OMIEBOX STORY

When founder Nancy Yen’s son started preschool, he decided to stop eating lunch. A picky eater who ranked in the lowest percentiles for weight and height, he refused to touch his lunch unless it was warm – like the lunches he was used to at home.
Nancy searched high and low for a container that could pack hot lunch (plus it had to store cold food and be easy to use!). When she couldn’t find anything, she decided to create it herself. What began as an invention of necessity is now OmieBox® – one of the most highly recognizable & best selling bento boxes for kids in the world.
