Smart-AVI RKT16-HDX100 Rack 16 Port HDMI Extender
OVERVIEW
The RKT16-HDX100 is the perfect solution for extending HDMI signals to a remote location up to 150 feet away. It is the ideal way to consolidate up to sixteen workstation computers into one location. It is fully compatible with MAC, PC, and LINUX HDMI standards. Up to sixteen displays can be extended easily from a rack without the mess or expense of multiple extenders. Rather than buy multiple extenders for rack components, and having to find power strips or numerous power outlets for the adapters, the SmartAVI rack series of extenders allows for up to sixteen inputs sixteen outputs, and one power supply.

HARDWARE INSTALLATION
-
Power off the HDMI source and display.
-
Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI source to the HDMI IN port of the RKT16-HDX100 transmitter.
-
Optionally connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI OUT port of the RKT16-HDX100 transmitter to the local HDMI display.
-
Connect the RKT16-HDX100 transmitter to the HDX-RX100 receiver using a CAT5e/6 cable (up to 150ft).
-
Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI OUT port on the HDX-RX100 receiver to the HDMI display
-
Connect the power on the RKT16-HDX100 transmitter by plugging in their power adapters (12VDC2A) or provide 12VDC input from the rear DC input port.
NOTE: If the RX side has a connected DC adapter, TX can get the DC power over the CAT5e/CAT6 cable, so leave the DC input port empty. Only 1 power supply is required for both units. (In certain cases, if the receiver has too much drop-off power, we recommend connecting a 12V DC power supply to each receiver -
Power on the HDMI source, displays, and speakers. The RX will read the EDID from the monitor, and then pass the data into the TX automatically.
INSTALLATION NOTE
Do not stack receiver units. Stacking inhibits heat distribution.
