Top-level GUI Introduction
The top-level GUI includes 5 different sections. Each section is described as below
Port Status
This section shows the connected port information, which be can either USB-C1
, USB-C2 , USB-A , DC-IN or DC-OUT , .
Input Status
This section shows the input information when the product is being charged.
The input information includes charging voltage (such as ), charging current
(such as ), charging power, and charging port (this product can be charged via
USB-C and DC). The charging port is also shown as .
Output Status
This section shows the output information when the product is charging other
devices. The output information includes output voltage (such as ), output
current (such as ) and the output power of specific port. The output port
could either be USB-C, USB-A, ROLL, or TOTAL, shown as below:
Only when the product is charging multiple devices, can the shown icon be changed by short-pressing the button.
Note:
When ROLL is shown, each port’s output status will be shown in turn. When
TOTAL is shown, total output power will be shown. 04. Battery Information
This section shows current status of the battery, including batter life,
battery voltage, and real-time current. Note thatthe battery life icon is
designed with different colors based on different battery level, shown as
battery level percentage (e.g. 30 means 30%). The icon color is defined as
below:
System Status
System status shows the battery temperature (with the icon ) ), the circuit
board temeperature (with the icon ), and the system running time.
Second-Level GUI Introduction
Long-pressing the main button (when the system is in the top-level GUI)
will enter the second-level GUI, with options below:
- Configure DC output parameters
- Detail information on the battery pack
- Configure temperature unit
- Reset system running time
- Configure display settings
- System power off
- Exit (back to top-level GUI)
You can enter the above options by long-pressing the button when the corresponding icon is flashing. After entering the options, you may short- press to select options and long-press to change parameters.
Configure DC Output
You can configure the DC output voltage via either coarse- or fine tuning,
with O.lV as the minimal adjustment unit. Once finishing the voltage
configuration, you may turn on DC output.
Battery Information
This section contains detailed information on the battery pack. It shows
voltage of each battery cell, remaining battery capacity (estimated by
thecoulometer based on the last fully-discharged capacity), battery cycles,
and the estimated battery life.
Note that the remaining battery capacity varies based on different discharging
power. The coulometerwill record charging/discharging power, count battery
cycles, and estimate battery life.
Temperature Unit Configuration
You can configure the temperature unit between celsius (0 C) and fahrenheit (‘F).
System Running Time Reset
You can reset system running time to recalculate the charging time for specific devices.
Display Configuration
You can modify the display sleep time between 1MIN and 2MIN , disable sleep
function, or change the display direction to or
System Power Off
Turn off the system to save power, especially when you are not intended to use
it fora long period of time.
Return to Top-Level GUI
Once you finish the configuration or information checking, you can return to
top-level GUI by long-pressing EXIT .
Warning
EMOS owns a complete, strict policy to ensure the user safety.
Users must fully understand each warning message, including:
- DC Output Warning
- Circuit Over-Temperature Warning
- Low Energy Warning
- Battery Over-Temperature Warning
- Battery Low-Temperature Warning
We designed a message box for each warning information.
DC Output Warning
If the product has a DC output port, and when the user turns on DC output, the
screen will pop out the message below:
WARNING
Do not plug in any INPUT device when DC OUTPUT is switched on.
Long press to confirm.
Circuit Over-Temperature Warning
The circuit board will generate heat during power conversion. When the
temperature exceeds ao0c, over-temperature protection will be triggered, and
the screen will pop out the message below.
CIRCUIT TEMP HIGH
Long press to quit.
Low Energy Warning
When the the battery voltage is lower than pre-defined threshold (for Lithium-
ion cells combined in series of 4, the threshold voltageis 11.6V), the screen
will pop out the message below.
LOW ENERGY
Long press to quit.
Battery Over-Temperature Warning
Battery is very sensitive to environment temperature, and extreme temperature
will affect the performance of battery cells, with battery life declined and
possbile permanent damage. When the battery temperature is above 60°C, over-
temperature protection will be triggered and the system will turn off outputs.
In this situation, please turn off the system if applicable and let the product cool down.
BATTERY TEMP HIGH
Long press to quit.
Battery Low-Temperature Warning
When you are using the product with EMOS in cold areas, the battery may be too
cold (below -15°C) to provide sufficient power. EMOS will also turn off the
system output to avoid unstable output power. Please put the product in a warm
environment to recover.
BATTERY TEMP LOW
Long press to quit.
