Product Information

The Series 4 Induction Hob is a 60 cm black hob model PWP611BB5E. It features a CombiInduction hob, allowing you to place large, oval, or rectangular cookware on two connected cooking zones. The hob offers flexibility with its variable 17-stage power settings for each zone and the ability to use bigger cookware by connecting two classic cooking zones into one large zone. It also includes convenient features such as TouchSelect control, switch-off timer, count-down timer, PowerBoost function for faster boiling, QuickStart function for automatic selection of cooking zones, ReStart function for restoring previous settings, and Quick Stop for quickly switching off a cooking zone. The hob has a frameless design and can accommodate 4 pots or pans. It prioritizes safety with a residual heat indicator for each zone, control panel lock, main on/off switch, and automatic safety shut off after a preset time of non-use. The installation requires specific dimensions and a minimum worktop thickness.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Connect the hob to the power supply using the included power cord.
2. Ensure the hob is installed in a suitable niche with the required dimensions (51 x 560 x (490 – 500) mm).
3. Make sure the worktop thickness is at least 16 mm.
4. Select the desired cooking zone by touching the corresponding zone on the TouchSelect control panel.
5. Adjust the power level using the imprinted +/- touch buttons. There are 17 power levels available (9 main levels and 8 intermediate levels).
6. Use the switch-off timer to automatically turn off a cooking zone at the end of the set time. This is useful for tasks like boiling eggs.
7. Utilize the count-down timer to set an alarm that sounds at the end of the specified time. This is handy for cooking pasta.
8. To boil water faster, activate the PowerBoost function, which provides 50% more energy than the highest standard level.
9. If you place cookware on a zone while the hob is off, the QuickStart function will automatically select the corresponding cooking zone.
10. In case of an unintentional switch-off, use the ReStart function to restore all previous settings by switching on the hob within 4 seconds.
11. To quickly switch off a cooking zone, touch and hold the zone for an extended period using the Quick Stop function.
12. Monitor the residual heat indicator for each zone to identify which zones are still hot or warm after use.
13. Prevent unintended activation of the hob by using the control panel lock feature.
14. Use the main on/off switch to switch off all cooking zones with a single touch.
15. The hob includes an automatic safety shut off feature that stops heating after a preset time of non-use. It is possible to customize this time.

• TouchSelect: Selection of the desired cooking zone and easy setting of the desired power level.
• CombiZone: More flexibility by combining two cooking zones, for roasters and more.
• PowerBoost: up to 50% more power for faster heating on your induction hob.
• If you turn off the cooktop it saves the last selected setting for a short time. If the cooktop is switched off within a short time again the former settings are still available.
• Timer with switch-off function: Turns off the assigned cooking zone after the set time.
