Product Usage Instructions

Wearing your watch

  1. To ensure accurate fitness and health measurements, wear the watch on your wrist with direct contact to your skin and a comfortable fit. Avoid wearing it too loose or too tight over your  joints and ensure it is secure during exercises.
  2. Adjust the strap
    • Insert the strap into the T-buckle.
    • Adjust the length of the strap until it is comfortable on your wrist.
    • Insert the T-buckle’s prong into a strap hole to secure it.

Chapter 1 Basics

Introduction

  • The Slide SW475 is a high performance, lightweight and fashionable smartwatch designed to control your phone remotely, help you learn more about your health, and provide professional fitness guidance. It includes useful features such as heart rate monitoring, body temperature tracking, workout monitoring and more.
  • The SW475 comes in a beautifully designed watch face, and there are four colors options for you to choose what you like best.
  • To start using the watch, wear it on your wrist and pair it with your phone and FitPro app. You will then be able to enable various features, such as answering an incoming call, making a call, message alerts, professional workout, heart rate monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, sleep tracking and so on.

Wearing your watch

  1. To ensure the accuracy of fitness and health measurements, wear the watch on your wrist with direct contacts to your skin and the maximum comfortable fit. Avoid wearing it too loose or too tight over your joints, and ensure that it is secure during your exercises.
  2. Adjust the strap: Insert the strap into the T-buckle, adjust its length until it is comfortable on your wrist, and then insert the T-buckle’s prong into a strap hole to secure it.

  • Home Butto n: In power off mode, press and hold for 2 seconds to power on.
  • Press to wake the screen, go to standby mode, or return to watch face screen.

Main Menu
Tap on the watch face screen to display the App main menu. Swipe up and down to navigate through the menus, tap on your desired app icon to open the app.

On the watch face screen, swipe right to enter the home screen, swipe up and down to navigate through the apps on the home screen.

Shortcut Menu
Tap the icons on the shortcut menu to quickly configure the settings or use the app.

Customize the Shortcut button
To customize the shortcut button, select Settings from the main menu, and tap Function Key Set to select your desired app for customizing the Shortcut button. Then you can press the Shortcut Button on the left of the smart watch to quickly use the app.

Charge your Smart Watch

  • Before charging, make sure the charging port is clean and dry.
  • Using other companies chargers may result in slow charging and/or overheating.
    • Step 1 : Place the charging contact of the smart watch onto the USB charging dock (Concave side).
    • Step 2 : Connect the USB end of the charging cable into a USB power source. When connected successfully, you will see the charging indication on the watch screen.

Charging time
It takes about 2.5 hours to fully charge your Smart Watch. Remove your Smart Watch once it is  fully charged.

Turn on/off

Turn your Smart Watch on
To turn on the Smart Watch, press and hold the Adjusting knob or Home button for 2 seconds until the Slide logo appears. Once your device is turned on, it will automatically enter the watch face screen.

Turn your Smart Watch off
On watch face screen, press the Adjusting knob or Home button once to go to standby mode, then press and hold the Adjusting knob or Home button for 2 seconds until the Slide logo appears.

Lock and wake your Smart Watch screen

Turn the screen off
By default, the Smart Watch screen will automatically sleep after 15 seconds.

To set display screen-on time, on the main menu, tap Settings to enter the System Settings  menu, and swipe up and down to select Backlight time.

Waking the screen

  • To wake the screen, press the Home Button or Adjusting Knob, and the screen will activate.
  • When enabling the “Lift wrist to bright screen” feature, you can also raise your wrist to wake the screen. To enable this feature, open the FitPro App, tap Settings > Lift wrist to bright screen, and enable Wrist Sense.

Adjust screen brightness

On the main menu, tap Settings to enter the System Settings menu, and swipe up and down to select Backlight Brightness, then tap + or – to adjust the screen brightness.

Set language
Before using the Smart Watch, make sure you have the correct language and time zone. After you have successfully gotten the Smart Watch paired with your phone and the FitPro app (Refer to the “Get started” section”), then the Smart Watch will automatically sync the language and time zone used in your phone.

There are also 2 methods that you can also set the language for the Smart Watch.

  1. By the shortcut menu Swipe up on the watch face screen to display the shortcut menu, Tap the Language icon   to  enter the language settings.
  2. By the system setting menu On the main menu, tap Settings to enter the System Settings menu, and swipe up and downC to select Set Language to enter the language settings.

Chapter 2 Get started

Install the App
FitPro is an application specially designed for SW475, which allows users to access to more features.
To download FitPro on your phone, scan the QR code shown below by using your phone camera and tapping the pop up link. Alternatively, you can search for “FitPro” in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, and follow the onscreen instructions to install the FitPro App.
Note: you can also tap the APP icon on the home screen or main menu of the watch to get the QR code.)

  • System requirement: Mobile device running iOS® 9 or higher, Android™ 5 or higher

When installation is complete, the FitPro App will appear on your phone’ home screen. Tap to launch FitPro, as shown below.

Set up account
With a FitPro account, your fitness, health and preferences can be safely and permanently stored. Follow these steps to set up a new account

  1. Launch the FitPro App, tap Register at the upper left corner of the screen, enter your email and password to set up a new account. For Apple user, you can also tap Sign in with apple by using the apple account and password.
    If you have a FitPro acount, enter your email and password, then select “Please read and ”, and tap Log In. If you forget the password, you can tap “Forget the pass-word” on the screen to set a new password.

  2. Tap Me>Personal Information on the FitPro App to change your account personal information, set step goal, etc..

Pair with your phone and FitPro App

  1. Smart Watch Settings : Swipe up on the watch face screen to display shortcut menu, then tap in the shortcut menu to turn your Smart Watch’s Bluetooth call on.
  2. Phone Settings : Turn your phone’s Bluetooth on, and turn on all permissions and notifications (In your phone’s settings, swipe up and down to select FitPro to enable Bluetooth and Notifications). This may be necessary for the app to function as intended. Search for “SW475-Phone” , then tap to connect. SLIDE-INNOVATIONS-SW475-High-Performance-Smart-Watch- \(21\)
  3. Launch the FitPro app on your phone, tap Settings > Bind device to experience more features > “SW475” > Done to pair.

When the Smart Watch is successfully paired, tap Device in the FitPro app, and the Smart Watch name and firmware version will be shown at the top of the screen.

Note: FitPro will automatically be paired with your last successfully connected device the next time it is started.

Disconnect the Smartwatch with your phone and FitPro App
The Smart Watch can only be used with one phone ID. If you want to use it with another phone, you should remove and reset it by following steps

  1. Open the FitPro app, tap Settings tab at the bottom of screen , to show the settings screen.
  2. Tap Remove > Confirm to unlink from your phone.
  3. After successfully removing the Smart Watch from FitPro app, go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings, disconnect the SW475 and SW475 Phone by tapping “Forget This Device”, the Smart Watch is now reset and ready to be paired to a new Apple/iOS device.

Get in Sync

Basics
Make sure you’ve enabled access to your contacts and notifications (Android and iOS settings may vary. Check device settings above to ensure your phone has allowed access to its information). You’ll be able to receive phone calls, messages, and more.

  • Step 1. Enable System notification access in your device’s settings (For iphone, swipe up and down in the settings to select FitPro).
  • Step 2. Open the FitPro app, tap Settings > Message Push Setting to enable the notifications((By default, the Call reminder is enabled.), then select which message notifications you want to receive.

Fitness and health data
To start the measurements for fitness and health, wear the Smart Watch with direct contact to your skin and the most comfortable fit, then tap on the watch face screen to enter the main menu to open fitness and health apps.

To view the health and fitness data with the FitPro app, open the app in your phone, tap Home to enter the data section of the app, and the data will automatically refresh each time you open the app, tap the icon at the the upper right corner to refresh the data in real-time.

Phone call and Message Notifications
If you have paired and synced your watch with your phone, then when you receive a call or message, your watch will vibrate, ring and display the caller’s number and name.

Notes: Incoming calls and messages will be displayed on your watch in the same way the information is displayed on your phone. If the caller or message sender is unknown, the phone number will be displayed. If you have the number saved in your contacts, the caller’s name will be displayed. SLIDE-

Answering an incoming call

  • Answer a call: When you hear or feel the call notification, raise your wrist to see who’s calling. Tap the Answer button on the screen to talk using the built-in microphone and speaker. In the answering watch screen, tap to end the call.

Reject an incoming call

  • Reject an incoming call: When you hear or feel a call coming in, raise your wrist to see who’s calling. Tap the Reject button on the screen to reject the call.

Making a phone call
You can do either of the following to make a phone call.

Method 1 : Using the Phone book
If you have synced with your paired phone, you can create phone book into your watch through FitPro App.

Follow the following to do

  1. Open FitPro App, tap Setting to enter the setting screen, tap Common Contact > +to enter your frequent contact name and phone number into the phone book(Note: You can add up to 8 contacts into the phone book.). Then the phone book in your watch is synced with the App.

Method 2: Direct dialing
You can also make a phone call by directly dialing the phone number.
Tap the Dialpad in the main menu to display the dialer to enter your phone number to make a phone call.

View message
The Smart Watch will vibrate when a message arrives, and the message content will display on the screen. You can also swipe down on the watch face screen to view the recently received message.

Chapter 3 Fitness and health

NOTE: FitPro app measurements are not intended for medical use, including self-diagnosis or consultation with a doctor, and are only designed for general fitness and wellness purposes. The Smart Watch is not a medical device.

Track your steps
The Smart Watch gives you tools to automatically keep track of your steps and manage your daily walking program. It lets you set specific step goals, tracks your progress, nudges you along the way, and summarizes your results. You can review your complete walking steps history in the FitPro App on your phone.

Pedometer

Step 1. Setting a step goal

  • Step 2. Wear your Smart Watch while walking, and the pedometer will start automatically.
  • There are 3 methods to access data like step counts, distance covered, and calories consumed at any time

  • Tap on the menu to view step tracking details. Swipe up on the screen to view more step data.

  • Method 3. Open the FitPro app, the step data will be shown on the top of the app Home screen.

Review your pedometer history: You can also view your pedometer data through the FitPro app on your phone: On the home screen, tap on the top “Today Steps” .

Check your heart rate
Your Smart Watch features a heart rate sensor, which can continuously monitor and record your heart rate throughout the day, helping you keep track of your health and fitness.

Start heart rate measurement

  1. Wear your Smart Watch while keeping still.
  2. On the home screen or main menu, select the Hear Rate App to start heart rate measurement. Wait a few seconds, your Smart Watch will display your heart rate in real time.
    Swipe right to return to previous screen to redo the heart rate measurement.

Check your blood pressure
It is considered that a person’s blood pressure of 90-140/60-90 mmHg (millimeters of mercury) is in normal range. High and low blood pressure can cause health problems, so keeping your blood pressure at a proper level is essential to good long-term health.
A person’s blood pressure usually goes up and down within a certain range every day, so it’s best to use more than one blood pressure reading to determine your average blood pressure.

Start blood pressure measurement

  1. Wear your Smart Watch, while trying to keep still.
  2. On the home screen or main menu, select the Bood Pressure App to start blood pressure measurement. Wait a few seconds, your Smart Watch will display your blood pressure in real time.
    Swipe right to return to previous screen to redo the blood pressure measurement.

Check your blood oxygen saturation
The Smart Watch provides an immediate estimate of blood oxygen saturation. Usually, healthy blood oxygen saturation is between 95 and 100 percent, though patients with lung issues often have a  lower percentage.

  2. On the home screen or main menu, select the Blood Oxygen Saturation App to start measurement. Wait a few seconds, your Smart Watch will display your blood oxygen saturation in real time.

Sleep tracking
The Smart Watch’s sensor can track your sleep, including sleep quality and duration, as well as different sleep cycle phases.

Before going to sleep, wear your Smart Watch, on the home screen or main menu, select and open the Sleep Tracking App to start sleep tracking.

Check your ECG
Electrocardiograph is an importance diagnostic tool to the heart disease. Your Smart Watch features a heart rate sensor, which can continuously monitor and record your Electrocardiograph data, helping you keep track of your health and fitness.

Start heart rate measurement

  1. Wear your Smart Watch while keeping still.
  2. Open the FitPro app, select ECG on the Home Screen, tap “Start measuring” to start Electrocardiograph measurement. Wait a few seconds, the Electrocardiograph data in real time will be shown display on the FitPro App screen.
    Tap < to return to previous screen to redo the ECG measurement.

Note: To ensure accurate ECG, make sure the Smart Watch is securely fastened, and the Smart

Watch heart rate sensor contacts your skin directly without any obstructions.

The sensor in the Smart Watch can monitor your sports usage, such as Running, Bike riding, Strength Training, Basketball, Tennis and so on. It will record your results, including sports time, calories burned etc..

Start sports monitoring

  1. To use sports mode, open the Sports App in the main menu to enter the sports selection menu.
    • Tip: By default, the Shortcut button on the left of the smart watch is for the Sports App, you can press the Shortcut button to quickly open the Sports app.
  2. Swipe up/down and tap to select your desired sports mode.

    • To pause sports monitoring, swipe right on the screen until a “pause” check box appears, tap the icon , tap the icon .

View fitness and health data in the FitPro app
You can view more detailed information about your fitness and health data in the FitPro app. To view your fitness and health data

  1. Open FitPro, and tap Home at the bottom of the screen to enter the Health and Sport data section of the app. And the data will automatically refresh each time you open the app, tap the icon at the the upper right corner to refresh the data in real-time.
  2. The Data section displays all the fitness and health items, tap your desired items to view the detailed reports.

Chapter 4 Apps

Bluetooth Music
The BT Music app allows you to control and play your phone’s music through your watch.

  1. Make sure the Smart Watch is paired with your phone and FitPro App. Open the music app of your choice, and start playing the song or podcast you want to listen to.
  2. On the Home screen or main menu, select the BT Music App to enter the music control screen.

Tap to select the control icon to start music control.

  • : play or pause the music playback.
  • : skip to previous or next track.

Bluetooth Camera
The Camera app in the watch allows you to remotely take pictures through your phone’s camera.

  1. Open the FitPro app in your phone.
  2. Open the Camera Control app in the main menu and tap START to start taking photos from your phone remotely. You can view the photos in your phone.

Note: To use Bluetooth camera, make sure the watch has been successfully paired with your phone and FitPro app, and keep your phone in the FitPro app screen, then tap START to take photos.

Weather
Once your Smart Watch is connected to your phone and FitPro App, on the Home screen or main menu, select the Weather App to view local weather.

Note
In your phone’s settings, make sure your phone has enabled location access to FitPro.

Stopwatch
Open the Stopwatch app in the main menudo use your stopwatch.

  • Tap Start to start timing, and tap Pause to pause timing;
  • Tap Reset to reset the stopwatch. Swipe right on the screen to close the stopwatch.

Find my phone
If you forget where you left your phone, you can use this feature to locate it with your Smart Watch. To enable this feature, ensure that the Smart Watch is connected to your phone and the FitPro App.
Select Find Phone App on the main menu. Tap Start to send the alert to your phone. Your phone will play a ringtone to alert you of its location. You can stop it by tapping Stop again or tap Confirm in the FitPro App of your phone.

Flashlight
In shortcut menu, tap to turn on the flashlight. Swipe right on the screen to close the flashlight.

Chapter 5 Settings and adjustment

Reminder settings

  1. Sedentary reminder settings

The Smart Watch’s Sedentary reminders track your daily sedentary time, prompting you to do exercise and stay healthy.

Start tracking your Sedentary time

  • Step 1. Make sure your Smart Watch is connected to your phone and FitPro. Open the FitPro app on your phone, and tap Settings > Sedentary reminder to enter the settings.
  • Step 2. Tap to turn sedentary reminders on, set your sedentary Starting time and Endig time. Once enabled, the system will remind you once every hour during the specified time, your Smart Watch will display the sedentary icon and vibrate.

Changing watch face on the Smart Watch
You can change watch face on the Smart Watch with either of these methods

  • Method 1 : Turn the Adusting knob on the Smart Watch face screen to navigate through the watch face pictures, select your desired picture to change the watch face for the Smart Watch.
  • Method 2. Open the FitPro app, tap Settings Tab > Dial settings to enter the watch face selection screen. Then select your desired picture and tap Install to change the watch face for the Smart Watch.

Device information
Open the Settings App, and select About to enter the About screen. Here you can view your Smart Watch’s hardware, software version and MAC address. The Device Name is your Smart Watch’s Bluetooth name. The 12 alphanumeric characters next to MAC: is your Smart Watch’s MAC address.

Siri Voice control
Open the Settings App, and select Siri to enable Siri voice control in your phone.

Date and Time Settings
Open the Settings App, and select Set Date and Set Time to manually set the date and time.

Set the time to back to watch face
Open the Settings App, and select Back to dial to set the time internal to back to the watch face screen .

Resetting your Smart Watch
On the main menu, select Reset App . This will restore your Smart Watch to its factory settings.

Replacing the strap
Pull and slide the strap outwards to remove your current strap.
As seen in the figure below, insert your new strap into the strap slot, then push and slide it inwards to attach it.

Care and maintenance

Cleaning your Smart Watch
You should keep your Smart Watch and wrist clean and dry. Turn the Smart Watch off if cleaning is needed. Clean the exterior surface of the Smart Watch with a soft and slightly damp cloth. It is also recommended that you clean dust from its gaps regularly.

Maintaining the Smart Watch display screen
Your Smart Watch’s display screen is made of scratch-resistant glass and ceramic with a high degree of durability. It can withstand normal wear and tear, but you should not drop it, or expose it to excessive force or sharp objects such as knives and stones.

Strap maintenance
To prevent discoloration, avoid letting your Strap contact dark clothing.
If your strap gets dirty, dip a soft brush in clean water and use it to gently wipe the strap dry.
For stubborn stains, try rubbing a small amount of tooth paste onto the stained area.

  2. Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
  3. Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
  4. Consult the dealer or an experienced radio / TV technician for help.

The device has been evaluated to meet general RF exposure requirement. The device can be used in portable exposure condition without restriction.

Product Limited Warranty

SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC LIMITED WARRANTY (“Warranty”) – Before returning your Product for service under this Warranty, please read the instruction manual carefully. If you are still having trouble with your Product, please contact Technical Support at support@summitcegroup.com.

Warning: Some Products may contain components that are small enough to be swallowed. Please keep out of reach of children.
Subject to the terms and conditions herein, SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC (hereinafter called “SUM-MIT ELECTRONICS LLC”) warrants to the original purchaser of the Product (“Customer”) that for the applicable Warranty Period listed below, the Product will be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal, non-commercial use (“Defects”).
Warranty Period encompasses, as listed below, separate “Coverage Periods” for Parts and Labor, each Coverage Period for one year, to begin from the original date of Customer purchase. If Customer returns a defective Product (or any component thereof) during the applicable Warranty Period, SUMMITELECTRONICSLLC will, at its option, during the specified Coverage Periods for Parts and Labor (as applicable) either:

  1. repair the Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) or
  2. replace the Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) with a new or refurbished Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof), in either case free of charge to Customer for Parts and/ or Labor (as applicable) during the specified Coverage Period only, and excluding applicable shipping charges (noted below), for which the Customer is responsible

The foregoing states the Customer’s exclusive remedy and SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC’s sole liability for breach of the limited warranty contained herein.
This Warranty specifically excludes any Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) that has been subject to or Defects resulting from

  • any neglect or misuse by a Customer, an accident, improper application, violation of operating instructions for the product, any other Customer-induced damage, or the alteration or removal of any product serial number:
  • any modification or repair to Product (or, as applicable any component thereof) by any party other than SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC or a party authorized in writing by SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC;
  • any damage to Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) due to power surges, incorrect electrical voltage, misconnection 17 to any device, or malfunction of any device used with the Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof);
  • cosmetic damage to the Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) caused by normal wear and tear;
  • shipping damage that occurs while the Product is in transit;
  • damage caused by heat sources, sunlight, electromagnetic conditions, or other climatic conditions; or
  • any acts of God. Product is sold to Customer for personal, non-commercial use only.

Product is not warranted for Customer’s commercial or rental use. In addition, Product is not warranted against failure, and should not be used by Customer for any application where

  1. there is a risk that any data stored on Product will be breached or otherwise compromised, or
  2. the data stored on Product is relied upon for medical or lifesaving applications.

SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC disclaims any Warranty for any of the foregoing uses to the fullest extent permitted by law. Customer assumes any and all risks associated with such uses of Product and agrees to indemnify SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC for any damages claimed against SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC for such uses. EXCEPT FOR EXPRESS WARRANTIES STATED ABOVE AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENTPERMITTED BYLAW, THE PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS”, AND SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC DISCLAIMS ALLOTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIM-ITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY(I) OF MERCHANTABILITY, (II) OF FITNESS FOR APARTICU-LAR PURPOSE, OR (III) OF NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL SUMMIT ELECTRO- NICS LLC BE LIABLE TO CUSTOMER OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY LOST PROFITS OR REVENUES, LOSS OR INACCURACY OF ANY DATA OR COST OF SUB-STITUTE GOODS, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) AND EVEN IF SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO CUSTOMER FOR ACTUAL DIRECT DAMAGES FOR ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE CUMULATIVE PRODUCT FEES PAID BY THAT CUSTOMER FOR THE PRODUCT CAUSING THE DAMAGES, IF ANY. This Warranty gives Customer specifics rights, and Customer may also have other rights that vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. To obtain Warranty service, Customer must email SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC Technical Support prior to making a Product return. Customer must include with Product return the following items (failure to enclose any of these items may result in a delay in the processing of your Warranty claim)

  1. a dated sales receipt that indicates the place of purchase, model number of Product, and amount paid;
  2. a detailed description of Customer’s problem with Product;
  3. Customer’s full name, phone number, and return address, and;
  4. a money order made out to SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC Electronics Corporation to cover return shipping charges to US destinations only.

SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC
will not make return shipments to a P.O. Box. For shipping to international addresses, actual freight will be charged to Customer. Return your Product freight prepaid in its original packaging, or packaging that affords an equal measure of protection. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for the processing of your claim (6 to 8 weeks from November to February).
