XJJZS Digital Scale for Kitchen
Specifications
- Item Weight 035 ounces
- Measuring range 5~150KG
- Material Synthetic-fiber
- Brand XJJZS
Introduction
The most accurate and exact analog front-end (AFE) device that uses force sensors to measure an object’s load is a digital scale. These scales have numerous uses, including extensive use in industry.
A tool used to determine weight is a weighing scale. Spring scales and balances are the two main categories of weighing scales. Hooke’s Law, which deforms in proportion to the weight deposited on the load-receiving end, is used by spring scales to measure weight.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Turning the scale on and off
Warning
Before turning on the scale for the first time, please check the back of the battery cover and remove the insulation tape, which prevents the discharge of batteries during transport,
- Turn the scale on by pressing the “ON/OFF TARE” button.
- Turn the scale off by pressing the “ON/OFF TARE” button.
Warning
The scale turns itself off automatically after approximately 60 seconds after displaying “0.0” on the LCD display or while it is idle. By turning it off after weighing using the “ON/OFF TARE button you will save the battery.
Switching units
While weighing you may switch between units (g-> ml-> Ib:oz-> fl.oz) by pressing the “UNIT” button.
CHANGING THE BATTERIES
If the flat battery icon “Lo” appears on the display, it is necessary to replace the batteries.
- Remove the battery compartment cover on the bottom part of the scale.
- Take out the old batteries.
- Place two 3V type CR2032 lithium batteries into the battery compartment. Pay attention to the polarity. The positive pole must always be facing upwards.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
To clean the outer parts of the appliance, use a soft cloth dipped in lukewarm water.
DISPOSAL OF USED BATTERIES
Lithium batteries come included with this product. Do not place used batteries into regular household waste. Instead, use the appropriate waste collection and recycling centres.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the scale is displaying random values or if it is not turning off automatically, you need to restart it. In such cases, remove the batteries for about 10 seconds and place them back again. The scale should work normaly again.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the purpose of a scale?
Scales measure force, while balances measure mass. Weight is determined by the force applied to the load cell of weighing scales and balances. They then translate the outcome into mass and present it in several mass units.
What’s the process of a balance scale?
The amount of air needed to balance the weight of the object on the scale depends on how heavy it is because the scale uses pressurised air to do so. The reading is subsequently converted into an electrical signal by the pressure gauge.
What could cause digital scales to malfunction?
Digital scales are electronic devices, so electromagnetic frequencies may affect how accurate they are. For instance, erroneous readings can be caused by your microwave, cell phone, and any static electricity.
Does temperature impact digital scales?
If a digital scale is subjected to excessive heat or cold, it could provide misleading readings. Since room temperature is the preferred condition for these devices, storing your scale in a chilly or damp environment could cause issues.
What influences scale precision?
A load cell’s accuracy may be impacted by a number of variables, including air pressure, vibrations, dirty scales, and how the weight is delivered to and sustained on the scale.
Are digital scales supposed to be flat?
Always position your scale on a stable, flat platform before weighing something. To obtain continuously accurate findings, digital scales must remain in an exact, constant horizontal position. To make sure the scale is resting evenly, many scales have adjustable feet and a level bubble.
How long do the batteries last on a weight scale?
Based on weighing-in on the scale roughly up to three times per day, according to our Manufacturer’s Specifications, the Scale Batteries (3*1.5V zinc- manganese dry battery) are expected to typically last 200 days, give or take.
Do computerised scales result in weight gain?
Every time they step on an analogue doctor’s scale, many people feel that their weight is a little high. An analogue scale reveals them to be three to four pounds heavier than they are on a digital scale. On a digital scale, however, you will see that your body weight has decreased by 3 to 4 pounds.
Are digital scales calibrated before use?
Digital scales are accurate tools. In some circumstances, they require routine calibration. Every time a version that needs calibration is picked up and relocated, it should be calibrated to ensure correct readings. Some versions automatically calibrate, thus accuracy concerns are alleviated.
Which scale is the most precise?
The most precise scales are analytical scales, which provide a thorough breakdown of your body’s composition. Some of the analytical scales on our list may measure up to 17 different parameters.
