Basic instructions

  • Thank you for choosing Briwellna products. For better use of this product, please read the instructions carefully before use, pay special attention to the following safety precautions, and save this manual for future reference.
  • The product may be upgraded and the specifications and parameters may be updated without prior notice. Appearance, colors and accessories of the product displayed here are for illustration only.

Safety Precautions

  • Please refer to technical parameters in this Manual and check that the electricity meter and the cross-sectional area of the power supply wire meet the requirements of the product.
  • Do not power the product with a power strip or removable socket. This product can only be used with reliable grounding connection.
  • The product should not be installed in a freezing environment. Use this product only under a temperature above 0℃.
  • The product can not be installed outdoors or near inflammables or strong magnetic field.
  • Please supply water first and check that the water comes out normally before powering this product on for the first time after installation or after a long time without use.
  • If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced at the service agency designated by our company to avoid danger.
  • Unauthorized non-professional maintenance personnel are not allowed to repair, maintain or disassemble this product.
  • If the product fails while under use, it should be stopped immediately, and professional maintenance personnel or the manufacturer should be contacted to solve the problem.

Product functions
This water heater is suitable for hot water bathing and washing services in houses, enterprises and other public services.

  1. Equipped with the latest integral cast aluminum heating technology, this water heater produces instant hot water without storing water, preheating devices or an attemperator, saving power consumption, water, time and space. It can be shut off by turning off water or power supply.
  2. The intelligent energy-saving microcomputer control produces hot water of desired temperature.
  3. Standby intelligent memory of the previous operation saves repeated operations.
  4. The product is equipped with multiple protection functions including automatic detection and automatic fault alarm.
  5. Smart protection functions protect the product from leakage, over-temperature, dry heating and over-pressure.
  6. The product can be installed at any angle and the display will be adjusted when the product is installed upside down.

Usage

  1. Connected to a mixed tap in the kitchen or the toilet (FIG. 1 and FIG. 2)

Steps of installation

  1. Check whether other required parts meet the requirements for the installation of this product and whether the main unit and accessories are in good condition.

  2. Check that the wall can stand twice the weight of the product.

  3. Check locations of the water pipe and power supply and find the best location to install the product.

  4. Find the points to fix the product by referring to the dimensions of the product and positioning diagram.

  5. Solution 1

    • Drill holes with a Φ6 drill bit at the identified points on the wall to install the product. The two holes shall be at least 38mm in depth. Insert the expansion pellets, gently tap them in with a hammer, and fix the screws.
    • Solution 2
      Fix the hook at the identified points in the wall. This solution is not applicable if the wall is uneven or with falling ashes.
  6. Installation of the main unit (FIG. 3)

  7. Install the temperature control valve at the cold water inlet;

  8. One end of the T-junction should be connected to the tap water interface, one to the temperature control valve, and the last to the cold water inlet;

  9. One end of the hose should be connected to the hot water outlet of the main unit, and the other to the hot water inlet (or the sprinkler hose);

  10. Disconnect the power supply and connect the main unit to the power supply.

  11. Fix the main unit on the hook on the wall.

  12. Supply water first after installation and check that the water comes out normally before powering this product on.

Instructions for use

Switch on and off

  1. After powering the product on, the buzzer will buzz once and the screen will display all elements for 1 second, then goes off.
  2. When the product stands by, gently touch the power button to start. If no further operation is performed within 2 seconds, the light will blink for 3 seconds, and then the screen shows the temperature of the hot water. If there’s no water flow, the screen will display the symbol “–“.
  3. Touch the power button to shut down the product when it is powered on.

Adjust the water temperature

  1. The water temperature is adjusted by adjusting the temperature control valve which controls the inlet flow of tap water. (The temperature control valve should be adjusted according to the environment and the season. But it is advised not to adjust the valve frequently).
  2. Touch the temperature control key to set the water temperature with the temperature setting range between 30℃ and 55℃.

Constant temperature correction

  1. If the constant temperature function does not work satisfactorily, hold down the power button for 3 seconds while hot water flows out. The product will enter the automatic constant temperature correction stage. At this stage, the temperature display will keep flashing until the constant temperature correction finishes and the product returns to normal operation. Press the power key to stop the correction process.

Product warranty

If your product goes abnormal, please follow instructions in the Common Faults and Troubleshooting Methods. If the abnormality remains, please contact our service agency. You may alternatively call our after-sales service department, providing the following information

  • Description and model of the product, date of purchase, description of the abnormality, your name, telephone number and mailing address.

We provide warranty service for our products sold through formal channels for one year from the date of purchase (entered in the purchase record). During the warranty period, we will not provide warranty service for products if

  • The product is damaged due to human errors (e.g. drop, collision, etc.);
  • The product is damaged in an event of force majeure (earthquake, fire, freezing, etc.);
  • The product is damaged by improper installation, use, maintenance or storage by the consumers;
  • The model of the product is not the same as documented or is altered. In all the listed cases, we provide paid services.

Common faults and troubleshooting methods

1. Leakage at the inlet or outlet pipe connection

2. Blank display screen|

3. Button failure|

4. Too high water temperature|

  • The temperature is set too high
  • The water flow is too small

  • Adjust the temperature setting
  • Increase the water flow

5. Too low water temperature|

  • The water flow is too large
  • The temperature is set too low
  • Heater failure

  • Reduce water output
  • Adjust the temperature setting
  • Send the product to service agency for service

6. Small hot water flow|

  • The water inlet filter is blocked
  • Too low tap water pressure

  • Increase the water pressure

7. The screen displays “E1”| Warning of over- temperature| Restart the product. If the same message is displayed repeatedly, send the product to the service agency
