Weather station

Function description: ·

• 7 keys: DOWN, MODE, SNOOZE/LIGHT, CHANNEL, UP,
• ALERTS, MAX/MIN
• 5-day weather forecast and highest/lowest temperature forecast
• time, date display
• comfort level display
• triple alarm modes: weekday/weekend/daily alarm modes which could be set via indoor unit or APP; APP can support separate setting of the day.
• Indoor/outdoor temperature alert, support indoor unit or APP setting
• support indoor unit or APP setting for / switch
• history records of MAX/MIN temperature/humidity, could be checked via indoor unit or APP.
• RF 433MHz outdoor temperature and humidity display, up to 3 outdoor transmitters’ receivable

Operation instruction:

Basic operation:

• Press MODE to switch the alarm time display: current time → AL1 → AL2 → AL3 cyclic display
• Under time display mode, press and hold MODE more than 3 seconds to enter time setting.
• Under Alarm time display mode, press and hold MODE for more than 3 seconds to enter alarm time setting.
• Press ALERT button to turn on/off the alert.
• Press and hold ALERT for more than 3 seconds to enter alert setting.
• Press MAX/MIN button to view Max/MIN records of temperature/humidity.
• Press and hold MAX/MIN button for more than 3 seconds to clear MAX/MIN records.
• Press DOWN to switch temperature units: ℃/℉
• During setting, press UP or DOWN button to increase/decrease for one, press and hold UP/DOWN button to increase/decrease quickly.
• Press and hold CHANNEL for more than 3 seconds to clear the data of channels.
• When it’s powered by batteries, press SNOOZE/LIGHT button to turn on the backlight for 10 seconds.
• When it’s powered by USB cable or adaptor, press SNOOZE/LIGHT button to turn on/off the backlight.
• Press and hold SNOOZE/LIGHT for more than 3 seconds to enter network configuration state.

Time setting

• Press and hold MODE button to enter time setting in sequence: year month date 12/24HR mode hour minute exit.
• Press UP or DOWN button to set the data, press MODE to confirm and go to the next setting.
• Without any button operation in 10 seconds, exit the setting automatically and setting data saved.

Alarm setting

• Press MODE to switch to alarm mode in sequence: A1 → A2 → A3
• Under alarm display mode, press UP or DOWN to turn on or off the alarm.
• Under alarm time display mode, press and hold MODE for more than 2 seconds to enter alarm setting in sequence: hour minute alarm modes selection exit.
• Alarm modes: daily alarm (mo-su) weekday alarm (mo-fr) weekend (sa.su).
• During setting, press UP or DOWN button to set.
• After alarm setting, the alarm will be on.
• Without any button operation in 10 seconds, exit the setting automatically and back to normal time display mode, setting data saved and alarm is turned on.

Temperature alert

• Press ALERT to turn on/off the alert,  appears on the screen, it means the alert is turned on.
• Press and hold ALERT for more than 3 seconds to enter alert setting:
• Press channel to select the channel, total 3 channels
• Setting in sequence: highest temperature of indoor → lowest temperature of indoor → highest temperature of outdoor → lowest temperature of outdoor.
• Press UP or DOWN to set the data.
• Without any button operation in 10 seconds, exit the setting automatically and setting data saved.

MAX/MIN data:

• MAX/MIN records of temperature and humidity will be cleared and re-recorded at 0:00 every day.
• Press MAX/MIN to switch in sequence: current temperature/humidity → MAX records of temperature/humidity → MIN records of  temperature/humidity current → temperature/humidity.
• When MAX or MIN temperature/humidity displayed, press and hold MAX/MIN for more than 3 seconds to clear the data, –.displayed for 3 seconds and then back to current temperature/humidity display.
• When MAX or MIN data displayed, without any button operation in 10 seconds, exit the setting automatically and back to the current temperature/humidity display.

Network settings:

• Press and hold SNOOZE/LIGHT for more than 3 seconds and enter network configuration setting.
• The network configuration will last 5 minutes, please do it within 5 minutes.
• The other operation could be finished via APP.

Sound:
A. When alarm is working, there are 4 alarm format:

• 1-10 seconds: BI per second
• 11-20 seconds: BIBI per second
• 21-30 seconds: BIBIBIBI per second
• After 31 seconds: a series of BI sound
• Alarm symbol keeps flashing
• The alarm will last for 2 minutes
• If the time of 2 alarms conflicts, the new alarm will work instead of the old alarm.
• During alarming, press SNOOZE to enter snooze with an interval of 5 minutes.
• Press ALARM to turn off the alarm.
• Under snooze mode, press any other button to cancel the snooze.

Alert:

• When temperature alert is working, the symbol or keeps flashing.
• The buzzer will BI once every second and it will pause for 50 seconds when it keeps working for 10 seconds, and this will last for 5 minutes.
• Press any button to stop the alarm, the relative temperature, and alert symbol will keep flashing till the temperature data is within the setting range.

Temperature and humidity function

• Indoor temperature range: 0–50, tolerance ±1
• Indoor humidity range: 25%-95%, tolerance +/-5%, display range 1%-99%
• Outdoor temperature range: -35-60, tolerance ±1
• Outdoor humidity: 25%-95%, tolerance +/-5%, display range 1%-99%

Network configuration
Please source and download the software “TUYA” from APP store or scan the below QR code for download, then register as a user.

Press and hold “SNOOZE/LIGHT” for more than 3 seconds to enter WIFI network configuration, Keeps flashing on the upper left corner. It supports 2.4G wifi, 2.4G/5G mixed wifi, but doesn’t support 5GHZ wifi.

When you need to use the mobile hotspot as a WIFI connection, please use another mobile phone to turn on the personal hotspot in the settings. And connect to the hotspot and open the “Tuya Smart” APP to operate. Open TUYA smart APP, clock + at upper right corner and add the device page. If you choose automatic discovery, you will find a “weather forecaster” and click “Add” or “Next”.

After input the password of WIFI, click CONFIRM to enter network configuration mode, then enter product management interface.

After connecting the WIFI, the device will get the weather forecast information of the location and upload the corresponding local information such as temperature and humidity to the APP interface, like below:

The alarm, temperature alert, temperature unit and MAX/MIN records of temperature/humidity could be set or check via APP.
Remarks: the installation of indoor unit should be less than 2 meters.”
