User Guide
Thank you for purchasing the Note Tower Zumiglo Desktop Whiteboard. For optimum performance and safety, read these instructions carefully before connecting, operating or adjusting this product. Refer to this manual for future  reference.
INTRODUCTION:
The Note Tower Zumiglo Desktop Whiteboard is a productivity tool that utilizes colored light to immerse you in a flow, so you get the most out of your work or study.
Light up your workspace with a color that enhances the mood you desire and effortlessly write notes on the light board to keep you on track.
ATTENTION:
Please do not modify or disassemble any product components offered by our company, or try to use any components which are not supplied by us without authorization.
CHOKING HAZARD:
Small Parts. Not for children under 8 years old.
WARNING:
This is not a toy.
Keep away from water and extreme heat.
CAUTION:
Marker may stain porous surfaces including leather and cloth.
Dry Erase marker is non-toxic and conforms to ASTM D4236.

PAIRING YOUR DEVICE FOR APP CONTROL

What You Need for Wi-Fi Light Control via Note Tower App
A Wi-Fi router supporting the 2.4GHz and 802.11b/g/n glands.
5GHz is not supported.
3.1 Download the “Note Tower· App from the App store or Google Play by scanning the QR code below.

3.2 Register an account on the Note Tower App.
3.3 Connect to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and turn on the Bluetooth function on your phone.
3.4 Power on the light by connecting the USS end of the cable into a powered USS source, such as a computer, laptop or USS wall charger.
3.5 The LED light will flash red color which indicates it is in pairing mode.

Note: Should the LED light not flash red color:
Reset the Pairing Mode by unplugging and plugging in the USS connection (power off then power on) 5 times and the device will start to flash red color to enter pairing mode. 

3.10 Once pairing is complete, enjoy the lighting by exploring the functions such as color modes, brightness modes, scene option, scheduler and timer.

TROUBLESHOOTING

(i) Cannot connect to the Note Tower app?

• Check if the product is powered on.
• Check if Bluetooth on the smartphone is enabled or try connecting with another smartphone.
• When connecting for the first time, ensure the smartphone is near the product.

If the connection error still exists, please delete the connected Zumiglo Desktop Whiteboard from “My Device” on the app. Reconnect to the Note Tower app by following the instructions provided previously.
(Ii) LED light not flashing red color for Pairing Mode?

• Reset the Pairing Mode by unplugging and plugging in the USB connection (power off then power on) 5 times and the device will start to flash red color to enter pairing mode.

(iii) Wi.fi disconnected or failed to connect?

• Check if the Zumiglo Desktop Whiteboard is powered on.
• Do not skip the Wi-Fi connection steps during the product pairing process.
• Ensure your Wi-Fi router is 2.4GHz (5GHz is not supported).
• Ensure you entered the correct Wi-Fi password during the Wi-Fi set up process.
• Try connecting the product with a smartphone hotspot to check if your home network is working properly.
• Shorten the distance between the product and the Wi-Fi router to less than 1 m, then reconnect.

(iv) Can Multiple user control the Zumiglo Desktop Whiteboard?

• Each light can only be controlled by one account.
• If multiple users want to manage the same Zumiglo Desktop Whiteboard, ensure they all use the same account.

INSTRUCTIONS — REMOTE CONTROL USE

5.1 Connect the USB end of the cable into a powered USB source, such as a computer, laptop or USB wall charger.
5.2 Before using for the first lime, remove the transparent plastic card at the bottom of the controller. This will engage the remote controller battery.
5.3 Press the Power ON Button on the top right of the remote controller and the light will activate.
When operating, aim the remote control at the infrared receiver on the product, location shown in the image below, and make sure that there are no interfering obstacles between the remote control and the infrared receiver. If the remote-control range lessens over time, its battery may need to be replaced. To replace the battery, open battery door and replace old battery with new CR2025 battery.

DRY ERASE USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

6.1 Use only dry erase markers. Other markers may permanently damage the writing surface, For best erasing results, replace markers at least once a year.
6.2 The dry erase board surface is coated with a high gloss film that enables the efficient application and removal of dry erase marker ink.
6.3 This whiteboard is supplied with a dry erase marker pen and felt eraser.
6.4 Use a clean eraser to remove dry erase ink from the board surface.
6.5 Avoid leaving marker ink on the board surface for prolonged periods. Dry erase ink may become difficult to erase over time.

Utilize the dry erase marker and eraser supplied with the product to write and erase on the whiteboard surface. The surface of the whiteboard has been applied with a high gloss durable film allowing for the efficient writing and erasing of  dry erase markers pens.
TIPS: How to Remove Permanent Marker from Dry Erase Boards
If a permanent marker pen has been accidently been used on your board, just follow these steps:

1. Use a fresh dry erase marker to write over the top of the stains, covering them completely
2. Wait a few seconds for the marker to dry
3. Wipe away all marks with a cloth or felt eraser
4. The dry-erase ink will lift away the permanent ink

WARNING
Do not use liquid cleaning solutions of any kind to remove dry erase marker ink, permanent marker ink or any other stains.

ORGANIZER DRAWER FOR STORAGE

Utilize the sliding drawer to store dry erase marker pens, whiteboard eraser and other office supplied with the drawer compartments.

PHONE & TABLET STAND

The durable whiteboard acts as a stand for both phones and tablets. Place the base of phone or tablet within the front channel and utilize the whiteboard to support the device in an upright position.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Your Note Tower Zumiglo Desktop Whiteboard is a product of high design and quality, which should be treated with care. The care and maintenance suggestions below will help you enjoy this product for many years and fulfill any  warranty obligations.
When installing and using your Note Tower Zumiglo Desktop Whiteboard, please note the following:

• Keep it and all its parts out of children’ reach.
• Ensure it is installed as per the instructions.
• Use it indoors only.
• Keep it dry.
• Do not install or store in hot areas. High temperatures can shorten the life of electronic items and warp / melt certain plastics.
• Do not attempt to open, alter or tamper with your Whiteboard mood-light. Non­ expert handling may damage the unit and may cause injury to the user.
• Do not tamper with or replace the LED bulbs or cables.
• Do not drop or shake the product. Rough handling can break internal circuitry and lights.
• Do not use chemical, cleaning solvents, or liquids to clean the product. Wipe clean with a soft cloth or the supplied eraser.

This Note Tower product is not designed, certified, nor intended for use in:

• Enclosed location that limit the flow of air and/or trap heat which contributes to an environment temperature over 40 degrees Celsius.
• Emergency exists, emergency lighting, or other use cases involving critical systems for human safety.
• In conjunction with 3r party devices that are not approved by Note Tower for use with Note Tower products.
• Locations or use cases where there is a risk of electric shock.
• Outdoor areas, regardless of weather conditions.
• Wet or damp conditions.
• As a floor covering or floor tiling.
• Excessively hot environments that are consistently above 40 degrees Celsius for extended periods of time (for example: near ovens, space heaters, clothing dryers)
• Regions or countries other than that in which the product was intended for and certified for sale in.
• Use in excessively humid areas.

When using the Note Tower product: Do not open or disassemble the device, as this will void the warranty and make the product unsafe for use. While connected to the electrical supply of the building or appliance, do not place any  metallic or conductive objects near any exposed metal contacts or any component.
Do not allow small children to operate this device without adult supervision. This device contains small parts that may be a choking hazard to small children. Loose or dangling cords may cause an entanglement hazard to small children.  Do not leave cords dangling or loose on the floor to help prevent accidents from tnppmg. Do not clean the device with liquids or sprays when it is connects to power. Clean the whiteboard surface with a soft dry cloth, and do not use harsh  cleaning agents. Do not bend or flex the acrylic whiteboard. Do not puncture any part of the device with sharp objects as this will cause the device to cease working as designed and may present a safety hazard.
IMPORTASNT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
Product contains No User or Field Serviceable Parts –To reduce the risk of injury from electric shock hazards, do not open any component.
The flexible cable cannot be replaced by another third-party product.
Taking proper care of the products electrical cord reduces the likelihood of a fire,
accidental electrocution, and other preventable events. Inspect the electrical cords for damage before use.
DISPOSAL: After it’s use, the device must be disposed of according to legal regulations or returned to your local recycling center.
STORAGE: When storing the product unplug and store it in a dry, clutter- free area out of the weather. Keep cords clear of sharp edges and objects
INTENDED USE: Note Tower LED Whiteboards are primarily intended for decorative use and dry erase marker pen writing and erasing use with RGB output function that can dim.
WARNING: Only for use with a Listed Class 2 Power supply with output 5VDC 500mA.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Note Tower guarantee that this Note Tower Zumiglo Desktop Whiteboard is free from defects in material and workmanship according to the following terms and conditions:

• The warranty of the Note Tower Zumiglo Desktop Whiteboard is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase of the product.
• This limited warranty does not cover damages due to improper installation or improper testing or problems with electrical usage not in accordance with the specification.
• Note Tower is not responsible for any damage due to unauthorized repair, unauthorized modifications or alterations of the product.
• During the limited warranty period, Note Tower or its authorized distributors will either repair or replace any defective products or parts thereof with new or factory rebuilt replacement items and return the product to the consumer in  working condition. No charge will be made to the consumer for either parts or labor in repairing or replacing the product.
• The repaired product will be guaranteed for the balance of the original warranty period, or for ninety days from the date of repair, whichever is longer.
• Upon request from Note Tower or its authorized distributers, the consumer must provide the purchase receipt or other information such as the product serial number to prove the date and place of purchase.
• Transportation, delivery and handling charges incurred in the return of the product to Note Tower or its authorized distributors will be borne by the consumer.

The consumer shall have no coverage or benefits under this limited warranty if any of the following conditions are applicable:
The product has been subject to abnormal use, abnormal condition, improper storage, exposure to moisture or dampness, exposure to excessive temperature or other such environmental conditions, unauthorized connection,  authorized repairs, misuse, neglect, abuse, accident, alteration, improper installation, acts of God, spillage of foods or liquids, maladjustment of customer controls or other acts which are beyond reasonable control of Note Tower, including deficiencies in consumable parts such as fuses.
Breakage or damages unless caused directly by defects in materials and workmanship and normal wear and tear of the product.

• Note Tower was not notified by the consumer of the alleged defect or malfunction of the product during the applicable limited warranty period.
• The product was used with or connected to accessories not supplied by Note Tower.

Any implied warranty of merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose or use, shall be limited to the duration of the foregoing Witten warranty. Otherwise, the foregoing warranty is the purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy and is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. Note Tower shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages or a loss of anticipated benefits or profits.
Your warranty DOES NOT COVER damage caused by falling devices.
Do not step on any part of the device as this walk cause breakage.
Do not submerge any part of the device in water or expose any part of the device to water.

Note Tower LLC hereby declares that this device is in compliance with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of Directive 2014/30/EU.
