Setting a Preferred Softphone in Jabra Direct

To set a preferred softphone in Jabra Direct, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Install Jabra Direct

If you haven’t installed Jabra Direct yet, please download and install the latest version from the official Jabra website.

Step 2: Connect the Jabra Link 230 USB Adapter

Connect the Jabra Link 230 USB Adapter to your computer using a USB port.

Step 3: Launch Jabra Direct

Launch the Jabra Direct application on your computer. You should see the main interface of the software.

Step 4: Select the Jabra Link 230 USB Adapter

In the Jabra Direct application, locate and select the Jabra Link 230 USB Adapter from the list of connected devices.

Step 5: Access Device Settings

Click on the “Device Settings” tab to access the settings for the Jabra Link 230 USB Adapter.

Step 6: Set Preferred Softphone

In the “Device Settings” tab, navigate to the “Preferred Softphone” section. Here, you can select your preferred softphone from the available options.

Jabra Direct – current version

If you have multiple softphones installed, you can use you select preferred device. Follow these steps:

1.  Open Jabra Direct.
2. Click Settings in the left menu.
3. In Softphone Integration (Softphone Integration) > Preferred  Softphone (Preferred Softphone) select your preferred device.

If your company manages this setting centrally, this will indicated by a lock symbol.
