K.

Brightness adjustment:short press the DIM button, then, press the “+ or ” button to adjust the brightness from 0 to 100.

RGB Mode
Adjust hue H: Short press the FN Button and H is selected. Then, press the “+” or “-” button to adjust the hue from 0° to 360. Godox-TL180-RGB-Tube-Light-

Special Effects Modes (39)
Press the “+” or “-“button to choose different special effects categories from 1 to 14. And the modes will display circularly by turning the selector dial.

Control Modes Selection: Bluetooth/2.4G Wireless /DMX Control

Press the wireless button first, then, press the “+” or “button to choose the control mode. After choosing the mode, press the FN or wireless button to enter the relevant setting interface.

Bluetooth Setting

Bluetooth switch: Short press the FN button to select the Bluetooth. Then, press the “+” or “button to switch on or off. If’ON” is displayed, the Bluetooth is on and “OFF” means off. When the Bluetooth is on, the indicator will turn to blue.
Initialize the Bluetooth password: Short press the FN button to select RESET. Then, press the “+” or “-” button to reset the Bluetooth.
Bluetooth Number: MAC: XXXX is the Bluetooth number of this light.

4G Wireless Setting With 2.4G wireless system, RGB tube light has remote grouping and control function. It is recommended to purchase RC-R9 remote control(optional) to achieve wireless control. Up to 6 groups of LED lights can be controlled. 32 channels and 99iDs are available with strong anti- interference capability.

4G Wireless switch: press the FN button to select ON/OFF Then, press the “+”or “-“button to switch onor off off 2.4G wireless. “ON”means 2.4G wireless is turned on(wireless indicator is lightened green), “OFF” means turned offwireless indicator is put off).
Chanel setting: press the FN button to select CH. Then, press the”+or “-” button to select 32 channels from 1 to 32.
Group setting: press the FN button to select GR. Then, press the “+”or “” button to Select b groups fromA to F.
ID setting: press the FN button to select ID. Then, press the “+”or “”button to select 99 IDs from 1 to 99.

Note When opening the Bluetooth and 2.4G simultaneously, the indicator will turn to cyan. Please make LED lights channel, group and ID to the same as remote controls. The RGB tube light can only receive wireless signals in powered-on status.

DMX Control Modes

Press FN button to choose L/F, then press”+” or “-” button to choose F(FOLLOW mode), the indicator will display blue.
Press FN button to choose MOD,then press”+” or “-“button to choose CCT-HSI 8bit or ULTIMATE 8bit.
After choosing MOD mode, press FN button to choose ADD from 001 to 512
After set ADD, connect one end of the DMX cable to DMX output port of controller and the other end to DMX input port of the light.

DMX LEAD and FOLLOW mode

Press FN button to choose L/F, then press”+” or “-” button to choose L(LEAD mode).
Set other lights to F(follow mode)(No need to set ADD).
Connect the lights with RJ45 cable.
The lights in FOLLOW modes will automatically synchronize the light in LEAD mode.

Note: When using LEAD and FOLLOW modes through DMX port, the quantity of light in FOLLOW modes cannot be over 18.

Color Gel Setting
Press the color gel button to enter the interface. Then, press the “+”or “-” button to choose R-Gel or L-Gel group. Then, press the FN to enter the color gel group to select the corresponding color gel. There are both 20 color gels in R-Gel and L-Gel groups for your choice, 40 kinds in total. Godox-TL180

Connect with Smartphone APP

Set the Bluetooth to ON.
As there is a QR code on the light body please scan the QR code directly to download the “GodoxLight” smartphone APP(can be used by Android and Apple systems).

For more smartphone APP operations, please open the “help” in APP to gain detailed guidance.

Note: the first mobile device (mobile phone or tablet) can directly use the APP to control the light body. When replacing other mobile devices (mobile phones or tablets), the lamp body can be connected normally after Bluetooth reset. RGBW mode is available in APP control of IL series tube lights.

Maintenance

This product, except consumables e.g. adapter and adapter cable, is supported with a one-year warranty. Avoid sudden impacts and the product should be dedusted regularly. Maintenance of the flash must be performed by our authorized maintenance department which can provide original accessories. Unauthorized service will void the warranty. If the product had failures or was wetted, do not use it until it is repaired by professionals. Changes made to the specifications or designs may not be reflected in this manual.

How to Get the Maintenance Service
If maintenance service is needed, you can directly contact the product distributor or authorized service institutions. You can also contact the Godox after-sale service call and we will offer you service. When applying for maintenance service, you should provide valid warranty card. If you cannot provide valid warranty card, we may offer you maintenance service once confirmed that the product or accessory is involved in the maintenance scope, but that shall not be considered as our obligation.

Inapplicable Cases

The guarantee and service offered by this document are not applicable in the following
cases:

The product or accessory has expired its warranty period;
Breakage or damage caused by inappropriate usage, maintenance or preservation, such as improper packing, improper usage, improper plugging in/out external equipment, falling off or squeezing by external force, contacting or exposing to the improper temperature, solvent, acid, base, flooding and damp environments, etc, .
Breakage or damage caused by non-authorized institution or staff in the process of installation, maintenance, alteration, addition and detachment; .
The original identifying information of the product or accessory is modified, alternated, or removed;
