Product Usage Instructions

Adjusting the Stem

1. Turn the stem’s lock nut clockwise until it loosens.
2. Adjust the length of the stem to a comfortable position, ensuring that the search coil is at an optimal distance of around 1/2 to 2 inches above the ground.
3. Re-tighten the stem’s lock nut counter-clockwise to secure it in place.

Adjusting the Search Coil

1. Loosen the knobs at the search coil.
2. Rotate the coil angle until it is parallel with the ground.
3. Tighten the knobs just enough to prevent the search coil from rotating or wobbling.

Installation of Battery

1. Loosen the screw with a screwdriver and remove the battery compartment cover.
2. Identify the polarities of the 9V battery and the polarities marked inside the compartment.
3. Insert the battery into the compartment in the same direction as indicated by the marks.

Operation

• The detector operates in motion detection mode. To find metal targets, you need to move the coil or move the metal sample above the coil.
• Sweep the search coil in a side-to-side motion.
• Take your time during the search to avoid missing any targets. Avoid sweeping the search coil as if it were a pendulum.

Operation

2. Push the power switch ① to turn on the detector. At this time, green LED lights. This means the detector is ready for operation. Meanwhile LCD displays . Slide down the power switch to turn off the detector.
3. Hold the detector in a comfortable position with the search coil in parallel with a flat surface where there are no metal objects.
4. Place a sample of coin on the ground, sweep the coil in side-to-side motion to find the sample.
5. During searching, LCD displays . When the detector finds a metallic object, red LED lights, beep sounds will be heard and LCD displays .
6. When LCD displays , replace the battery.
