Dear consumer, Please, read these instructions carefully before use in order
to avoid damage due to incorrect use and to better understand the functions of
this product. Please pay particular attention to the safety guide.
If you pass the device on to a third party, these Operating Instructions must
also be handed over.

- From time to time check the cord for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage.

- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- The coffee-maker shall not be placed in a cabinet when in use.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The symbol “OPEN BOOK” means a recommendation to read important things contained in the record.
The symbol “BIN” crossed out, abbreviation WEEE (Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment) means that at the end of life, it should not be discarded with household waste, but filed to the sorting of the locality. Waste recovery can help preserve our environment.

The symbol “CE” is the guarantee of compliance with harmonized European standards, voluntary, reflecting the essential requirements into technical specifications. These standards are not mandatory but are guarantees of compliance with essential requirements.
The symbol “GLASS / FORK” means that the device is compatible and can come into contact with foodstuffs.
The symbol ROHS (Restriction of use of some Hazardous Substances) on the Environmental Protection, certifies that for each of the five hazardous substances • Lead • Mercury • (hexavalent) chromium • products for protection against flames PBB and PBDE, the peak concentration is equal to or less than 0.1% of the weight of homogeneous material, and 0.01% for the 6th • cadmium.
The symbol “HOT WALL” warns the user that the walls of the unit can become very hot, and to take precautions as required.
The symbol “TRIMAN” indicates that the consumer is invited to dispose the product as part of a separate collection (eg recycling bin, waste, voluntary intake point).
The symbol ” CMIM ” is the guarantee of compliance with optional
harmonized Moroccan Standards, which reflect the essential requirements in
terms of technical specifications.
These standards are not mandatory but ensuring compliance with the essential

CAUTION: RISK OF BURN.
- During operation, the surface temperature of the unit may be hot.
- The heating elements remain warm for a long time after the appliance is switched off.
- The “HOT SURFACE” symbol warns the user that the walls of the appliance may become very hot and to take the necessary precautions.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance, disconnect the apparatus and
let it cool.
Clean the outside of the apparatus with a sponge or slightly wet linen.
The parts (removable) in contact with food like plate, bowl, forks, Spatula
etc. can be washed in hot water with sponge and soft detergent or put in the
dishwasher.
Never plunge the apparatus in water or all other liquid!
Do not use abrasive cleaners, gritting, or metal brush or another cutting
object.
LIMESTONE
If the area of use is very “limestone”, it is strongly advised to get rid of
the limestone every two months.
To do this:
- Combine three cups of alcohol vinegar and nine cups of water and pour everything into the reservoir.
- Place the empty jug on the hotplate.
- Turn on the coffeemaker and let it run for two minutes.
- Turn off the coffeemaker and wait 30 minutes.
- Turn on the coffeemaker again so that the water / vinegar mixture runs out.
- At the end of the flow empty and clean the jug.
- Fill the reservoir with clean water and operate the coffee maker.
- Repeat twice the operation.
Notes : Use only clean water and change the water between the 2 interventions.
The device should never be soaked in water or any other liquid.

FIRST USE
Before first use, remove the device and all accessories and being careful with sharp accessories.
- Clean the apparatus according to the instructions in “Cleaning and maintenance” paragraph.
- Place the machine on a suitable flat, stable surface.
PREPARATION OF THE APPLIANCE
To ensure excellent coffee, you must first rinse the machine with hot water as follows:

Open the cover of the tank.

Pour fresh water into the tank. (without exceeding the maximum level nor putting coffee in the filter)

Put the filter on the filter bracket.
-
Place the filter bracket correctly on the coffee maker. Place the jug on the hotplate.
-
Plug the power cord into the outlet.
-
Connect the device.
-
Press the power switch (on the right side of the device). The indicator will be illuminated in red. The appliance will begin working.
Note : the red light comes on to confirm that the coffee maker is on. -
Turn on the coffee with the switch at side of coffee maker.
USE
- Completely unwind the power cord.
- Check that the voltage in force in the country where you are corresponds to that indicated on the device.
- Plug the device into a socket in good condition (earthed if the device is class I), to avoid any danger.
- Disconnect the power supply cable from the electrical network before any cleaning, maintenance and fitting of accessories operation.
- Do not modify the device in any way.
- Depending on the case, always place the appliance on a flat, horizontal, and stable table or surface.
- Do not modify the device in any way.
- The device should not be left unattended when it is connected to the main power supply.
- The device must not be used if it has been dropped or shows visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.

Open the cover of the tank.

Pour fresh water into the tank. (without exceeding the maximum level nor putting coffee in the filter)

Put the filter on the filter bracket and put the coffee powder into filter. Usually a cup of coffee needs a level spoon of coffee powder, but may adjust according to personal taste. Then close the tank cover.

Place the filter bracket correctly on the coffee maker. Place the jug on the hotplate.

Plug the power cord into the outlet.

Connect the device.

Press the power switch (on the right side of the device). The indicator will be illuminated in red. The appliance will begin working.
Note : the red light comes on to confirm that the coffee maker is on. -
the brewing process can be interrupted by pressing the switch button twice again at any time.
Note: you can take out carafe, pour and serve at any time. The appliance will stop dripping automatically. But the time cannot exceed 30 seconds. -
Remove out the carafe to serve when finish brewing (about one time later after the coffee stops dripping out).
Note : The coffee you get will less than the water you have added, as some water is absorbed by coffee ground. -
Always turn the coffee maker off and disconnect the power supply when not use.
Note: pay attention to pour the coffee out, otherwise you may be hurt as the temperature of coffee just finished is high.
SOLUTIONS IN CASE OF MALFUNCTION

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Be sure to unplug this appliance before cleaning. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or unit in water or liquid. After each use, always make sure plug is first removed from wall outlet.
- Clean all detachable parts after each use in hot, sudsy water.
- Wipe the product’s exterior surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove stains.
- Water droplets may build-up in the area above the funnel and drip onto the product base during brewing. To control the dripping, wipe off the area with a clean, dry cloth after each use of the product.
- Use a damp cloth to gently wipe the keeping warm plate. Never use abrasive cleaner to clean it.

REMOVING MINERAL DEPOSITS
To keep your coffee maker operating efficiently, you should clean away the mineral deposits left by the water regularly according to the water quality in your area and the frequency use the appliance, the detail is as follows:
- Fill the water tank with water and detergent to the MAX level in the gauge of coffee maker (the scale of water and detergent is 4:1, the detail refers to the instruction of detergent. Please use “household detergent”, you can use the citric acid instead of the detergent (the one hundred parts of water and three parts of citric acid).
- Push carafe on keeping warm plate, pay attention to let central point of carafe aligns with that of brew basket.
- Press the switch button once and the indicator in it will be illuminated red. After a while, water will drop out automatically.
- After percolate the equivalent of one cup and then switch off the appliance by pressing the switch button again.
- Leave the solution work for 15 minutes, repeat the steps of 3-5 again.
- Turn the appliance on by pressing the button once and run off the water until the water tank is completely empty.
- Rinse by operating the appliance with water at least 3 times.
HINTS FOR GREAT-TASTING COFFEE

A clean coffee maker is essential for making great-tasting coffee. Regularly clean the coffee maker as specified in the “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” section. Always use fresh, cold water in the coffee maker.

Store unused coffee powder in a cool, dry place. After opening a package of coffee powder, reseal it tightly and store it in a refrigerator to maintain its freshness.

For an optimum coffee taste, buy whole coffee beans and finely grind them just before brewing.
-
Do not reuse coffee powder since this will greatly reduce the coffee’ flavor.
Reheating coffee is not recommended as coffee is at its peak flavor immediately after brewing. -
Clean the coffee maker when over-extraction causes oiliness. Small oil droplets on the surface of brewed, black coffee are due to the extraction of oil from the coffee powder.

Oiliness may occur more frequently if heavily roasted coffees are used.
STORAGE
- Ensure the unit is completely cool and dry.
- Do not wrap the cord around the appliance, as this will cause damage.
- Keep the appliance in a cool, dry place.
GUARANTEE IN ACCORDANCE WITH REGULATIONS

This device is guaranteed for 24 months from the date of purchase of the
product by the consumer.
The warranty documents are:
- the invoice and
- the warranty certificate (located on the side or the bottom of the box) stamped and completed.
Without these supporting documents, no free replacement or free repair can be
made.
During the warranty period, we take charge, free of charge, for defects in the
device or accessories, resulting from a defect in materials or workmanship by
repair or replacement.
Services under the legal guarantee do not entail any extension of the
guarantee period and do not give the right to a new guarantee.
In the event of a warranty claim, return the complete device to your dealer,
in its original packaging, accompanied by proof of purchase.
The breakage of glass or plastic parts is, in all cases, your responsibility.
Wearing parts (for example: motor brushes, hooks, drive belts, spare remote
control, spare toothbrushes, saw blades etc.) as well as their cleaning,
maintenance or replacement, are not guaranteed. , and are therefore at your
expense.
In the event of foreign intervention, the guarantee lapses.
After expiry of the warranty period, repairs can be carried out, against
payment, by a specialist dealer or a repair service.
