Product Information
The RMF18 misting fan is designed for outdoor and indoor cooling purposes. It can be connected to a garden hose for outdoor cooling or placed on a water bucket for misting. The product should only be used by adults who have read and understood the instructions and warnings provided in the manual.

Misting Fan Safety Warnings
- High humidity levels may encourage the growth of biological organisms. Keep the area around the product dry and avoid dampness.
- Never leave water in the water bucket when the product is not in use. Empty the water bucket and clean the product before storage.
- Do not direct mist or water towards any electrical wiring or devices.
- Ensure all hoses and accessories are properly connected before using the product.
- Only use clean, cold water. Do not use the misting fan to spray pesticides or other liquids.
- Do not place the unit near electrical outlets or switches.
- Check hoses and parts for signs of damage. Replace any damaged hoses or parts.
- Use caution when using in windy conditions as winds may carry mists into electrical wiring or devices.
- Avoid using the product on or near surfaces that can be damaged by moisture.
- Ensure all hose connections are secure to prevent spills and leaks.
- Do not kink or overbend the hose or mist tube.
- Be careful not to spill water when filling the water bucket to avoid creating a slippery surface.
- Keep the misting fan away from small children to prevent injuries.
- Ensure the battery compartment cover is closed properly to prevent water contact.
- Do not place battery tools or their batteries near fire or heat to avoid the risk of explosion.
- Do not use a battery that has been dropped or damaged. Dispose of it immediately.
- Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before charging and dispose of exhausted batteries safely.
- Use only rechargeable batteries, not non-rechargeable ones, in the product.
Product Usage Instructions
- Read and understand all instructions and warnings provided in the manual before using the misting fan.
- Ensure that the misting fan is placed on a stable surface and away from electrical outlets or switches.
- If using the misting fan outdoors, connect it to a garden hose using a proper hose connection to prevent back siphonage of non-potable water.
- If using the misting fan indoors, do not connect it to a source of water. Use clean, cold water in the water bucket.
- Check all hoses and parts for any signs of damage before using the product. Replace any damaged hoses or parts.
- Ensure all hose connections are secure before turning on the misting fan to avoid spills and leaks.
- Adjust the mist output to prevent excessive dampness. If the output volume cannot be turned down, use the misting fan intermittently.
- Do not direct the mist or water towards any electrical wiring or devices to avoid potential hazards.
- After each use, empty the water bucket and clean the misting fan before storing it.
- Keep the misting fan away from small children to prevent injuries.
- Ensure the battery compartment cover is closed properly to prevent water contact with the batteries.

INTENDED USE
The misting fan is intended to be used only by adults who have read and
understood the instructions and warnings in this manual and can be considered
responsible for their actions.
Use the product for the purposes listed below:
- Outdoor cooling and misting connected to a garden hose or sitting on a water bucket.
- Indoor cooling is not connected to a source of water.
- Do not use the product in any way other than those stated for intended use.
MISTING FAN SAFETY WARNINGS
- Be aware that high humidity levels may encourage the growth of biological organisms in the environment.
- Do not permit the area around the product to become damp or wet.
- If dampness occurs, turn down the mist output. If the output volume cannot be turned down, use the product intermittently. Do not allow absorbent materials, such as carpeting, curtains, drapes, or tablecloths, to become damp.
- Never leave water in the water bucket when the product is not in use.
- Empty the water bucket and clean the product before storage. Clean the product before next use.
- Never direct mist or water toward any electrical wiring or devices.
- Ensure that all hoses and accessories are properly connected before using the product.
- When connecting to water mains through a garden hose, the hose must be constructed to prevent back siphonage of non-potable water into water means, complying with IEC 61770.
- Only use clean, cold water.
- Do not use this misting fan to spray pesticides, liquid fertilizers, chemicals, or any liquids other than clean water. Spraying these substances could result in serious injury or illness to the operator or bystanders.
- Make sure the hose and mist tube are located so that they will not be stepped on, tripped over, come in contact with sharp edges or moving parts or otherwise subjected to damage or stress.
- This will reduce the risk of accidental falls, which could cause injury, and damage to the hose and mist tube which could prevent the product from working properly.
- Use caution when positioning the product for use. Never place the unit near electrical outlets or switches.
- Check hoses and parts for signs of damage. Replace any damaged hoses or parts.
- Use caution when using in windy conditions. Winds may carry mists into electrical wiring or devices.
- Do not use the product on or near surfaces that can be damaged by moisture.

- Battery tools do not have to be plugged into an electrical outlet; therefore, they are always in operating condition.
- Be aware of possible hazards when not using your battery tool or when changing accessories. Following this rule will reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, or serious personal injury.
- Do not place battery tools or their batteries near fire or heat. Following this rule will reduce the risk of explosion and possibly injury.
- Never use a battery that has been dropped or received a sharp blow. A damaged battery is subject to explosion. Properly dispose of a dropped or damaged battery immediately.
- Rechargeable batteries to be removed from the product before being charged.
- Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product and safely disposed of.
- Do not use non-rechargeable batteries in place of rechargeable batteries.
- Do not use modified or damaged batteries.
- Be aware of the risk of terminals of the battery-operated appliance or battery being short-circuited by metal objects.
- If the product is to be stored unused for a long period, the batteries should be removed.
- The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
- Ensure that the product is switched off from the supply mains before removing the guard.
ADDITIONAL BATTERY SAFETY WARNINGS
- To reduce the risk of fire, personal injury, and product damage due to a short circuit, never immerse your battery pack or charger in fluid or allow a fluid to flow inside it.
- Corrosive or conductive fluids, such as seawater, certain industrial chemicals, and bleach or bleach-containing products, etc., can cause a short circuit.
- When the battery is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause sparks, burns, or fire.
- Do not expose a battery pack or tool to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 130°C may cause an explosion.
- Always use the product with the battery cover closed.
TRANSPORTING LITHIUM BATTERIES
Transport the battery in accordance with local and national provisions and regulations. Follow all special requirements on packaging and labeling when transporting batteries by a third party. Ensure that no batteries can come in contact with other batteries or conductive materials while in transport by protecting exposed connectors with insulating, non-conductive caps or tape. Do not transport batteries that are cracked or leaking. Check with the forwarding company for further advice.
MAINTENANCE
- The product should never be connected to a power supply when assembling parts, making adjustments, cleaning, performing maintenance, or when the product is not in use. Disconnecting the product from the power supply will prevent accidental starting that could cause serious injury.
- When servicing, use only the original manufacturer’s replacement parts, accessories, and attachments. Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage.
- Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken, or destroy plastic which may result in serious personal injury.
- Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of commercial solvents and can be damaged by their use. Use dry cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
- For greater safety and reliability, all repairs should be performed by an authorized service center.
- Failure to keep long hair away from air inlet could result in personal injury.
- Do not dispose of waste batteries, waste electrical and electronic equipment as unsorted municipal waste.
- Waste batteries and waste electrical and electronic equipment must be collected separately. Waste batteries, waste accumulators, and light sources have to be removed from the equipment.
- Check with your local authority or retailer for recycling advice and collection points.
- According to local regulations, retailers may have an obligation to take back waste batteries and waste electrical and electronic equipment free of charge.
- Your contribution to the reuse and recycling of waste batteries and waste electrical and electronic equipment helps to reduce the demand for raw materials.
- Waste batteries, in particular containing lithium, and waste electrical and electronic equipment contain valuable and recyclable materials, which can adversely impact the environment and human health if not disposed of in an environmentally compatible manner.
