Product Information
The product is a lighting fixture that requires assembly and installation. It is designed to be mounted on a post and can be used to provide illumination in outdoor spaces. The fixture has a glass panel, a cage, and a top cover to protect the internal components. It is compatible with a standard light bulb (not included) and has electrical connections for the black (live), white (neutral), and ground wires.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before starting the installation, ensure that the main power is turned off at the circuit breaker to prevent any electrical shock.
- Unpack the fixture and lay out all the parts on a clean surface.
- Connect the ground wire from the fixture (wire 4) to the ground wire from the post (wire 3) using the wire connector (wire connector 7).
- Connect the white wire from the fixture (wire 2) to the white wire (neutral wire 1) from the post using the wire connector (wire connector 7).
- Connect the black wire from the fixture (wire 6) to the black wire (live wire 5) from the post using the wire connector (wire connector 7).
- Position the wires back inside the post cap (post cap 12) and place the post cap on the post.
- Install a compatible light bulb (not included) into the socket (bulb 11). Ensure that the wattage of the bulb does not exceed the maximum wattage specified on the fixture’s wattage rating label.
- Attach the small soft pads (soft pads 17) included in the parts bag onto the middle of the glass panel (glass panel 10).
- Insert the glass panel into the slot in the bottom edge of the cage (cage 9) and secure it by pressing the tabs onto the top edge. Bend the tabs up as much as possible to hold the glass panel tight.
- Place the top cover (top cover 16) onto the cage (cage 9) and place the waterproof gasket (waterproof gasket 15) onto the top cover.
- Secure the top cover and waterproof gasket using the loop (loop 14).
- Screw the screw (screw 8) through the holes on the post cap until the fixture is secure.
- Turn on the power to complete the installation.
ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION
Please read carefully and save these instructions,as you may need them a later date.
CAUTION
Turn off the main power at the circuit breaker before installing the fixture,
in order to prevent possible shock
GENERAL
- All electrical connections must be in accordance with local and National Electrical Code (N.E.C) standards. If you are unfamiliar with proper electrical wiring connections obtain the services of a qualified electrician.
- Remove the fixture and the mounting package from the box and make sure that no parts are missing by referencing the illustrations on the installation instructions.
- Carefully unpack the fixture, lay out all parts on a clean surface.
- Use the wire connector(7) to connect the ground wire from the fixture (4) to the ground wire from t he post (3). Use the wire connector(7) to connect the white wire from the fixture (2) to the white wire (1 neutral wire) from the post. Use the wire connector(7) to connect the black wire from fixture (6) to the black wire (5 live wire) from post. Position the wires back inside the post cap(12 ). then put the Post Cap(12) on Post.
- Install the bulb (11 not included) into the socket. Make sure they do not exceed the maximum wattage specified on the fixture’s wattage rating label.
- Attach the small soft pads(17)(include in the parts bag) on the middle of Glass Panel Insert the glass panel(10) into the slot in the bottom edge of the cage, then secure the glass panel by pressing the tabs onto the top edge.The tabs should be bent up as possible to hold the Glass panel tight.
- Put the top cover (16) onto the cage (9), place the waterproof gasket (15) onto the top cover, then secure it by loop (14).
- Screw the screw (8) through the holes on the post cap until the fixture is secure.
- Turn on the power.
