Device efficiency

To improve the efficiency of the Dehumidifier:

  • Do not cover the air inlet and outlet.
  • Do not place the unit in front of curtains to ensure they do not obstruct the air intake.
  • To get maximum performance, close all doors and windows when using the Dehumidifier
  • Make sure the temperature meets the basic requirements: a temperature ≥15°C and ≤40°C.
  • Make sure that the rear air inlet and side air outlet are not blocked when the Air Dehumidifier is operating.
  • When using the Air Dehumidifier, make sure that the unit is placed 50 cm away from the wall and kept horizontal.
  • Always keep the Air Dehumidifier upright to prevent leakage.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

  • The Dehumidification performance is affected by many factors, such as ambient humidity, temperature, room size, airflow rate (windows or doors closed or not), and so on.
  • The most suitable humidity for a human being is 45% -65% RH.
  • Probably the most important factor that can affect the effectiveness of the Dehumidifier is the rate at which new moisture-laden air enters the room and the amount of air circulating in and out of the area to be dehumidified.
  • For example, if a door to a basement is constantly opened, allowing new moisture-laden air to enter the room, dehumidification will take longer than if the door were left closed.
  • If the Dehumidifier is in a room with a storage cabinet or cabinets, it will have little or no effect on drying the inside of the storage cabinet or cabinets unless there is adequate air circulation in and out of these areas.
  • To dehumidify these areas, open the storage door or cabinet doors to allow air circulation.
  • You may need to install a second Dehumidifier for larger enclosed spaces.

Troubleshooting

The Dehumidifier is not working..

  • Check that the device is connected to power.
  • Check that the water tank is properly inserted.

The Dehumidifier is not dehumidifying / no water is being collected.

  • Check that the Dehumidifier is turned on.
  • Check that the water tank is full.
  • Check that the working environment is within the operating temperature range (≥15 °C and ≤40 °C).
  • Check if the air inlet is blocked or if the unit is too close to the wall.

Cleaning

  • Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
  • A soft dry cloth is recommended for cleaning the exterior of the Dehumidifier.
  • Be careful not to apply too much pressure on the buttons while cleaning.
  • Pull out the water tank to clean the water tank. Use a slightly damp cloth to clean.
  • Do not immerse the Dehumidifier in water or other liquids. Do not rinse the unit with water to prevent water from leaking into the electrical circuit and causing malfunctions.
  • Under no circumstances use aggressive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, as they may penetrate the housing or affect its functionality.
  • Do not use abrasive objects for cleaning.
  • Cleaning should not be performed by children.

Maintenance & service

  • The dehumidifier is maintenance-free except for cleaning.
  • You must not reconstruct, repair or disassemble the Dehumidifier yourself.

  • Do not store the Air Dehumidifier in extremely high or extremely low temperatures. This may damage the unit.

  • Protect the unit from vibration and shock during transport.
