7. Low Battery Voltage Alarm.
When the battery voltage is lower than the working voltage, the device will
sound an audible alarm of “di” every minute. After the second alarm, the
device will be turned off automatically.
Indication of CO Concentration
According to different carbon monoxide concentration, the device will display a colored alarm icon on the screen or sound an audible alarm:
Green: 0-50 ppm, safe.
Yellow: 51-100 ppm, ventilation required.
Orange: 101-200, ventilation required.
Red: 201-1000 ppm, dangerous.
51-100 ppm: The alarm sounds 3 times every 3 minutes: di-di-di.
101-200 ppm: The alarm sounds 5 times every 3 minutes: di-di-di-di-di.
201-1000 ppm: The alarm sounds continuously. You can press the S button to
stop the alarm.
Note: If the gas sensor doesn’t work, the screen shows 9999 and the alarm sounds 10 times every 30 seconds.
Standard of CO Concentration
The Occupational Safety and Health Regulations of the U.S. Department of Labor state that carbon monoxide levels in any enclosed space shall be maintained at no more than 50ppm. If the carbon monoxide concentration exceeds 100ppm, employees must be relocated.
Principle of CO Detection
This product detects the carbon monoxide in the air through the built-in ectrochemical gas sensor. It can detect the weak current generated by the electrochemical reaction quickly and accurately, and then indicate the real- time value of carbon monoxide concentration on the LCD screen.
