REAR INTERFACE DESCRIPTION

Green and Black: AII positive and negative wires should not touch each other after connected. It is best to use connector or tape to isolate them or use wire harness adapter (Highly recommended!), so as to avoid accidental contact between the positive and negative wires during startup and cause a short circuit.

Note

1. Each wire of the speaker cables cannot be grounded or shared. Don’t touch each other, otherwise there will be no sound output.
2. NC= No Wire

TEST

• A quick simple test before the installation is to confirm the size and the device is working normally. In case there is a wrong step in the subsequent installation that can cause further failure.
• If you perform a successful test but the unit did not work after installing it, please re-check the installation steps.

Installation Video

Warning: All positive and negative wires should not touch each other after connected. It is best to use connector or tape to isolate them or use wire harness adapter (Highly recommended!), so as to avoid accidental contact between the positive and negative wires during startup and cause a short circuit.

Note

1. Each wire of the speaker cables cannot be grounded or shared. Don’t touch each other, otherwise there will be no sound output.
2. NC= No Wire

Warning: Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery before beginning any installation.

TEST

A quick simple test before the installation is to confirm the size and the device is working normally. In case there is a wrong step in the subsequent installation that can cause further failure. If you perform a successful test but the unit did not work after installing it, please re-check the installation steps.

Step1: Check the size

• The opening of your Console

Note: If you find that the unit is not suitable for your car, please consider these four methods. You may need Three aftermarket accessories to complete your installation:

1. Double DIN dash kit for (your car model). You may or may not need the Trim Ring.
2. Wire harness (Connects car wiring to stereo wiring) for (your car model).
3. Antenna adapter for (your car model). You can find the correct aftermarket accessories by searching the year, make, and model of your vehicle on Amazon or Google.
4. Otherwise, you may need to polish the original frame of your car.

Step2: Test car stereo

1. The red and yellow wires of the car stereo combine together firstly, and then connected to the positive pole of the battery.
2. The black wire is connected to the negative pole of the battery.
3. 2 seconds later, check the car stereo, if the screen is on, it means the car stereo is properly functioning.

Step3: Test rear view camera

Holding the Step 2 connection and then the (12) orange and black (RESERVE-IN) wire is connected with the top red wire of the rear view camera, The Red1 wire and the Red2 wire of the rear view camera combine together and then connected to the A (which the red and yellow wires connected to the positive pole of the battery). The Black1 wire of rear view camera is connected to (15) (which the black wire is connected to the negative pole of the battery). At this time , if the camera lights up, and the car stereo shows the reverse image, it means rear view camera is proper functioning.

Note

• This is the wiring for test of Rear View Camera only.
• If your car does not intend to use the rear-view reversing function, please keep disconnecting the (12) part to avoid disturbing the normal use of the car stereo.

INSTALLATION

After completing the steps of the test, the car stereo is ready to be installed in your car.

Step 1: Wiring

Method 1: Using AFTERMARKET RECEIVER WIRE HARNESS (for your car model). Please refer to below picture.

Note

When installing an aftermarket receiver you will match the functions of the aftermarket wire harness with that of the aftermarket receiver. The wire colors of your new receiver may, or may not, match the wire colors of the aftermarket harness. The aftermarket harness will include a key that indicates the wire color and function, you will match these with the aftermarket radio harness by function. These connections must be soldered and insulated to prevent accidental shorts. Insulated crimp connectors are also suitable.

Method 2: Using POWER CABLE INCLUDED.

WIRE CONNECTION OF REAR VIEW CAMERA

• Combine the Orange and black (RESERVE-IN) wire of the car stereo with the top red wire of the rear camera
• Combine the two red wire together and connect it to the positive pole of the reversing headlight
• Connect the Black1 wire to the negative pole of the reversing headlight

WIRING OF STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS

1. Just connect the swc wire of your vehicle to the key1 or key2 wire of this unit. Please before the wiring of steering wheel controls. Note: If the swc is digital signal output( controled by CANBUS), need to buy a swc adapter that can convert digital signal to analog signal.

Please refter to Page 20 to check the setting.

Note: You may need double DIN dash kit for (your car model).

CARPLAY/ANDROID AUTO FUNCTION

MIRROR LINK FUNCTION

Note: This function allows your mobile phone to directly project the screen to the car stereo, so it is called the mirror link function. But this function is not suitable for phones which with too high resolution and version. For example, the mobile phone with the following three conditions.

If the Mirron link does not work,

1. Shut down and restart the phone
2. Change a USB cable, preferably the original USB cable.

Mirror Link for IPhone

Note: If your phone is iphone IOS 15.3 or above the phone link function won’t work.

1. Only when the display mode of the phone is on” landscape”, then the display of the car stereo can be displayed in full screen.
2. Bluetooth must be connected, then the audio on the mobile phone can be synchronized to the car stereo.
3. When the phone screen is turned off, the display of the car stereo will also be turned off at the same time.

1. Use the original data cable to connect the car stereo and mobile phone with.
2. When the phone pops up a dialog box: “Trust This Computer? ”, Select “Trust” to enter the interconnect mode.
3. Match the Blue tooth if you need to use the audio

Mirror Link for Android

Note: If your phone is running Android version 10.1 or above the phone link function won’t work.

1. Only when the display mode of the phone is on” landscape”, then the display of the car stereo can be displayed in full screen.

2. Bluetooth must be connected, then the audio on the mobile phone can be synchronized to the car stereo.

3. When the phone screen is turned off, the display of the car stereo will also be turned off at the same time

4. Find”System”on your phone setting.

5. Find the “About phone” and click Enter. Click on the “Build number” continuously until the phone screen displays “You are already a developer”.

6. Go back to the “System” interface, find “Developer options”, and click Go to find “USB debugging” and turn this feature on.

BLUETOOTH CONNECTION

• Device Name: Carkit
• Pin Code: 0000

Connection Method:

1. Power on the machine and turn it on.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth function on the mobile phone. Click Search Device, when the mobile device list searches for the Bluetooth device name of tge current machine. Click the device name to connect. When the display is successful, you can use it.
3. After successful Bluetooth connection, the BT icon in the upper right corner will turn blue. Then you can operate more functions.

If some parts cannot be operated or used properly, it may be due to imperfect connection.
Please delete (unpair) the connected Bluetooth name of the mobile phone, and then search for the device again and connect it. Generally, the problem can be solved.

SETUP MENU FUNCTION INTRODUCTION AND OPERATION

STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS

1. Just connect the swc wire of your vehicle to the key1 or key2 wire of this unit. Please refer to before the wiring of steering wheel controls.
   • Note: If the swc is digital signal output( controled by CANBUS), need to buy a swc adapter that can convert digital signal to analog signal.
2. In the “setting” interface, find “Steering Wheel Controls” and enter.
3. Enter the steering wheel control learning interface and press the button to learn. After the learning is successful, click the “confirm” button on the page. After saving, you can use the buttons on the original steering wheel to control the machine.

Learning method: press and hold a button on the steering wheel of the original car without letting go, find the button icon corresponding to the function of the button on the steering wheel of the machine. Click this icon to change the color, indicating that button has been successfully learned, according to the same way in which you can learn other buttons. After all the keys have been learned, click the “confirm” button on the page to save the settings. If you need to re-learn, please click the “RESET” button.

2. Constract: Screen contrast adjustment.
3. Saturation: Screen saturation adjustment.
4. Hue: Screen hue adjustment.
5. Reset: Touch the button to restore all settings of the current page to their original state.
