Prior to setting the time, Archetype mechanical movements must be given an
initial hand winding to power up the mainspring.
[Approximately 40 clockwise turns when the crown is in the normal position]
SETTING THE TIME
- Pull the crown out to the 1st position.
- Turn the center hands clockwise to set the Home Time.
- As the center hands move, the corresponding Day/Night display moves as well.
- Push the crown back in to the normal position after setting the time.
SETTING THE DUAL TIME
- Pull the crown out to the 1st position.
- Turn the center hands counterclockwise to set the preferred Dual Time. (the Dual Time hand at 9 o’clock will simultaneously move clockwise)
- Now turn the center hands clockwise to set the Home Time.
- Push the crown back in to the normal position after setting the time.
PLEASE NOTE:
Your Archetype watch MUST be worn for at least eight (8) hours each day to
ensure it is fully wound. An automatic watch will only wind when the watch is
on your wrist and your arm moves. Winding the watch by the crown will power up
the mainspring but not enough to allow the watch to fully function. If your
watch stops overnight, runs fast, or runs slow this means the movement is not
being fully wound. We recommend hand-winding your movement before you put it
on your wrist and then wearing the watch for at least 8 hours a day.
WATCH WINDER SETTINGS
