Common problem
How to connect the app?
First, open the APP, select “Device” at the bottom, and then click “Add
Device” to enter the “Add Device” page; select the watch Bluetooth in the
list, and you can connect successfully.
Note: Before connecting, please check whether the paired watch still
exists in the Bluetooth of the mobile phone. If so, please delete the pairing
information and then pair it again.
The Bluetooth connection is often disconnected; how to solve it?
The watch and Runmefit App need to do the following settings to ensure the standard Bluetooth connection:
-
Please upgrade the watch and Runmefit App to the latest version;
-
Please make sure that the Bluetooth switch of the watch and mobile phone is turned on;
-
Please turn on the mobile phone GPS switch, and open the Runmefit App in the mobile phone settings to obtain the location permission;
-
Open the App to see if it can connect automatically. If it can be connected automatically, it is usually because the Runmefit App fails to run generally in the background of the phone. The Android phone needs to add the Runmefit App to the secure background application. If the mobile phone has other restrictions on the activities of the Runmefit App, please remove them together.
If you cannot reconnect, please try the following methods:
a. Restart the mobile phone’s Bluetooth to reconnect.
b. Restart the watch to reconnect.
c. Restart the phone to reconnect.
d. Re-pair the connection after the App is unbound.
-
If the above methods cannot solve the problem, please restore the watch to factory settings, and check whether the paired watch still exists in the Bluetooth of the mobile phone. If there is, please delete the pairing information and then pair it again.
The watch cannot receive message notifications.
Please follow the steps below to check your phone settings:
-
Please check whether the watch and Runmefit App are the latest versions; if not, please upgrade to the newest version first.
-
Please check whether the Bluetooth connection between the watch and the mobile phone is standard and whether the data can be synchronized through the Runmefit App.
-
Please check whether the message notification switch is turned on in the Runmefit App notification. Next, you need to select the application switch that needs to push messages on the message notification interface.
-
Please check whether the watch has the Do Not Disturb mode turned on. When the Do Not Disturb mode is turned on, the message will not vibrate to remind you. You can check whether the Do Not Disturb mode is enabled on the device page.
-
The message push function can only push the information from the status bar of the mobile phone to the wearable device; please ensure that the message can be made to the status bar of the mobile phone. Android users (taking EMUI 9.0 as an example): Open the phone’s Settings > Notification Center to find the corresponding app, turn on the Allow Notifications switch, and turn on the Display & Banner & Lock Screen Notifications switch on the status bar in the new message notification.
iOS users: Select Phone Settings > Notifications, select the appropriate app, turn on the Allow Notifications switch, and ensure the Show in Notification Center switch is turned on. -
Please add the Runmefit App to background protection.
Android users (take a Huawei phone as an example): Turn on the app self-start and associated startup switches in Phone Manager > Permission Management, and turn off the Runmefit App switch in Phone Settings > Battery > Lock Screen Cleanup Apps; if you are in Phone Manager
If the Runmefit App cannot be found, it means that the Runmefit App has been added to the background protection allowlist by default, and no additional settings are required, but please confirm whether other housekeeper apps are installed on the phone. If there are other housekeeper apps, please add the Runmefit App to the other housekeeper apps. They protected background apps. -
Please allow the system Bluetooth pairing when connecting. IOS13.0 and above will pop a window to enable the device to display iPhone notifications. You need permission to use the call reminder and message reminder functions. If you miss this window, you can go to System Settings > Bluetooth > Select the corresponding Bluetooth device name > Share system notifications. Turn this feature on.
-
If there is no problem with the above settings, please restart the phone and reconnect the device to try again.
There may be errors in the step counting of the watch.
- The accuracy of the device’s step counting is related to the person’s walking posture, walking habits, walking speed, walking continuity, road surface conditions, arm swing amplitude, and arm swing frequency.
- Please fill in all the information correctly and synchronize it to the bracelet, including gender, height, weight, and age, which will affect the algorithm operation.
- In daily life, we often shake our arms or bodies. If the duration is long or regular, the device may misjudge that you are walking, so there will be a step counting error.
- If only a few steps are taken during the step recording, and the movement is not sustained, the device may not record.
- The watch does not have a GPS positioning function, so in sports mode, there will be a specific error in the pedometer.
The heart rate detection is inaccurate, what is the reason?
Inaccurate heart rate detection may be caused by non-standard wearing methods, such as the strap being too tight or too loose, the arm shaking during the detection, Etc. The correct measurement is to lay your arm flat, relax and hold still while keeping the bracelet snug against your wrist.
There is no historical data such as heart rate or blood oxygen.
Please make sure that auto-detection is turned on. Occasionally, the heart rate or blood oxygen will not be valued during automatic detection. The reason is that when the automatic detection is performed, you are active at this time, or the bracelet is not wearing standard, causing the detection to fail. Therefore, there is no data for this test.
How to use the camera control function?
- To use the camera control function, you need permission to call the system camera. You can find the authorization to open the Runmefit App in the phone settings.
- The camera control function only supports standard control when running the Runmefit App in the foreground. If the Runmefit App runs in the background, the bracelet cannot be started and controlled to take pictures.
When the watch searches for the mobile phone, the mobile phone does not respond.
- Please make sure the device and APP are connected.
- Please check whether the mute state of the mobile phone is turned off. In the mute state, if the mobile phone cannot be used, please turn off the mute state first.
- The Runmefit App needs to obtain the permission to call the system sound (multimedia volume). You can find the Runmefit App in the phone settings to open the sound permission.
The time of the watch is inaccurate, what should I do?
- When the watch and Runmefit App are successfully connected, the watch will synchronize the time of the mobile phone.
- After the watch is powered off and shut down, the time will be incorrect if the watch is put on hold for a long time. After charging, connect to the Runmefit App to synchronize the time of the mobile phone.
The watch does not turn on the screen when turning the wrist.
- Please make sure that the device has turned on the switch of turning the wrist to turn on the screen.
- Check whether the watch has turned on Do Not Disturb mode. In Do Not Disturb mode, turning the wrist will not light up the screen.
- Considering that you turn your wrist unconsciously during use, we have partially restricted the screen depending on your wrist. If you are walking or standing, it is recommended that your hand naturally lift your wrist from the side of your body to look at the screen (the screen should be as horizontal as possible). If you are sitting, you can turn your wrist outwards (preferably 90°) and then inwards (the screen is up and as horizontal as possible). You should try a few more times to m aster the best wrist turning angle.
The App cannot search for the Bluetooth of the watch.
- Make sure your mobile phone system Bluetooth is turned on.
- Make sure that the watch is not connected to the Bluetooth of the mobile phone system. If it is already connected, please disconnect it from the Bluetooth of the system because the APP will automatically block the device connected to the Bluetooth of the system when searching.
