Product Information

The product is a dishwasher with various features and settings to provide efficient cleaning of tableware. It has a Home Connect app that allows users to conveniently change settings using a mobile device. The dishwasher also has water hardness settings, special salt and rinse aid dispensers, and different programs for different cleaning needs.

Water Hardness Settings
The dishwasher offers different water hardness settings based on the water quality in your area. The following table shows the different hardness ranges and their corresponding setting values:

Product Usage Instructions

1. Before using the dishwasher for the first time, read the instruction manual and the safety information provided.
2. To set up the Home Connect feature, follow these steps:
3. Install the Home Connect app on your mobile device and follow the instructions.
4. Scan the QR code with the Home Connect app to connect your appliance.
5. To add a special salt to the dishwasher:
6. Unscrew the lid of the special salt dispenser and remove it.
7. If it’s the initial start-up, fill the dispenser with water.
8. Add the special salt to the dispenser. Avoid adding detergent.
9. Place the lid back on the dispenser and turn it to close.
10. To add rinse aid to the dishwasher:
11. Press the catch on the lid of the rinse aid dispenser and lift it.
12. Add rinse aid up to the maximum mark.
13. Close the lid of the rinse aid dispenser.
14. To set the water softening system:
15. Press the corresponding button on the dishwasher.
16. To open the basic settings, press and hold the button for 3 seconds.
17. The display will show the current setting (e.g., Hxx).
18. Press the button repeatedly until the desired water hardness setting is displayed.
19. To save the settings, press and hold the button for 3 seconds.
20. To add detergent to the dishwasher:
21. Add the detergent to the dry detergent dispenser according to the recommended amount.
22. Close the lid of the detergent dispenser.
23. To use the dishwasher:
24. Load the tableware, ensuring it is suitable for dishwashers and removing large food remnants.
25. Switch on the appliance.
26. Select the desired program based on your cleaning needs.
27. Start the program.
28. At the end of the program, remove the tableware.
29. To cancel a program, press and hold the corresponding button for approximately 4 seconds. The program will be canceled and ended after about 1 minute.
30. To clean the filters:
31. After each wash, check the filters for residue.
32. Turn the coarse filter anticlockwise and remove it from the filter system.
33. Pull down the microfilter to remove it.

Setting the water softening system

1. Press .

2. To open the basic settings, press 2 Setup 3 sec. for 3 seconds.
   The display shows Hxx.

3. Press Start repeatedly until the right water hardness has been set.

4. To save the settings, press 4. Setup 3 sec. for 3 seconds.

Programmes

• The program data has been measured in the laboratory according to European standard EN 60436.
• The consumption figures depend on the program and additional function selected.
• The runtime will change if the rinse aid system is switched off or rinse ai needs to be added.

How to use your appliance

1. Load the tableware.
   Only clean tableware that is suitable for dishwashers.
   Remove large remnants of food from the tableware. Check that the spray arms can rotate freely.

2. Add detergent.

3. Switch on the appliance

4. Select the program.

5. Start the program start ⁠.

6. Remove the tableware at the end of the program.

7. To cancel the program, press reser 4 sec for approx. 4 seconds.
   The program is canceled and ends after approx. 1 minute.

Cleaning filters

1. After each wash check the filters for residue.
2. Turn the coarse filter anticlockwise 1 and remove the filter system 2⁠.
3. Pull down the microfilter to remove it.
4. Press the locking catches 1 together and lift the coarse filter out 2 ⁠.
5. Clean the filter elements under running water.
6.  Re-assemble the filter system.
7. Insert the filter system into the appliance and turn the coarse filter clockwise.
   Make sure that the arrow markings match up.

Cleaning spray arms

1. Unscrew the upper spray arm 1 and pull down to remove 2⁠.

2. Pull up the lower spray arm to remove it.

3. Check the outlet nozzles on the spray arms for blockages under running water and remove any foreign bodies.

4.  Insert the lower spray arm.
   The spray arm clicks into position.

5. Insert the upper spray arm and screw it firmly in place.

Clean wastewater pump

1. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
2. Remove the filter system.
3. Scoop out any water.
4. Prise off the pump cover using a spoon and grip it by the crosspiece.
5. Lift the pump cover inwards at an angle and remove it.
6. Remove any remnants of food and foreign bodies in the area of the impeller.
7. Insert the pump cover 1 and press down 2⁠. The pump cover clicks into position.
8. Install the filter system.
