Product Usage Instructions

Installation

To ensure safety, please follow these steps for installation

  1. Turn off the electricity to the fan at the main fuse box or circuit panel.
  2. Connect the supply of receiver (Model: XL001) through a main switch, such as an existing wall switch.
  3. Disconnect power supply at the wall switch before working on the remote control receiver or ceiling fan.
  4. Install the receiver into the ceiling fan canopy to ensure proper protection.

Usage

To use the remote controller (Model: XL002) with your ceiling fan, follow these instructions:

  1. Ensure that the battery in the remote controller is not weak or leaking. If it is, replace the battery with a new one. Dispose of used batteries properly and keep them out of reach of children.
  2. To control the fan motor, use the buttons on the remote controller. The maximum load for the fan motor is 150W.
  3. To control the LED light, use the dimming buttons on the remote controller. The maximum load for the LED light is 70W, and you can adjust the brightness from 20% to 100%.
  4. The remote controller has a control distance of more than 12 meters.

FAQ

  • Q: Can I use this product with a rheostat wall control?
    A: No, this product should not be used in conjunction with any variable (rheostat) wall control to reduce the risk of fire or injury.

  • Q: Can I use this remote controller with other ceiling fans?
    A: No, this remote controller (Model: XL002) is only compatible with this particular ceiling fan.

  • Q: What should I do if the battery in the remote controller weakens or leaks?
    A: Replace the battery with a new one before it starts leaking. Dispose of used batteries properly and keep them out of reach of children. Please refer to the graph in the manual for the model and orientation of the battery.

  • Q: What is the maximum load for the LED light and fan motor?
    A: The maximum load for the LED light is 70W, and the maximum load for the fan motor is 150W.

CEILING FAN REMOTE CONTROLLER OPERATION AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Warning: To reduce the risk of electrical shock, please turn off the electricity to fan at main fuse box or circuit panel before installing or servicing the fan or accessories.
IMPORTANT POINTS TO REMEMBER:

  1. Read and save these instructions.
  2. Please note that all wiring appliances should be installed by a qualified electrician.
  3. The supply of receiver (Model: XL001) should be connected through a main switch, i.e. existing wall switch.
  4. Disconnect from power supply at wall switch before working on remote control receiver or ceiling fan.
  5. Install receiver into the ceiling fan canopy of fan to ensure proper protection.
  6. This unit is to be used for ceiling fan control and in a AC110V/120V 60Hz power supply only. Max load 70W for LED light, max 150W for fan motor.
  7. This remote controller (Model: XL002) is only for indoor use and only compatible to this particular ceiling fan.
  8. Do not pull on or cut wire(s) shorter.
  9. Do not drop or bump the unit.
  10. PLEASE NOTE: The battery will weaken with age and should be replaced before leaking takes place as this will damage the remote controller. Dispose of used battery properly, keep the battery out of reach of children. Model and orientation of battery, please refer to below graph.
  11. CAUTION: To reduce the risk of fire or injury, do not use this product in conjunction with any variable (rheostat) wall control.
