1118236 Frontier Side Rail And Clamp Installation

Important: The clamps have
a black plastic washer installed. Remove the black plastic washers when
clamping over the Utility Track. If your truck does not have Utility Tracks
the black plastic washers will need to stay installed to the clamps, however,
the clamps placed at the front will not need the black plastic washer
installed. See further clamping information below.
Follow these instructions to install cab corner weather seals and side rail
clamps on your 2022 or newer Nissan Frontier pickup. Refer to Owner’s Manual
for complete installation instructions.
- Weather Seal installation: Install cab seal “A” to the inside front bulkhead, covering full width (see below). Align top edge of seal flush with top edge of bulkhead, see fig.1. Slowly peel backing and press seal against bulkhead.
- Install Underbody Rails: After applying cab seal to the bulkhead, Measure 30-1/4” back from cab seal and place a removable mark. Place block seal in corner against cab seal. Seat the underbody rail against the top and inside of the bed rail and slide forward into block seal until the rear of the rail is flush with the removable mark just made. Clamp tightly using clamp in front of the utility track and clamp above the utility track. Take special note on what clamps require the black plastic washer installed between the outer clamp and the bed cap. See fig. 2 and 3.
- Install Deuce Side Rails: With the front part folded over, place the front end of the rear side rail flush to the rear of the underbody rail. Seat the rear side rail against the top and inside of the bed caps making sure the side rail seal is compressed, see Fig 4. Clamp to pickup using one clamp behind the utility rail, and one clamp above the utility rail. Take special note on what clamps require the black plastic washer installed between the outer clamp and the bed cap. See Fig. 5 and 6. Repeat steps 2-3 on Passenger Side.
