SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Important!!!
Before using your new DRAGSTER brushless controller for the first time, please
note the following:
- Before using your new CARSON DRAGSTER brushless controller, please read this manual carefully!
- Always select the appropriate gear ratio. The vehicle should not have an overly wide gear ratio.
- Only use the original CARSON BL motor.
- If the cooling fan is defective, stop operation immediately.
- Do not reverse the polarity of the battery cables (plus and minus). The warranty is invalid if the battery is short-circuited.
- Select the correct type of battery/low-voltage protection (cut-off).
- The speed regulator and motor are designed for operation in a damp environment. However, do not submerge the components!
- The motor and speed regulator can get very hot during operation which can cause burns.
DECLARATION
This is Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) for car. High power system for RC model is very dangerous, so please read this manual carefully. Since we can’t control over the correct use, installation, application, or maintenance of our products, we’ve no liability shall be assumed nor accepted for any damages, losses or costs resulting from the use of the product. Any claims arising from the operating, failure of malfunctioning etc. will be denied. We assume no liability for personal injury, consequential damages resulting from our product or our workmanship.

TROUBLESHOOTING
- If after power on, motor can’t work, no sound is emitted, please check the connections between battery pack and motor.
- If after power on, LED flashes, please check the voltage of battery pack, which should be from 5V-13V.
- If the motor emits a “Beep-Beep” tone Only, please check all the connections: BEC wires, transmitter and receiver, throttle signal wires, etc. please check the transmitter TH.TRIM and adjust it to the motor re-emits “Beep-Beep” tone.
- If the car can’t be speed up, please check either voltage of the battery pack is too low or the temperature of ESC is too high. If the voltage of the battery pack is too low, please replace the battery pack. If the temperature of ESC is too high, please let cool down. If not, please push the button EPA on your remote control.
- If the car stops suddenly while in working state, please check the motor’s connections.
- If the car runs in the opposite direction, which the transmitter is available, please swap two wire connections between the ESC and the motor

Instructions
- Connect BEC wires with the receiver
- Connect motor wires with ESC
- Turn on the transmitter
- Connect battery pack with ESC then switch on the ESC.
- When the connection of motor and battery is finished, the motor emits “Beep-Beep” tone.
- When the throttle stick is in the neutral position, the motor re-emits “Beep-Beep” tone.
- The ESC is workable.

Limited Warranty
This product is warranted by CARSON against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for 24 months from the date of purchase from authorised franchisees and dealers. In the event of a product defect during the warranty period, return the product along with your receipt as proof of purchase to any CARSON store.
CARSON will, at its option, unless otherwise provided by law:
(a) Correct the defect by repairing the product without charging for
parts and labour;
(b) Replace the product with one of the same or similar design.
All replacement parts and products, and products on which a refund is made, become the property of CARSON. New or reconditioned parts and products may be used in the performance of warranty services.
Repaired or replaced parts and products are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period. You will be charged for repair or replacement of the product made after the expiration of the warranty period.
The Warranty does not cover:
- Damage or failure caused by or attributable to acts of God, abuse, accident, misuse, improper or abnormal usage, failure to follow instructions, improper installation or maintenance, alteration,
- lightning or other incidence of excess voltage or current;
- Damage caused by losing control of your model;
- Any repairs other than those provided by a CARSON authorised service facility;
- Consumables such as fuses or batteries;
- Cosmetic damage;
- Transportation, shipping or insurance costs; or
- Costs of product removal, installation, set-up service adjustment or reinstallation;
- Any changes to plugs and cables, open the housing and damage the sticker.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary according to the country of purchase.
