The Luxa Dob Smart City luminaire is designed for various outdoor lighting applications such as street lighting, park lighting, car park lighting, exterior lighting, and pedestrian crossing lighting. It has a nominal voltage of 205 – 250V~, a frequency of 50/60Hz, and is available in color temperatures of 2700K, 4000K, and 6000K. The luminaire has a high luminous efficacy of 180lm/W and can be mounted at heights ranging from 4 to 14m. It is available in different models with varying surface area and weight.

Product Usage Instructions

  • Before starting the installation, it is crucial to disconnect the power supply in the circuit. After connecting and securing all the luminaires in the circuit, you can turn on the power supply.

  • Ensure that the installation is performed by a qualified person. If you have any doubts about the installation or usage of the LED luminaire, consult the manufacturer.

  • The luminaire should only be installed in dry weather conditions to prevent moisture entrapment, which can cause corrosion and damage to the electrical components. Avoid installing the luminaire during rainfall or high air humidity.

  • Do not ground the terminal provided for the control wires (+, -), and keep the connection point for control wires empty for luminaires without a 0-10V controller.

  • If a failure occurs, replace the luminaire instead of attempting self-repair, as self-repair will void the warranty.

  • Store the luminaire in a cool, dry, and clean environment away from water and fire.

  • To clean the luminaire, use a damp cloth to remove dirt that settles due to normal operation. Do not use invasive cleaners or cleaning methods.

  • It is recommended not to stare at the light source for a long period of time to protect your eyes.

WARNING! When installing luminaires on composite poles, it is absolutely necessary to ground the fixture by connecting the PE wire to the knife terminal inside the luminaire In case of any problems in this matter, please consult the manufacturer.

  1. Make sure you disconnect the power supply before installation.
  2. Open the luminaire housing.
  3. Place the power cord from the pole to inside the luminaire 22×1.5mm wire. Adjust the length of the cable, then lock the cable by tightening the cable gland with 2 flat wrenches (20mm, 10Nm).
  4. Connect the power cord to the blade terminal
    • M29 as specified below.

Preparation of the power cable

NOTE:

  • Use wires with double insulation.
  • Applies to the connection of control cables.

Place the lamp on the pole or the extension arm by securing it with the fixing screws by means of a hex wrench (6mm, 3.5Nm)Nm),and countering it with a flat wrench (13mm, 1 10Nm).

STANDARD

Adjust the angle of inclination of the luminaire by adjusting the screws at the mounting bracket with a hex key (6mm, 3.5Nm)Nm).

Adjust the angle of inclination of the luminaire by adjusting the screws at the mounting bracket with a hex key ( 8mm, 5Nm)Nm).

NEMA/ZHAGA socket

  • Attach the controller to the NEMA/ZHAGAsocket by pressing and turning as indicated on the controller. If there is no controller, secure the NEMA/ZHAGAsocket by installing a special Jumper.

LUMINAIRE SERVICE

  • CAUTION, risk of electric shock. Open the luminaire. After opening, the power supply in the upper part of luminaire body is disconnected.
  • Tilt the upper part of the luminaire body as far as possible.
  • Holding the housing, squeeze the pins and remove the upper body. Protect the lower part of the body against weather conditions and the ingress of dirt with a dedicated service body.
  • After servicing, disassemble the service body. Then while squeezing the locking pins, fix the upper part of the housing. The upper housing should be mounted on both hinges.
  • Check the position of the gasket and its cleanliness (all solid parts must be Close the luminaire and press it with the clips (properly closed, it should make a loud “click”). The serviced luminaire does not require re-positioning on the pole.

NOTE

  • Installation must be performed by a qualified person. In case of doubts as to the installation or use of the LED luminaire, consult the manufacturer.
  • The luminaire should be installed in dry weather conditions to avoid the entrapment of moisture inside the luminaire, which may lead to corrosion of electrical components and damage to the luminaire. The luminaire should not be installed during rainfall or high air humidity.
  • This product contains a light source with an energy efficiency class:
    • A for CCT=4000K
    • B for CCT=2700K.
  • For luminaires without a 0 10V controller, the connection point for control wires (+, –) should be left empty.
  • Do not ground the terminal provided for the control wires (+,
  • Replace the luminaire after a failure.
  • Self repair shall void the warranty warranty.
  • Keep the luminaire in a cool, dry, and clean environment. Keep away from water and fire.
  • Make sure you disconnect the power supply before installation. Turn on the power after connecting and securing all luminaires in the circuit.
  • The light source used in this luminaire should only be replaced by the manufacturer or their service representative, or a similarly qualified person.
  • Protect your eyes, and avoid looking at the light for a long period of time time.
  • Dirtiness that settles down on the luminaire due to normal operation shall be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use invasive cleaners or cleaning methods.
