Getting Started

Charging
Fully charge the charging case before the first use. To charge, connect the case to a USB charger or charging port with the included USB-A to C cable to charge the charging case. When the LED charging indicator on the outside of the case changes from flashing blue to solid blue, the case is fully charged. Charging may take 1.5 hours, then case can offer fully charge to the earbuds 3 times. The earbuds should be stored in the case when not in use.

Note

  1. Remove the protective file from the earbuds when using for the first time.
  2. Using an adapter with an output voltage higher than 5V may not charge the battery or damage the device.

USB-C Charging Port

Turning On / Off

Turn On| Open the lid of the charging case and take both earbuds out, the earbuds will automatically power on. To manually power on, tap and hold the touch-sensitive panels for 5 seconds until the LED indicator ashes blue and the voice guidance says “power on”.

Turn Off| Return both earbuds to the charging case and close the lid, the earbuds will automatically power off. To manually power off, tap and hold the touch-sensitive panel for 5 seconds until the LED indicator ashes red and the voice guidance says “power off”. When the earbuds are not worn for about 5 minuts after being removed from the charging case, the earbuds turns off automatically.

Pairing
Starting with the earbuds in the case:

  1. Open the lid of charging case and take both earbuds out, they will automatically turn on, indicators on both earbuds will flash blue and red alternately, and then enter pairing mode, the slave earbud indicator will be off.
  2. Turn on the pairing function via BT on the device you want to pair with the earbuds
  3. From the list of available devices, find and select “ YYR SONA R1”. After the connection is successful, the master earbud indicator will be off

Regular Use After Pairing
Once the earbuds are successfully paired with your device, they can be switched on and off as follows:

  • Open the lid of the charging case and take both earbuds out, then both earbuds will turn on and connect with each other automatically
  • To turn off, put the earbuds back in the charging case and close the lid, They will begin charging

Using the Left / Right Earbud
Starting with the earbuds in the case:

  1. Take the left/right earbud out
  2. Turn on the pairing function on the device you want to pair with the earbud
  3. From the list of available devices, find and select “ YYR SONA R1”

Note

  • When you turn on the earbuds, they will be automatically reconnect-ed to the previous-paired device or enter pairing mode if no paired device is found
  • Either left or right earbud can be used individually once connected to your device when you keep the other one inside the charging case The wireless operating range is 10m (33ft). If you exceed this range,
  • the earbuds will lose connection with your paired device. The connection will be re-established if you re-enter the wireless range within 5 minutes. Or the earbuds will be switched off automatically after 5 minutes

Reset the earbuds

  1. Put the earbuds into the charging case, make sure the charging case is fully charged, and then take out the left and right earbuds.
  2. Quickly tab the touch keys on the left and right earbuds for 6 times, and this will clear the pairing records on the device.
  3. Put them back into the charging case to charge, then take out the earbuds for re-pairing and connecting.
  4. If the reset is unsuccessful, repeat the above steps.

Controls & LED Indicators

Streaming Audio
Once paired, you can wirelessly stream audio on your device via earbuds. Music will automatically get paused when you receive an incoming phone call and will be resumed once the call ends.

Play or pause music Tap the touch-sensitive panel once on either earbud
Skip to previous track Long press 2s on the L earbud

Taking Calls

Answer a call Triple-tap the touch-sensitive panel on either earbud

FAQ

The earbuds are on, but not connecting to my device For the earbuds and your device to establish a connection, you need to put them both in pairing mode. Please follow the instructions in the Pairing section of this manual.
I’ve connected the earbuds with my smartphone but can’t hear any sound
Double-check the volume level on your smartphone and the earbuds. Some smartphones require you to set up the earbuds as an audio output device before the audio can be transmitted. If you’re using a music player or other device, please make sure it supports the A2DP profile. The sound isn’t very clear or the caller can’t hear my voice clearly Adjust the volume on your smartphone and the earbuds. Try moving closer to your smartphone to rule out the possibility of interference or wireless range-related issues.

What’s the wireless range of the earbuds?
The maximum range is 10m (33ft). However, the actual range depends on environmental factors. For optimal performance, keep your device connected within a range of roughly 4m to 8m and make sure that there are no major obstacles (like reinforced steel walls) between the earbuds and your device.
The earbuds won’t turn on
Try cleaning the charging the charging pins and then charging the earbuds for a while. If the earbuds still won’t power on, please contact our support team at the email address given in ‘Warranty & Customer Support.’
I put the earbuds back in the charging case, but the earbuds are still connected The charging case is probably out of power. Try charging it.

Do not remove or replace the product battery unless doing so is specified in the User Manual or in the Quick Start Guide, or you might damage the product.

Safety Rules

  1. Do not disassemble or refit the earphone for any reason as you may damage it or void the warranty.
  2. Avoid contact with liquid to avoid serious damage to the earphone. The manufacturer does not cover water damage.
  3. Avoid temperatures above 75 degrees and below minus 40 degrees.
  4. Keep the indicator light away from children’s and animals’ eyes.
  5. Do not use this product during thunderstorms to avoid electric shocks.
