The Wireless Controller CX-262 is a versatile gaming controller that offers various features and functions to enhance your gaming experience. Product Usage Instructions

Bluetooth Pairing Mode:
To pair the controller with a Bluetooth-enabled device, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure the SWITCH host is awake.
  2. Press the HOME button on the controller to wake it up.
  3. The LED indicators (LED1-LED4) will flash slowly.
  4. The controller will automatically connect to the paired host.

Reconnect Mode:
If the SWITCH host is in sleep mode, you can reconnect the controller by following these steps:

  1. Press the HOME button on the controller to wake up the host.
  2. Press any other button on the controller.
  3. The LED indicators (LED1-LED4) will flash slowly.
  4. The controller will automatically connect to the paired host.

Charging Indicator:
To charge the controller and check the charging status, refer to the following:

  • When the controller is turned off and charging, the LED indicators (LED1-LED4) will flash slowly.
  • The LED indicators will turn off when the controller is fully charged.
  • Low battery voltage warning: The current channel indicator flashes quickly.
  • During charging, the current channel indicator flashes slowly.
  • The current indicator stays on when the controller is fully charged.

Auto Dormancy:
The controller will automatically go into sleep mode if no buttons are pressed within 5 minutes. To manually put the controller to sleep, follow these steps:

  • In Bluetooth mode, press and hold the HOME button for 3 seconds to disconnect from the host and put the controller to sleep.

Low Voltage Warning:
The controller provides a low voltage warning to indicate when the battery is running low. Take appropriate action when the current channel indicator flashes quickly.

Motor Strength and Vibration Adjustment Function:
The controller allows you to adjust the motor strength and vibration. Follow these steps:

  • To enhance the motor vibration, simultaneously press Turbo and + for about 3 seconds.
  • To weaken the motor vibration, simultaneously press TURBO and – for about 3 seconds.
  • The motor vibration can be adjusted in four levels: 100% (maximum), 70%, 30%, and 0% (no vibration).
  • Note: Motor vibration is only effective on SWITCH, PC, and Android platforms.

Hardware Reset of the Controller:
If needed, you can reset the controller’s hardware by following these steps:

  • Press and hold the HOME button for more than 10 seconds.

Lighting Effects:
The controller features customizable lighting effects. Use the keys mentioned below to control the lighting:

  • Default lighting effect: Colorful colour
  • Press and hold the screenshot key and – key to switch to steady mode and change the colour.
  • Press and hold the screenshot key and + key to switch between breathing light mode and jumping light mode.
  • Press the screenshot key and T key to turn off all lights.
  • Repeat the above actions to turn on the lights again.

Bluetooth Pairing Mode

  • Press and hold the HOME bu?on for 3 seconds to enter the Switch Bluetooth pairing mode, and the LED1-LED4 will flash quickly.
  • HOME+A:
    • Android mode: LED2+LED3 flash quickly and connect successfully and remain on.
  • HOME+B:
    • IOS13 mode: LED1+LED4 flash quickly and connect successfully and remain on. Automatically recognize the SWITCH host, and after the connection is successful, the corresponding channel indicator LED is always on (allocated by the Switch host).
  • Bluetooth mode can be connected to a Switch or PC, and the operation mode is the same. Stream is available, and motion sensing is available (no audio in Bluetooth).

Reconnect Mode
If the SWITCH host is in sleep mode (not in aeroplane mode), press the HOME button to wake up the host. Press any other button on the controller (up, down, left, right, ABXY, L1, L2, R1, R2, CAP, “-”,”+”, SYNC) to wake up the controller. The LED1-LED4 will flash slowly, and the controller will automatically connect to the paired host. If reconnection is not successful within 10 seconds, the controller will automatically go into sleep mode.

Charging Indicator
When the controller is turned off and charging, the LED1-LED4 will flash slowly, and the LED will turn off when fully charged. Low battery voltage warning: the current channel indicator flashes quickly. During charging, the current channel indicator flashes slowly, and the current indicator is always on when fully charged. When pairing, reconnecting, charging, or low battery, the pairing and reconnecting LED indicators take priority.

Auto Dormancy
When the screen is closed, the controller will automatically go into sleep mode if no buttons are pressed within 5 minutes (including motion sensors) (the time can be adjusted as needed). In Bluetooth mode, press the HOME button for 3 seconds to disconnect from the host and put the controller to sleep (the time can be adjusted as needed).

Low Voltage Warning

  • If the lithium battery voltage is lower than 3.35V±0.1V, the current channel light will flash quickly to indicate low voltage (the voltage can be adjusted as needed).
  • If the lithium battery voltage is lower than 3.25V±0.1V, the controller will automatically go into sleep mode (the voltage can be adjusted as needed).

Turbo and AUTO TURBO Function

  1. Eight buttons, including A/B/X/Y/L1/L2/R1/R2, support Turbo function.
    • Pressing A/B/X/Y/L1/L2/R1/R2 and the Turbo key can set the Turbo function.
    • Pressing the Turbo key again will activate the AUTO TURBO function.
    • Pressing A/B/X/Y/L1/L2/R1/R2 and Turbo key again will clear the Turbo function for that specific button. Additionally, holding down the Turbo key for more than 3 seconds and then pressing the minus key will clear the Turbo function for all buttons.
  2. Turbo speed adjustment (three-speed levels can be adjusted, and the default is level 2 for the first power-on (when the reset key is pressed, the next power-on is regarded as the first power-on)).
    • Adjustment method: Hold down the TURBO key for 3 seconds and then move the right 3D stuck up to increase the speed by one level.

M1 and M2 Programming Key Settings

  1. M1 and M2 programming key settings: Press and hold the TURBO and M1/M2 keys for 5 seconds to enter programming mode.
    • For example, if you want to set the M1 key to function as the A key, press and hold TURBO and M1 for 5 seconds until the light flashes and the 4 channel lights are on. Then, press the A key and then press M1 to complete the programming. Now, M1 has the same function as the A key.
    • These 8 buttons can be programmed: L1, R1, L2, R2, A, B, X, and Y.
  2. Clear programming key operation: Press and hold the TURBO and M1/M2 keys for 5 seconds. At this time, the channel light changes from 1 light to 4 lights being on. Press M1/M2 again to clear the programming function. M1/M2 will have no function after clearing the programming.

USB Wired Mode

  • Automatic recognition of Switch platform, PC platform, and Android platform.
  • Under the PC platform, the default automatic identification is X-INPUT mode, and you can long press the ‘+’ key ‘-‘ key to switch X-INPUT and D-INPUT modes for 3 seconds.
  • Automatic recognise on of Android platform (Android can support Xinput or Dinput), if it is Xinput mode, LED1 and LED4 bright, if it is Dinput mode, LED2 and LED3 bright.
  • If the STEAM platform is installed on the PC, you can press R3 when the USB is inserted, which can be forced into Switch USB mode. In the Stream, the handle can also be used, and the LED can be assigned according to the Steam platform.

Motor Strength and Vibration Adjustment Function
At the same time, Turbo and “+” (about 3S) can enhance the motor vibration, while TURBO and “-” (about 3S) can weaken the motor vibration is divided into four levels, each time the default level is 100%, then 100% (maximum) -70% -30% -0% (no vibration); the motor vibration is only effective in SWITCH, PC and Android invalid

Hardware Reset of the Controller

  • Press and hold the HOME button for more than 10 seconds to reset the controller hardware.

Lighting effects

  • The default lighting effect is colourful colour.
  • Press and hold the screenshot key and“-” key: Steady mode, repeat the operation to change the colour. (colourful colour – Red – Orange – Yellow – Green – Blue – Cyan – Purple – White – Off) Cycle through the colours.
  • Press and hold the screenshot key and the “+ “key: (Breathing light mode and jumping light mode)
  • Screenshot key and “T” key: Turn off all lights. Repeat the above actions to turn on the lights again.
