Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before using the appliance, ensure that your mains voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the appliance.

THERE IS A DANGER OF SUFFOCATION !

  • From time to time check the cord for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage.
  • Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever.
  • Never place it into the dishwasher.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning switch off the appliance Always disconnect the apparatus and to let it cool before cleaning. Clean the outside of the apparatus with a sponge or slightly wet linen. The parts (removable) in contact with food like plate, bowl, forks, Spatula etc. can be washed in hot water with sponge and soft detergent or put in the dishwasher. Never plunge the apparatus in water or all other liquid ! Do not use abrasive cleaners, gritting, or metal brush or another cutting object.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Before first use, remove the unit and all accessories carefully and paying attention to the sharp accessories. Clean with soap and water, bowls and all accessories. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Clean the outside and inside of the machine cabinet with a damp cloth and wipe dry.
This appliance is intended for household use.

  • Unroll the power cord completely. Before plugging in your new Raclette Cooking stone, check to see that the electric circuit is not overloaded with other appliances.
  • Check that the tension in force in the country where you are corresponds to that indicated on the apparatus.
  • Connect the apparatus in a socket-outlet in good state, and connected to the ground, to avoid any danger.
  • Disconnect the power source cable before any operation of cleaning of maintenance and accessories assembly.
  • Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface.
  • Do not use or keep this product outside.
  • Certain parts of the appliance can get hot. Do not touch them, as you may burn yourself.
  • Never modify the appliance in anyway.
  • It is possible that slight smoke smell comes out when first using.

USE

Raclette – Cooking stone

  • Plug in the appliance.
  • Put the switch at the ON position, the indicator comes on. Pre-heating time is 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Because the surface is very hot, it is recommended to put the appliance on anti-flame and heat-proof cushion.
  • It is also recommended that the minimal distance between wall or environmentally components is not shorter than 15cm.
  • It is possible that slight smoke smell comes out when first using.
  • When first use, drop some oil on the surface of plate then wipe it with dry cloth.
  • In order not to destroy the plating of non stick coating, when turning or moving food, make sure a wooden shovel is used.
  • Don’t put other mini pan which does not match the whole set on the appliance.

Baking pancakes

  1. Place the dough on the baking sheet, using a ladle (not supplied with the unit).
  2. Spread immediately, without pressing, the dispatcher in a circular motion from the centre.
    •   NOTE : To facilitate the shaping of the dough, remove the splitter into a container filled with water between uses.
  3. Cook for about 45 seconds.
  4. Turn the pancake with the spatula provided for this purpose.
    • To maintain the lining of the stove, always use the spatula provided for this purpose.
  5. Cook for about 45 seconds on the opposite side and remove the crepe with a spatula.
  6. Garnish sweet pancakes on your plate after cooking rather than directly on the baking sheet.
    • At the end and during cooking, the unit is very hot handle with care.

STORAGE

  • Ensure the unit is completely cool and dry.
  • Do not wrap the cord around the appliance, as this will cause damage.
  • Keep the appliance in a cool, dry place.
