increased camera visibility with VBC models.

Product Usage Instructions

Bar Adjustment Considerations

Before attaching the bar to the PMA kit, remove it from either
the table stand or the wall plate. Reserve the M3 screws to attach
the bar to the crossbar in the last installation step of any
configuration.

Installation Choices

This guide covers several possible configuration options for
installing the bar on your video display. Choose the configuration
that matches your intended setup:

Configuration 1: Bar Below the TV

Hold one Spring Arm behind the TV with the bracket level with
the VESA attachment to the TV. Align the upper slot of the Spring
Arm with the VESA attachment screw. The Spring Arm should extend
almost to, but not past the lower edge of the display. The Traveler
Arm should extend at least 102 mm (4 inches) past that edge to
allow for bar attachment.

Configuration 2: Bar Above the TV

Mount the bar above the TV using the circled VESA mounting
holes. Refer to pages 8-12 for detailed instructions.

Configurations 3 and 4: Bar on VESA Mount’s Vertical Rails

Mount the bar on the VESA mount’s vertical rails behind the TV.
Position the bar below or above the TV depending on your
preference. Refer to relevant pages for detailed instructions.

Configuration 5: Low Profile VESA Mount

If you have a low profile VESA mount, mount the bar to it and
then choose either Configuration 1 or 2 depending on the desired
bar location. Note that you must remove the TV from the VESA mount
to add spacers for the kit arms to fit behind the TV.

Installation Guide
ABOUT THIS KIT
The PMA 2000-DM kit mounts a Parlé 2000 series bar to an (X- or H-type) VESA- mounted video display.
INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS
· This kit can be configured so the Parlé bar is above or below the display. In most cases, this can be done without removing the display from the VESA mount.
· Spring tension arms hold the bar against the video display. The brackets and arms may be reconfigured depending on the size of the display, the type of VESA mount, and the bar’s position.
· Once the bar is mounted, the arms can be angled forward/backward for better visibility or coverage.
· To use this kit, access to either the screws holding the VESA (X- or H-type) mount to the display, or the vertical rails or U-channel on an H-type VESA mounting system is necessary.
· Please read the initial pages of this guide to prepare for the installation, and determine which configuration fits your appliction.

CONFIGURATION 5 (Bar below the TV / Low Profile VESA mount)

Low Profile VESA mounts (Add spacers)
If there isn’t enough space to accommodate the depth of the kit arms between the TV and VESA mount, spacers need to be installed at each of the four TV-to- VESA attachment points (circled at right). This process is also applicable with X-type low profile VESA mounting systems. The TV must be removed from the VESA mount first before adding the spacers. 1. Replace the mounting screws with either the 40 or 45 mm M8 screws. Insert
each through the VESA mount (from the rear) and add a spacer to each screw. Use the same length screw for all four connections.
2. If the screws will still be accessible after the TV is on the wall, reinstall the TV, but leave about 3 mm (.12″) space open between either the lower or upper set of spacers and the TV (where the kit arms will be located).
Note: Depending upon the type of VESA mounting system, it may be easier to install the arms on the appropriate screws prior to reattaching the TV to the wall. If that is the case – follow the installation steps in either Configuration 1 or 2 until the crossbar is loosely attached to the arms before attaching the TV and kit assembly to the wall.
