The Low Profile Satdome Adapter is designed for use with AMA18 vend AMA24 models. It is made of high-quality materials for durability and stability. The adapter allows for easy installation of satellite domes on boats and other marine vessels. It comes wit hall the necessary parts and tools for installation.

Installation Instructions

Marking the Holes
Using a marker or pencil, mark the four holes and center cable hole on the desired location for installation.
Drilling the Holes
Using a 5/16″ (8mm) drill bit, carefully drill the four base bolt holes and the center cable hole according to the markedpositions.
Applying Adhesive Sealant
Peel off the clear protective cover on the mount if it hasn’t been done already. Apply marine adhesive sealant to the base of the mount, ensuring that it goes around the base holes.
Mounting the Base
Align the four mounting holes on the adapter with the drilled holes on the surface. Secure the mount down using four bolts and washers of your own hardware. Apply marine adhesive sealant to the threads of the bolts.
Routing Cables
Route the cables through the Low Profile Adapter, ensuring they are properly connected and secured.
Applying Foam Gasket
Apply the foam gasket provided with the mount to the top of the mount. This will help provide a secure and watertight seal.
Mounting the Satellite Dome
Place the satellite dome onto the mount, making sure that the four mounting holes on the dome line up with the corresponding holes on the mount.
Securing the Dome
Using four bolts and washers of your own hardware, secure the satellite dome to the mount. Apply marine adhesive sealant to the threads of the bolts for added security.

For additional adjustability, you can consider purchasing the Wedge accessory (AMA-W), which fits all Low Profile Satdome Adapters and allows for 0 – 12 degrees of adjustment.

Installation Instruction

Mark the four holes and center cable hole for drilling.
Using a 5/16” (8mm) drill bit, drill the four base bolt holes and center cable hole.
Use a 1½” to 2” (38mm to 50mm) hole saw for the center cable hole.
Peel off the clear protective cover on the mount. This may have already been done for you.
Apply marine adhesive sealant to the base of the mount. Be sure to go around the base holes.
Align the four mounting holes.
Using your own hardware secure the mount down with four bolts and washers. Apply marine adhesive sealant to the threads.
Route cables through the Low Profile Adapter.
Apply the foam gasket to the top of the mount.
Mount the satellite dome to the mount, make sure that the four mounting holes line up.
Using your own hardware secure the satellite dome to the mount using four bolts and washers. Apply marine adhesive sealant to the threads of the bolts.
