    • Note: A surge protector or circuit breaker is highly recommened for connection between the fryer and the power supply.
  2. Remove the baskets from the oil tank, clean the tank, and fill the tank with a certain amount of vegetable oil which should be no more than the maximum mark (i.e. “MAX” or “H-“) and no less than the minimum mark (i.e. “-MIN” or “L-“).
    • Note: If the oil amount is more than the maximum mark(i.e. “-MAX” or “H-“), it may cause a fire disaster or other property losses or personal injuries; while if the oil amount is less than the minimum mark(i.e. “-MIN” or “L-“), it may lead to dry heating which shall make the heater burn out.
  3. Power On the Fryer:
    • Make sure that the [Temp Setting Knob] and the [Power & Timer Switch]/[Power Switch] are on the “OFF” position, and then connect the power plug with the power socket;
    • Press the [Power & Timer Switch]/[Power Switch] to make the switch be on the “TIMER ON”, “TIMER OFF”, or “ON” position to make the fryer power-on, and the [Power Indicator] shall turn on at the same time.
