YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Electrical appliances may expose people to hazards that can cause severe injury as well as death. The use of electrical products may create hazards that include, but are not limited to, injury, fire, electrical shock and electrical system damage. These instructions are intended to provide you with the information you need to use the product and to avoid such hazards.

When using electrical appliances , basic precautions should always be followed to reduce risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons including the following:

  • Read all instructions before using this heater.
  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces, use handles when moving this heater.
  • Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
  • Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids, and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
  • Always unplug heater when not in use.
  • Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner Return heater to manufacturer has been dropped or damaged in any manner.   • For residential use only.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Do not use in outdoors.
  • It is normal for the plug to feel warm to the touch; however, a loose fit between the AC outlet (receptacle) and plug may cause overheating and distortion of the plug. Contact a qualified electrician to replace loose or worn outlet.
  • To disconnect the heater, first turn off the product, then grip the plug body and pull it from the wall outlet. Never pull by the cord.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire or damage the heater.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint or flammable liquids are used or stored. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
  • Always plug heater directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
  • Never tamper with this product or attempt to fix it. Any tampering with, or modification of this heater can result in serious injury, death, or fire. Risk of electric shock. Do not open. No user serviceable parts inside.
  • This heater is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Place the heater on a firm, level, open surface free from obstructions and at least 3 feet (0.9m) away from any combustible materials. DO NOT use on an unstable surface such as bedding or deep carpeting. Be sure the heater is not in a position where it may be tripped over by small children or pets. The heater’s rubber feet will hold it firmly in position.
  • If your home has aluminum wiring have a licensed electrician check your receptacle’s connections. When using a 1500-watt heater, aluminum wire connections can cause a safety issue.
  • Before cleaning, or storage, or when not in use, turn the product’s controls to the OFF position and unplug the heater from the electrical outlet and allow to cool.

OPERATIONS

  1. Read the user manual carefully and keep it for future reference.

  2. Place the heater on a firm, flat, open surface free from obstructions and at least 3 feet (0.9m) away from any wall or any combustible material.

  3. Plug into a polarized AC 120V-outlet.
    BE SURE THAT THE PLUG FITS TIGHTLY INTO OUTLET.
    When the plug fits loosely into receptacles, it may slip partially or completely out of the receptacle with only the slight movement of the attached cord. Receptacles in this condition may overheat and poses a serious fire hazard; if covered by a curtain or drape, the fire hazard is even greater.

  4. Press the button to power on the unit, and it enters HI mode(1500W).

  5. Press the M button to set to HI mode (1500W), LO mode(750W), ECO mode or Fan mode, at the same time, the corresponding icon will light up. (In HI, LO or ECO mode, the setting temperature will not change, in Fan mode, only icon lights up and the unit outputs cool wind.)

  6. Press the button, the “00” and “H” will flash, press the button to set timer from 01,02,03……to 12, wait about 5S, the timer is set. To check the left timing, press the button, the left timing will display in whole number. Eg: 1 and half hour, it will display 2H.
    To cancel timer, press the button and set to “00”H, wait a few seconds, the icon will disappear. Another way is holding the button to cancel timer.

  7. Press or hold the or button to set to 41-95 Fahrenheit, “TO” and “”F” will flash the same time, “TO” stands for the setting temperature.

NOTE:

A: In HI or LO mode(here we use T for ambient temp., TO for setting temp.)

  • When TOT, the unit stops heating and enters standby mode in 30S.
  • The unit will read the temperature every 10S.
  • When T≤ (TO-4)°F, the unit recovers from standby mode and starts heating automatically.

B: In ECO mode(here we use T for ambient temp., TO for setting temp.)

  • The unit will decide the working mode according to the ambient and setting temp.
  • The unit will read the temperature every 5 minutes.
  • When T≤(TO-3)°F, the unit will work in HI mode.
    When (TO-3) ‘F <T<TO, the unit will work in LO mode.
    When T TO, the unit will stop heating output, and enters standby mode in 30S.
    When T≤(TO-2)°F, the unit recovers from standby mode and starts heating automatically.

OVERHEAT PROTECTION

  1. A thermal overload protector is built in at the top of the heating panel, if the heater is obstructed or blocked at front panel and rear ventilation panel by the curtain, drape or cotton sheet etc., the thermal overload protector activates to prevent overheat.
  2. When the internal temperature of the heater reaches up to 122 Fahrenheit which may cause fire hazard, the heater will be shut off automatically. It can ONLY resume operation when the user resets the unit.

To Reset Heater:

  1. Unplug the heater and wait about 15 minutes until the heater cooling down.
  2. After the heater has cooled down, plug the unit into a 110-120V electrical outlet again and follow the operation instructions described in this manual.

TIP-OVER PROTECTION

A tip-over switch is placed at the bottom of the heater, when the heater is taken away or knocked over by pets or human, the heater will be shut off automatically to prevent burning combustible materials.

MAINTENANCE

Daily Maintenance:

  • Before cleaning, turn OFF the heater and unplug from the electrical outlet and wait it to cool down.
  • Carefully wipe the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Please be very cautious near the motor and heating panel.
  • Do not immerse the heater in water.
  • Never use gasoline, benzene or thinner. This will damage the surface of the heater.
  • After cleaning, be sure to completely dry the unit with a cloth or towel.

Storage Maintenance:

  • Store heater in a cool and dry location with power cord properly secured. Please store the heater in its original carton or suitable container.

Are there any overheating protection measures?

Yes. Thermal overload protector is built in this heater. If the heater is overheated, it will automatically shut off, it's a safety protection. When this situation happened, pull out theplugfor 15-30 minutes and plug in again to restart the heater thermal overload protector.

If the heater is tripped over, will it automatically be shut down?

Yes. There is a tip-over switch at the bottom of the heater, when the heater has been lifted and leaves from its position or is tripped over, it will be automatically shut off.

Why sometimes the heater suddenly shut off and even the power indicator

went out?

A. This 1 year limited warranty applies to repair or replacement of product found to be defective in material or workmanship. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from commercial, abusive, unreasonable use or supplemental damage. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you also may have other rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of this product from the original date of purchase.

B. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from any unauthorized attempts to repair or from any use not in accordance with the instruction manual.

C. Please be sure to specify a model number and order ID.
