BEZIA WM-02 Waffle Maker Double

Please read through the following safety precautions carefully before switching on this appliance.

SAFETY

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

Children shall not play with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless older than 8 years old and supervised.
  10. The appliance is not intended to be operated using an external timer or a separate remote-control system.
  11. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating. Do not touch hot surfaces.
  12. Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Cool down before putting on or taking off parts of equipment, and before cleaning it.
  13. Note: Make sure the voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the device. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.

Operating instructions

  1. Uncoil the cable completely.
  2. Check if the heating plates are clean and dust-free. if necessary, wipe them with a damp cloth.
  3. Place the device on a flat stable surface to make free space around the device at a minimum oflOcm. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
  4. Close the appliance
  5. Connect the plug to the rated voltage, the appliance begins preheating and the indicator light is illuminated. green light goes out this appliance is ready to cook.
  6. Open the appliance and place your food on the lower plate.
  7. Close the appliance and lock the handle.
  8. Open the appliance when check whether the toasted bread is sufficiently “brown” The cooking time required to obtain crisp brown bread depends on the type of bread, filling and your taste.
  9. After toasting, open the lock to remove your food with a wooden or plastic spatula.
  10. After using, pull out the plug and open the upper lid to let it cool.

Note: Do not pour more than 85ml of waffle mixture; it will overflow.

Caution
Depending on the thickness of your food, takes approx.5-8 minutes.

  1. The first heating process should take place without any foodstuffs, let it heat for about ten minutes. There may be a slight development of smoke or smell. This is normal and harmless.
  2. If too much food is inserted into the appliance, which cannot be closed, never close it with undue force as this could damage the lock.
  3. Never use a sharp fork or knife to remove the food as this would damage the non-stick coating of the cooking surface. Use heat-resistant wood or plastic utensils only.
  4. Always unplug the appliance from the power socket when not in use.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the appliance to cool down.
  • Wipe the inside and the edges of the appliance with a paper towel or a soft cloth
  • Do not clean the inside or outside with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool as this will damage the finish.
  • Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
