Display Issues
If you are unable to see anything on your monitor, follow these steps:

1. Ensure all devices and cables are undamaged and working properly.
2. For phones, make sure DP Alt Mode is enabled. For PCs and laptops, ensure Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3.1 GEN 2 is supported.
3. Connect the USB C to HDMI cable directly to your devices. Do not use it with a hub.

Resolution Issues
If you are unable to get 8K@60Hz, follow these steps:

1. Check if both your input and output devices support 8K@60Hz. If  not, the maximum resolution will be limited to 4K@60Hz.
2. Adjust the display settings on your output devices to enable 8K@60Hz.

Screen Flickering
If your screen is flickering, try the following steps:

1. Connect the USB C to HDMI cable to different USB C ports or reconnect everything on your device.
2. Restart your device.
3. If using a Mac, try resetting the SMC (System Management Controller).
4. Ensure the cable is not connected through a hub and clean the connection points with cotton swabs or soft cloths if necessary.

Bi-Directional and Charging Capability
This USB C to HDMI cable is unidirectional and does not support charging. It is designed specifically for video transmission.

Clam Shell Mode
This cable supports Clam Shell Mode. For more information, visit https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202351. Please ensure that your MacBook is connected to a power supply when using Clam Shell Mode.

Cable Heating

2. If you cannot find your devices on the list, here are the requirements for different devices. For Phone/Tablet, please make sure your device supports DP Alt Mode. For PC/Laptop, the USB C port should be Thunderbolt 3/4 or at least to be USB 3.1 Gen 2 with DP Alt Mode.

Why can’t I see anything on my monitor?

1. Make sure all devices and cables are working normally without damage.
2. Ensure that phones have DP Alt Mode enabled, while PCs and laptops support Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3.1 GEN 2. Check the official website of your devices or contact support@uniaccessories.com for more information.
3. Connect the product directly to your devices and avoid using it with a hub.

Why can’t I get 8K@60Hz?

1. Make sure both input and output devices support 8K@60Hz, or you can only get 4K@60Hz if one of your devices only supports 4K@60Hz.
2. Check if both input and output devices support 8K@60Hz. If one  device only supports 4K@60Hz, the maximum resolution will be limited to 4K@60Hz.
3. Ensure that your output devices are adjusted to display 8K@60Hz. You can modify the display settings on your monitor to achieve this.
