E260 / E260 DUO / E260 TRIO
This product is a telephone system that includes a base station and one or more handsets. It allows users to make and receive calls, access call logs, store contacts in the phonebook, and block unwanted calls. The phone system can be customized according to user preferences.

Product Usage Instructions
Before 1st Use
- Connect the plugs in corresponding sockets in the base station.
- Plug the telephone line into the telephone socket and insert the power plug into an electrical outlet.
- Insert batteries into the handset and place it on its base to start charging.
- Before using the telephone, charge the batteries continuously for 15 hours.
- Use only the provided plug adapter and rechargeable batteries.
- After connecting the base unit to AC mains, a welcome mode message will appear on the screen.
- Select the country where you are using the phone and confirm.
- To select a different language, refer to Table 1.

General Settings
This phone can be customized according to your preferences. To access the different possibilities, press the corresponding keys:
- To customize handset settings (Alarm, Ring setup, Language, Date & Time), press MENU/OK key and select HS SETTINGS.
- To change Pin code or Flash time, press MENU/OK key and select BS SETTINGS.
For example, to change the language or flash time:
- Press MENU/OK key, select HS SETTINGS, and then select LANGUAGE to change the desired language.
- Press MENU/OK key, select BS SETTINGS, and then select FLASH TIME to change the desired flash time in seconds.
If you encounter any problems, refer to the user manual for troubleshooting steps. For safety information, environmental considerations, and compliance details, please refer to the user manual.

Connecting your phone:
- Connect plugs in corresponding sockets in the base station.
- Plug the telephone line into telephone socket and insert power plug in an electrical outlet.
- Insert batteries in the handset and place it on its base to start charging.
- Before you start to use your telephone, charge batteries continuously for 15 hours.
- Use only plug adapter and rechargeable batteries supplied with your phone.
After first time power up (base unit is connected to AC mains), welcome mode message will appear on the screen (Fig.1).
Select the country where you are using the phone and confirm.

DISPLAY ICONS
- Battery level indicator (full , mid , empty ).
- Indicates that phone is on line or held.
- Icon blinks when receiving an incoming call.
- Indicates you have a new voice mail message*.
- Indicates you have new missed calls*.
- Displays when the alarm clock is activated.
- Displays when handsfree is activated.
- Displays when ringer volume is turned off.
- Indicates that the handset is registered and within range of the base station.
- Icon blinks when the handset is out of range or is searching for a base.
GENERAL SETTINGS
This phone can be customized according to your preferences, to access the different possibilities press: .
- To customize handset (Alarm, Ring setup,… Language,… Date & Time): + or – select HS SETTINGS / .
- To change Pin code, Flash time: + or – select BS SETTINGS / .
For example, to change language or flashtime:
To register a handset (if needed):
- On main base, press and hold for 10s the paging key (number 11 ).
- On the handset to be registered: press / – / select REGISTRATION/press / enter PIN code (default 0000) / press , handset is paired in few seconds.

- If only 2 registered handsets: .
- If more than 2 registered handsets: / + or – select the handset number / .
- To ring all handsets to intercom: / + or – select CALL ALL / .
To make a three-party conference call (with one external, two internals):
During call:
- Press / / select INTERCOM / / + or – select the handset number / .
- Press on the called handset to answer.
- Press and hold for 2 seconds on the calling handset to establish conference call.

Notes: Phonebook is shared with duo, trio handsets.
CALL BLOCK OVERVIEW
This telephone is built-in with Basic Call Block feature. This feature will help you avoid nuisance calls by only allowing some numbers to make your phone ring. Default setting of Basic Call Block in this telephone is OFF but you can enable it via your phone settings, as explained in the following paragraphs. This feature requires a subscription of Caller Line Identification service from your telephone service provider.
Manual call block mode
Manual call block is the easiest option when starting out. When you chose ON in the call block settings, all calling numbers registered in your blacklist will be blocked. You can add/remove numbers from that list at any time.
How to block an incoming call:
When the phone is ringing and before answering, press will terminate the call and offer you the option to register the number to the blacklist in one click. Then to confirm the registration of this number in the blacklist, press .
IMPORTANT: if you don’t confirm, the number will not be added to the blacklist and the next call will go through normally.
Enable MANUAL mode
- Press , press + or – to select CALL BLOCK.
- Press , press + or – to select BLOCK SET.
- Press , press + or – to select ON. OR
In idle mode, press to access BLOCK SET. directly.
After you enable this option, the call block icon will be displayed on the
LCD.
Add numbers to Blacklist
In idle mode,
- Press key, BLOCK SET. is displayed.
- Press + or – to select BLOCKLIST.
- Press , press + or – to select ADD, press , enter number to be blocked, press to save.
NOTE: 2 more ways to add incoming and outgoing call numbers in Block list:
- From incoming call numbers
- Press , press + or – to select CALL LIST.
- Press , press + or – to select call list entry.
- Press , press + or – to select ADD to BLIST.
- Press to show selected number, press to save to Block list.
- From outgoing call numbers
- Press , press + or – to select redial list entry.
- Press , press + or – to select ADD to BLIST.
- Press to show selected number, press to save to Block list.
Εdit numbers in Blacklist
In idle mode,
- Repeat step 1 and 2 in Section 1.2.
- Press , press + or – to select ΕDIT , press + or – to select number to be edited, press to edit, and then press to save.
Delete numbers in Blacklist
Delete a number from blacklist
In idle mode,
- Repeat step 1 and 2 in Section 1.2.
- Press , press + or – to select DELETE, press + or – to select number to be deleted, press , to CONFIRM?
Delete all numbers from blacklist
In idle mode,
- Repeat step 1 and 2 in Section 1.2.
- Press , press + or – to select DELETE ALL, press , CONFIRM? is shown, and then press to confirm.
Anonymous call block mode
This feature allows you to block numbers that do not display a number on your phone. It can be enabled or disabled independently from the previous call block modes.
- Press , press + or – to select CALL BLOCK.
- Press , press + or – to select BLOCK ANONYM.
- Press , press + or – to select one of the options.
Block Private Calls
This mode will block incoming calls that have been purposely kept their numbers private from you.
In idle mode,
- Press key, BLOCK SET. is displayed, or Press to press + or – to select CALL BLOCK, press to show BLOCK SET.
- Press + or – to select BLOCK ANONYM.
- Press , press + or – to select PRIVATE, press to confirm.
- will be displayed on the upper side of LCD.
Block All Anonymous Calls
This mode will block all incoming annonymous calls, including private calls, international calls, pay phone and other out-of-area calls.
In idle mode,
- Repeat step 1 and 2 in Section 2.1.
- Press , press + or – to select ALL, press to confirm.
- will be displayed on the upper side of LCD.
Set Block Anonymous Calls OFF
In idle mode,
- Repeat step 1 and 2 in Section 2.1.
- Press , press + or – to select OFF, press to confirm.
- will only disappear from the LCD if the regular call block (see 1. and 2.) us also set to OFF.
TROUBLESHOOTING
As a general rule, if a problem occurs, remove the batteries from all handsets for about 1 minute, then disconnect and reconnect the power supply to the base and reinstall the handset batteries. For more information, you can download full user guide or get on-line assistance: www.alcatel-home.com

This telephone is not designed for Emergency calls when the main power fails. Do not use your telephone to notify a gas leak or other potential explosion hazard. Do not open your device or its power supply to avoid risk of electrical shock. Do not attempt to open the batteries, as they contain hazardous chemical substances. Your telephone must be located in a dry place away from hot, humide and direct sunlight condition. To avoid radio signal interference, place the phone at least 1 meter away from other electrical appliances or other phones.
