EZ Concept RY60 Frameless Flush Door Jamb

Product Information

The EZC Classic Adjust Door Frame is a versatile door frame system designed for easy installation. It is suitable for use with Herline/Liftoff Hinges and RY60 Concealed Hinges. The frame is made of high-quality materials and is adjustable to accommodate various door sizes. The frame is compatible with both timber and steel studs.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Step 1: Ensure that the stud opening is square and level.
  2. Step 2: Fasten the hinge side of the frame first, making sure the jamb is level and tight against the stud opening. Screw at 200mm centers up the stile, screwing back through the plasterboard into the stud work. Double-screw all ends as per Detail D and beside the hinge position, both above and below the hinge as per Detail E.
  3. Step 2A: Install the head section by inserting it into the jamb. Make sure the head joiner is flush with the jamb so that it is not visible. Remove the remaining head joiner out of the strike jamb into the end of the head to receive the strike jamb.
  4. Step 3: Fit the final vertical section (strike jamb) into the head section joining clip. Ensure that the spacing between the two vertical sections is evenly spaced at the required distance.
  5. Step 4: Ensure that the perforated side strips sit flat against the plasterboard. Tape and plaster/joint all corners as Detail F. Finish the jamb with approved plaster/jointing compound. Hang the door in position, leaving about 3mm clearance from the top and the hinged side using the EzyJamb Standard or concealed Hinges. Surface mount the striker plate into position to align with the latch plate punching.
  6. Completed Installation: The jamb should be flush finished and can be painted along with the whole wall area to fully conceal any fixing, achieving simple clean lines around the door face.
