The earbuds give you an approximate 10-minute warning before they expire. I have used them on 2-hour flights and they have died before landing. They last almost 2-hours in a single use. I haven’t worked out how to detect when the case needs to be charged, but since it generally does, I do it after the earphones run out. I should also state for the record that I no longer frequently use these headphones. For me, their two-hour life between charges killed them.
