Matters needing attention:

  1. Solar panel: charge the camera; please install it in places under di ecosan light (Otherwise, the camera may have insufficient power supply);
  2. Network distribution and working status indicator: The blue flashing slowly means the network configuration mode, if the blue is alwayson, pressthe power button twice to enter this mode, then go to connect.
  3. Power Button : Press and hold to turn on /off camera, press twice to enterthe network mode to be configured
  4. Reboot Hole: The camera restarts with a power cut. If the camera does not respond after a long press on the power button, try pressing thisbutton(generally not recommended)
  5. Micro SD card slot: up to 128G are supported ( Note :Once insertedintothe device, the Micro SD card can be formatted via the app)
  6. Power connector : Connected to a solar panel or connectedtoa power adapter for charging

Warning :

  1. Please keep the product out of the reach of children.
  2. Only use a 5V-1.5A power adapter to charge the rechargeablebattery, using improper charging methods may damage the product
  3. Do not charge the product near a fire source
  4. If the product is left unused, place it in a dry environmental room temperature

Camera Specifications:

Camera Charging

Please use a 5V-1.5A power adapter to fully charge the camera. After connecting the solar panel and camera , the camera canbeautomatically charged by solar panel energy.
Please Note :

  1. The solar panel can be disassembled and moved to any sunnyplace.(please install it in places under direct sunlight,otherwise solarpanelsmaynot be able to charge the camera)
  2. If it is cloudy and there is no sun, the camera can also be chargedthrough the Power adapters. There is a USB interface on the backofthedisassembled machine.
  3. Be sure to keep the interface connecting the camera and thesolarcablesealed to prevents water ingress.

Installation

I. Select the appropriate mounting position – orientation for thecamera.PIR infrared sensors are more sensitive to lateral movement through the camerascreenthan longitudinal motion, so when installing, it is necessary to consider that thedirection of object movement is as transverse as possible.Installation

NOTE:

  1. Support WI-FI connection (2.4G) ,also The camera is installedcloseto the wifi, enables stable transmission of video data from the camera.
  2. In order to prevent the camera from falling after the connection ssuccessfull please don’t forget to tighten the screws.
  3. In addition, if there are too many motion detection alarms and you don’ twant to continue receiving push notifications, you can choose or educe motion detection sensitivity or turn off message notifications

Device Connection :

Please search ‘ VicoHome’ in the APP store for iPhones and the Google play for Android phones for downloading, or scan the QR code as shownbelowtoinstall the APP. Or go to the link to download and install the App : https://www.vicohome.io/download/
After successful installation, please set your camera according to the following steps

  1. After installing the APP, please register and log in to your account.
    (Note: Choose the right area; Only register by email, and you havetogotothe email to check the verification code)

  2. Insert the Micro SD card
    First open the rubber plugs at the bottom of the camera, insert themicroSDcard into the card slot. (SD card may need to be formattedviaapp)

  3. Turn on Camera: ( Press and hold the power button)
    After the camera is turned on, blue light flashing, indicatingthat thecamerahas entered the setting state (if not, please hold and press againorshortthepower button twice).

  4. Setting Camera

    • Make sure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi is available andconnectedto the Internet.

First Way:Using Bluetooth add the device
Open ‘VicoHome’APP, click’Add camera now’
,press andhold the powerbutton to turn on the camera, check if you hear the sound andcheckit,clickNext step to searching for activated devices (As below picture).

Choose your devices, the page jumps to the interface for enteringthewifiname and password. Click on the right to select the network(as shownin Figure 5) and enter the password. ( Please note that only 2.4GHWi-Finetwork is supported )

When you hear the prompt tone, it means that the scan is successful, andthepage will have a prompt about the wifi signal strength. The cameraisconnected successfully.

Second Way:scan the QR code add the device
Device Description
At this point, the page jumps to the interface for entering the wifi nameandpassword. Click on the right to select the network (as showninFigure4)andenter the password. ( Please note that only 2.4 GHWi-Fi networkissupported )
Aim the QR code of the mobile phone at the camera and keep it 6-12in (Figure 5)

Possible problems with binding:

  • When you hear the “Wi-Fi Password Error” please checkwhether the Wi-Fi password you entered in the App is correct;
  • When you hear the “Authentication error” , please ensure that your Wi-Fi network is not an enterprise-level network, andthedevicesupports only the network with the security level below WPA-2;
  • When you hear the “Wi-Fi not found” , please check whether you select or enter the correct Wi-Fi name, and place the device near the Wi-Fi router and ensure that the routerispoweredon. Please note that 5Ghz Wi-Fi cannot be searched by the device;
  • When you hear the “Retrieving IP timeout” , it indicates that the number of devices connected to the router in your home is too many to connect more devices. Please remove someof theconnected devices that are not commonly used or restart the routertoclearthe unconnected devices. You may need to contact the router administrator;– When you hear the “Cloud service connection fail” , please check whether your router is connected properly to the external network. When you hear this error prompt,it is common on the condition of network disconnection or that theselectedrouter in your home is a local area network server. Please ensurethatthenetwork connection is normal, and try to temporarily turn off the firewall to connect again.

    Cloud Storage: We provide each user with 3 days within 2 years of free storage service, automatic loop coverage mode, which means that you will beable to within 2 years view the videos of the last 3 days for free.

    Include Motion Detection, AI Analysis Notification, setting Activity Zone, Sleeps lettings. Firmware Information, SD Card management. Audio settings, Advanced settings, share, Removed camera. For the lighting setting, you can setting the night version to IR light or whit light.

A: The built-in infrared lamp beads make the camera only show some dim red lights when night vision is activated, but the image quality is still clear under no light environment.

4. Q:What are the requirements for Wi-Fi?

A: Please use a 2.4GHz wireless network. The device does not support the 5GHz wireless network. Meanwhile, please set the Wi-Fi authentication method to WPA2-PSK or other lower level of security method. A password is required.

7. Q:What should I do when the device is in malfunction?

A. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to restart it. If there is no response, you can remove the rubber plug at the button of the camera. Press the reboot hole with a pointed object to restart thecamera.
